Is she cheating on her Ibis?

#JeffKendallWeed #YetiSB130
While I have a long history with Ibis Cycles, I was really impressed with the loaner Yeti SB130 I started riding back in February. My wife also took that SB130 for a few rides while we were in Sedona, and she also enjoyed it. So much so that we ponied up the moola and bought one for her! My wife is now riding both the SB130 and a Ripmo V2. Both bikes are great, and they do excel in different areas.

This conversation type video is rad, really brings a fresh element and experience of both riders. Great job and very entertaining!
Thank you Jamie for sharing with us! Hopefully you'll find the time to do more joint vidoes!
We loved this video Jeff. My wife and I like to banter when we ride as well. She has a V1 Ripmo and she just picked up a Pivot Mach 4 SL for those longer days in the saddle. It's a great bike and she's really liking it so far. I ride a V4 Ripley and a DV9. It is nice to have a backup with parts being so hard to come by. Even tires have become hard to get....
This reminds me soooo much of my fiancé and I. I have the SB130, she rides the SB100. We always joke about being dentists (she's a molecular biologist, I'm a carpenter) even though were about as far from it as possible. Great video Jeff, I always enjoy watching your videos as I'm from the PNW but currently reside in NC. Thanks!!
Love the video, you and your wife should make more together! I love riding with my wife and watching her progress. She rides a 2018 Norco Sight A3 she named Mrs. Violet. I love it when she conquers a technical feature that she shied away from previously!
Awesome! Congrats on the new Yeti SB130! I ride the same bike and LOVE it!!!! She was shredding in pretty slippery conditions! Well done looks fun!
Nice to see your other half riding. My wife took over my 2016 Scott Spark and it got her into mtb for real. Now they are 5 women riding together a couple of times a week and they are stoked. I own a Ibis Ripmo AF with DVO and I love it. I'm still waiting for your review of the DVO.
Great video Jeff!! Enjoyed watching you ride with your wife. Awesome bikes too!
I ride a 2020 sb130. Took me some getting used to. I couldn’t get the small bump compliance dialed until I removed 1 spacer from the fork. Now it’s set at 25% sag and feels supportive, yet not harsh. Tried to go lunch ride but kept washing out. 150 up front is now perfect for me. Very fun and fast bike.
So stoked you guys are on Yetis, we're a husband wife pair on SB130s too! Hope to see more.
Need an extra $5,000 bike for when those $5 components break or get worn out. Thanks COVID.
Definitely more Jamie!! Fun to see/hear her point of view--wish I could ride like her.
Enjoyed the video. It's nice to see both of you on trail ride. My husband and I are MTB beginners. Never thought we get hooked on bike riding, it's a lot of fun. Your riding techniques are amazing!

Great stuff Jeff 😉 good to See your wife enjoy her New bike 🚴 🚴😎👌👌
Bought my wife a Rocky Mountain Altitude A30 this year, after hearing glowing reviews. The build spec was decent and it’s super adaptable.
Hell yes! I just picked up an SB130TLR (shimano XT build), and effing love it. Early days but seeming like a pretty perfect bike for me and my riding in southern Oregon. Wife rides an SC 5010 btw 👍
I am pretty sure she was coming down Airchair while I was climbing Dos Copas a few weeks back. You guys are rad Jeff, cheers!
Anyone else just love every time he pops a manual? Something about it.
Nice to see the Wifey out with you! I demo'd the 130 and really liked it! Reminded me of a cross between a Ripley and Ripmo.

Right on Norbert!
My wife is just dipping her toe in riding, so I bought her a Marin San Quentin 2. Solid frame, decent drivetrain, solid suspension, and a frame with boost 148 and geo that would be fine on trail beginner loops but also when things get rowdy. Put some Rekon 2.8s on it and it’s fantastic. I kind of want one for myself.
Good stuff, fun to watch and informative

