You are- half correct. At the end of that special involving him it was revealed that Jinwoo had sent him here many many times before to test how he has grown to use his powers for the sole purpose of figuring out if he is strong enough to be allowed to have access to them in the real world. This explains his speed in levelling up and doing things because even if his memory was altered each time to not remember everything that happened was real, theres still that muscle memory. While Jinwoos som is strong I think he just missed the mark to being allowed to know the truth in that special, but it still goes to show how strong his son is, even if he likely wont ever reach his fathers level.

It's canon, but.. it's wrong that SJW's son can defeat easily two highest rank of his shadow, first, high rank shadow never fight his son in full power, it's proved when beru about to fight SJW's son, he instead choosing retreat and surrender because he didn't want to hurt his young master. "like it was nothing" was a big overstatement, considering Suho had to reset alot of times in order to defeat Igris, and Igris was still holding back even before Suho defeated him, Suho also had a really hard time to fight Bellion, and this was Suho at the final stage of Jinwoo's imaginary game.

Hah.....say things all you want but in fact suho is still weak ......he was just raised with a golden spoon while sung had to level before becoming strong while suho is born with a mana a monarch which comes from his father sung......

The chapters of Beru, Bellion, and Ingrid reminiscing about both father and son while fighting Jinsoo was damn perfect. Beautiful blend of badass and adorable.

The shadow monarch has essentially no limits and is basically a god of death. The longer it exists the stronger it gets. The power the shadow monarch has is older and more powerful than the absolute being, and is only called a monarch because the previous one chose to be, not because of how it was made. Even if su ho's power is also infinitely growable, the fact that they are infinite means they will essentially just be on equal terms
