No way Ippei is a fall guy. The feds said they worked tirelessly last 3 weeks because of the magnitude of the matter in the press conference yesterday. Read the court complaint documents if you haven’t. The information there shows you they actually took time to put as detailed information as possible. They can prioritize their work depends on the case. They said Ohtani turning his digital devices in and allowing the access to his bank information made it easier for them to investigate. Ohtani is completely a victim here. Some haters still suspect Ohtani’s involvement or his knowledge of Ippei’s addiction but no frauds will let their victims know about their struggles or the reasons why they are stealing from them.

If you choose to not read or believe the entire affidavit of details that explain almost every single thing to doubt... then that's on you. If you want to believe somehow the Feds care about Ohtani's baseball career or protecting MLB... that's on you.