This video was great! My first test ride was on a small frame Yeti SB130 Turq that I rented for the day and rode in Cumberland BC. Little did I know, the rest of my demo rides were doomed. There’s not many shops around here to demo so following the Yeti I just sat on for size - the Ibis Ripmo, Trek Fuel, a range of small Santa Cruz’s and Juliana’s. The Yeti is the store rental unit and is has been well ridden; I haven’t seen another small SB130 available. I’m thinking hard about an Orbea Occam that is available but after watching this video…I feel like I’m cheating!! I loved that Yeti SB130 and feel like I’m settling 😣
I had fallen behind in the new technological advancements and did not know the QR/pinch bolt proceedure. Thanks for the tip. Enjoy the channel
What a nice video of you with your wife, bring Jamie back and I would like to hear more about her opinion on the SB130, most of us probably have a closer skill set to her than you.
Watch that front end. I had bog issues with traction loss on my sb130. I just sold my sb130 and bought a Ripmo. I only have 2 rides in so far but I really enjoy the Ripmo.
Ya'lls banter is gold.. Wife has jokes👀🤣🤣🤣. Gold 🚴🏾♂️🤙🏾🤘🏾💪🏾
thanks guys, amazing!
Never apologize for wheelies, most of us viewers wish we could manual as good as you. I think it's fantastic that your Wife rides mtb, my Wife just can't get over the fear of crashing, even on smoother trails. This is such a good video! I know it’s probably tough to find time to ride together but I really enjoy these types of videos! It’s also nice to see someone else riding the same bike as me and enjoying it as much as I do. Do you think Jaime will LR convert it? Or maybe it is already the LR. Edit: just saw the end question. My partner rides a hot pink sunburst 19 Specialized stumpy 27.5. She loves it and never wants to get rid of it. Damn near broke her heart when she smashed the chain stay into a rock. Luckily we got a chainstay quick and was able to swap it.
"I didn't even know she was trying to drop me" Oooh that hurt
I bought my Ibis from Jenson and it was a great experience !
Great video, nice bikes, and your wife seems pretty cool about being in videos, let her decide if she wants to be in more
Snot rocket @ 8:57. That marriage is solid.
Nice format!
The wife rides a Canyon Neuron 6.0 WMN. Came with SRAM components but she preferred shimano for the trigger shifter. Switched her to a deore 12 speed drivetrain and quadiem brakes and she loves it. Using extra components to build hard tail for myself… score
Interesting to see what you chose to spend your hard earned money on. Rad bike and great vid!
I’ve been using that same air compressor blower for about 3 years now. It works great on fat bikes too!

@@SomeGuyOnHisDreamBike funny thing about dream bikes is that there is always another dream bike to come. I started riding mtb 30 years ago on a steel rigid trek 930, rode that thing everywhere, even Killington VT DH trails. 10 years later, splurged on 2 custom dream bikes, custom paint, proshift CNC drivetrains, carbon cranks, carbon bars, Moots custom ti stems. One bike is a giant team mcm hardtail put cable discs on it (new thing back then) marzocchi fork, the other bike is a K2 Oz M full sus, fox fork that I had "Push"ed, spinergy rev x roks carbon wheels, proshift v brakes, even had the wheels custom painted to match the frame. I was even able to get custom brake rotors for the hardtail cut by Hope. I name my bikes and I called the ht "Momentum" so I had the word Momentum cut into the rotors. No one is doing this anymore, sadly. then, this year I saw a pic online of the Ibis Mojo 4 in white, and I was hooked. I looked and hunted and finally found a demo one for sale. Picked it up yesterday from UPS. She is beautiful! Can't wait to ride it. It's my newest dream bike!! Good luck with your Ripmo!!

Super jealous you guys get to ride your trails when wet. We've had a wet spring in Colorado and our trails can't handle wet use so riding has been very limited. But we'll dry out soon and the chunder will be primo.
Nice to meet your better half !
I love both the Ripmo and the SB 130. If I could afford it I’d have both but since I had to pick I went Ibis.
Great video and great riding! For fitting purposes, how tall is Jamie and what's the size of her Ripmo V2? You mentioned that she's riding a small in the Yeti. It looks like the Ibis frames runs a little smaller than Yeti on paper? Looking forward to a comparison video of the Ripmo V2 and SB130.
Great content, would like to see you two ride together. Showing my wife to see couples that ride together stay together. ❤
Kind of like shoes? I love it!
I am on a 2020 Haibike Allmtn 2.0 with a wireless Sram AXS dropper post and Industry Nine Hydra hubs. My wife rides a 1995 Trek 820 rigid bike. Not my fault. When Covid-19 hit I thought that bikes would be scarce and I better get one now. My wife believed that if she held out longer that due to Covid the prices would go down. She waited until no more bikes were available here in Ohio.

Nice bikes there. Yeti's and Ibis are GREAT bikes for any kind of trail riding, love the Ibis frame designs. The whole 1x12 I THINK has been reaching the limit. I see more riders even going DOWN to an 11 and a 10. I have a 12 speed Eagle GX 10-50t on my Stumpy w/an Absuloute black round (not oval) 32t up front. I get MAD top gear for speed and on some super steep techy uphills I DO indeed use the 42 and 50 cogs. was thinking maybe when I go to the X01 I might even go 10-52t.. maybe. So far though with the 32t chainring I'm not looking for more than the 50t. It seems more specific purpose riders are going to the 11's and 10's, like XC, DH, enduro race specific, not general AM and trail, most of those riders are sticking to the 12's, but I AM seeing some go back to 11. This is why I'm assuming we've reach the turning point with 12 speed. Have even seen a couple companies making a cassette with a 12-speed starting w/a 9-cog, hmm.. ~JSV
