I have noticed that worse and worse teams are capable of getting to 10 wins. I think the new life system makes it a bit too easy to transition. In the old sap you had to be able to transition in the span of 2 turns max because if you lose twice you are eliminated. Now there’s more lives so its much easier to sit on something that’ll pay out heavily 4 turns from now compared to needing to balance immediate winning chance with future team ability.

You are forgetting that new players got into the game on release of the golden pack. New players won’t be as efficient with their gold and will have weaker teams as a result.

There's also a lot of people playing standard pack in customs so you get matched against a lot of horse and camel teams which are just bad late on

It is considerably easier, I'm awful at the game and I've been getting back to back ten pieces after this update. They've essentially updated the lives from 4/5 to 5/6

I love the new update. Before it, it was very very difficult to win with off-meta teams but now it gives all teams a chance.

Basically me. Went from a 10% to a literal 100% win rate, although I don't play much it just shows.

Yea I went on a 20 game win streak yesterday, usually I win like 1-2/10x and that's without trying for an achievement.

I'm guessing it's inexperienced new players just not knowing what to use, especially in custom packs where the power level is that much higher

It certainly felt like it when I got 9 wins in a row while doing achievement runs where I only have one lvl 3 pet

I feel like this is fine and a great strategy for SAP. Making the game easier with an update to bring in many new or old players who quite while making it easier for them so that they stay around for a while, especially when the more dedicated and competitive players know there will be a hard and ranked mode coming to SAP. They are hitting everyones needs atm but that's only if they actually release hard mode soonish. I would say 1 maybe 2 months at most if it's later than that I feel they will loose significantly more players but other than that it's honestly been quite fun to try more meme teams instead of always playing seriously to get those 10 wins, I've enjoyed how different it's been but probs will get bored within a couple weeks

Yea bringing in new players is super important for sure.

I feel like with the new packs coming out, a lot more people are rolling their gold. Plus the life system helps those weak beginning teams win/draw enough to keep up with the rounds. So you have a mix of pro players w/ 50.50s and synergy against a noob who’s struggling to stay alive

The game is definitely easier now, but not because of the life system I think. Before, if you think about it the builds were basically almost all some variation or sniper and summons right? And that was considered meme build because if you wanted to win you HAD to prioritize scaling, but the game now has so many new builds people don't focus just on getting their team to 50/50 in as few turns as possible but actually try out all the different builds. Look at your older videos and I think the difference will become noticeable when you compare the teams at turn 15 from before and after. Because of this the new abilities have an opportunity to shine since it's very unlikely you're going to hit turn 12/13 and face off against a team full of almost 50/50, which is significant. What are the odds you're gonna face against teams who perfect counter the strategy you're going for every time? Not likely right? So that gives you more of a chance of winning without having to jeopardize the synergy in favor of scaling.

I just played the weekly and won twice in a row, the 1st time was a perfect run with 10 wins, 0 losses and 0 draws. The 2nd run I lost almost every round until I pivoted to Musk Ox and Nyala into an Ostrich the next round and managed to get 10 wins. The game definitely feels a lot easier.

I think the solution is lowering the life system to 4 and waiting. I remember when Starfish pack came out it was a joke (especially to people who played the test server), but as time went on it got harder especially with balance changes.

My first Golden Pack win was with a Guineafowl and it was obviously not a very strong team until I added a Vaquita late. I agree, seems way easier to win now.

There are two sides to it. On one, I've gotten about as many wins as I have previously combined on just the first weekly. On the other, I've had games stall out incredibly quickly due to poor luck on shop rolle, a lack of early and midgame development and facing teams who didn't have those problems. If you get behind the sticks early it is incredibly hard to come back from. Overall, I think it balances the game out just fine

Just give it a week for the hard core players to develop the meta. You'll be losing to teams of 30/30 turn 8 bulldogs and musk ox before you know it.

Llama/tiger/mackaw ez dubs, use bulldog start to buff mackaw then win the game (the tiger makes the mackaw activate twice) the llama then also buffs itself as empty space

@@SuperAutoGaming honestly not to toot our own horns here, but I think us OG's who played a lot and adapted throughout the updates and play custom has an easier time with playing on the go and just improvising what's best for the situation. While NL could also play customs and is OG too we know he throws for content so that doesn't count :D
