The creme de la creme pièce de résistance of 848 Braised Duck Rice is actually their chilli. I always crave for it and have so much of it that 1 time I went to the hospital.

i'm sad y'all didnt feature red bean for the pancakes. It's my fav flavor and the way they do it is very special. There'll be like little chunks of it so the texture is just chef's kiss. (Also they serve ice cream so you can legit have it as desert pancake)

Yessss! Have to agree the Ming Qi Hokkien mee and char kuey teow is gooood! Been eating since few years back. And YESSSS I start to not like the chicken rice there already. The standards dropped abit compared to last few years.... and worst they are damn rude! I went around before dinner time I wanted Chicken thigh or drum they say sold out. So no choice I got the breast. Next moment after collecting the rice and I went to add one more bowl of rice the next person got thigh!!! when I ask them they say Just now don't have ma! now then have! But bro its been only less than 5mins!! They have but purposely don't want release!

OMG the recommendations are so mediocre. 1) If you want duck rice you should have gone to chong pang. If you are in Khatib you might as well get the carrot cake. 2) Then you might as well take a bus west to A hot hideout for collagen mala tang. Personally I thought the chicken 925 chicken rice is still good but then the queue is like not what it is use to. Alternatively you can travel close to Chongfu primary for the fried porridge (yes they shifted) or the fish soup close to Chongfu is legit hidden gem. 3) Munchi is soooo not value for money now. Earlier this year their serving size was still sooooo big. Now the serving size is not even half of what it was used to. Nice is nice but super expensive for such a small piece. And if you are in Yishun park you might as well go for Nanyang curry. Best curry in Singapore. Or Taliwang is also a good choice. 60 cent cheaper than tam chiak kopitiam.

At first i thought it'll be abt Sushi showing you the different places he like to eat. If yall gonna try food that he havent even try then at least consider famous options like Nasi Taliwang at the same hawker or Hajah Maimunah opp North point.

Tried the char kway teow today and it was average at best. Actually have tried a lot of food recommended by Food king and get fed but most turned out to be average at best. Subjective tastebuds maybe?

There’s 2 answers. Food is subjective yes, what u like most could be what we hate most and vice versa Another is, vendors do give their very best effort when they know they gonna be on video, and we can only judge base on what we ate isn’t it? 🤷
