The Indian student talk as if like he is so smart. Young is only a number. No point being young but not practical. Life haven't even begin yet for these youngsters. Does the young think that only they have the votes? of course not. Today's old is yesterday's young. People grow old. Fundamental thinking and value will change every 10 years. The disgusting traits about young people is that they thought they are very smart. When they step into society then, slowly they start to realised that those who looked the most harmless are actually the smartest and those who makes the most noise, looking like smartest are actually the empty brains.

Countries become rich because they are innovative and on the forefront of technology disruptions. If they are last, they have to import that knowledge and end up last. This politician has too much focus on the short term. It will hurt Singapore in the long run.

I think Singapore consistently invest into the renovation of technology. However, implementation into the industry really does require many small steps. The industry will only change until there is a vanguard shows up with feasible outcome/profits. No one will ever take risk by paying tons of money into this.

Boy, why are you not talking about background burning of garbage with all kinds of plastic and plastic bottles etc that are putting all gases that are harmful for environment. And we are not talking about hundreds of backyard fire but billions across Asia, China Russia and Eastern Europe and all over Africa. These can be avoided at a very little cost.

Enough mah. We so small can do what ?

Don’t drive car no road tax simple as that. Not as if you can’t get private hire or can easily nowadays. Want to drive then pay taxes, our land are limited. No money just take public transport, it’s not rocket science.
