I think the Scar King will be a cunning, intelligent, overall agile and physically capable Titan who uses tools and even weapon to get the upper-hand rather than raw strength. He will surely be the most interesting antagonist of the Monsterverse in history, behaviour and intelligence !

Kong can do this too to an extent that he rips trees out of the ground and shapes them into spears but not so far that he actually sharpens boulders as spear heads for those. I heard I one of the videos that the beast titan as I like to call it could also use monsters not unlike hunting hounds which would make its cunning ever more intimidating.

My theory: Grandpa kong was walking around his territory, finds scar. He takes him in as he has no place to go. The local kongs did not like him but grandpa kong, as the leader insisted that they bring him in so even though they didn't want him they let him in. As an outsider they bullied him while grandpa kong was away. Then when he grew up he caused trouble which lead to his exile. He trained, built his own weapons and army. He then forcefully took the lands and killed, enslaved and tortured the kongs as they stood no chance against his weapons, army and hollow earth energy strikes. Grandpa kong guides father kong and his friends and sacrifices himself to let his children, family and some of his villagers run away, scar king quickly catches him and some of the escapees but some still escaped. Some went to skull island, some died on the way, some went to other places then all the escapees died and kong was born, and survived. Then the later events happened leading to gxk. Kong went around and explored the huge hollow earth, he found many more of the handprints and followed them leading to scar king's domain. Kong was fascinated by the discovery of more of his kind, they were the first other kongs he ever met other than his mother which was for a few moments. Scar king leads him around and shows him everything the once he was distracted, whipped his arm with the bone whip injuring his arm, he tries to fight back but was overpowered and outsped so he ran as fast as he could and barely gets away alive, almost losing hi arm and lost his axe in the process, thinking of his life choices and realising what he did to all the kongs and gets angry, swearing to take his revenge. Then he goes up, gets a gauntlet and meets with the new and pink g-man. Some side quests were done and finally The fighting happens and after a long and bloody battle, scar king and his army gets defeated. 2battle will be that scar king catches the two but ultimately gets defeated 3will be that he in invades the upperworld but he gets defeated. There is tiny to no chance he will win tho This is definitely a long comment but thx for reading it! If you did.

Scar King possesses the same capabilities as all orangutans have: Skill and intelligence. I wouldn't mind if Scar King communicated with Kong in a conversation in order to make him turn against Mankind. Either way, Scar King will be a dangerous Titan threat to both Godzilla and Kong.

I will never forget my high school trip to the San Diego Zoo. I had a bag of candy while at the Orangutan exabit, one noticed and pointed at it and than pick up a rock and processed to toss it over the glass wall. Like it was showing me what to do to give it some. It blow my mind how smart this guys really are.

worth noting orangutans arent as weak as this video makes them out to be. they probably arent as strong as gorillas but would easily take out a human. their muscles are tightly wound like a spring that gives them a slender look and helps with agility.

Hear me out on this. We know the Kongs developed weapons to use against Godzilla and related species. But what if the G-Man's family tree wasn't the first to have weapons made tailored to fight against? While the glowing eyes could just be a unique feature, what if Scar King's entire species has abilities that are unique to them? We know the Kong species didn't have offspring as often as many other titans (warbats, skullcrawlers, and mutos are great examples). But what if SK's species not only reproduced faster, but had some sort of ability that made them a dangerous threat to other titan species. As a result the kongs could've developed their first weapons to fight off the red apes, but when that threat was "gone" the kongs realized they could become the true kings through these weapons and teamwork. This would not only be what gave rise to the whole GvK conflict, but could also explain why Kongs treated pretty much every titan species as a kill on sight scenario. Admittedly I'm probably overthinking it but either way I'm looking forward to this.

This video fails to take into account that Legendary Kong is not just a Gorilla. He takes a lot of inspiration from chimps, and arguably humans, too. The chimp aspect explains a lot of Kongs more un-gorilla-like behaviors, like the ready tool usage and carnivorous inclinations.

I wonder if there was a progenitor/ancestor species for the Kongs and Red Apes, and both species fought each other sometimes. Just a thought. Now, getting into Scar King, I wonder if, somehow, he’s been observing Kong and Jia or he heard about Kong and Gojira teaming up; it’ll be cool to see the interactions Kong and Scar King will have with each other.

What would happen if we dropped Godzilla 1998, his offspring, and his oldest son from the animated series on Skull Island and see how each of them survive. 1. How would Godzilla 1998 survive(remember G 98 has his power breathe, which is a flammable gas released from his mouth, all he needs is an ignition system) 2. How would the babies survive(with and without parent and if they decide to travel in packs or on their own) 3. How would Godzilla from the animated series survive

I think 1998 could potentially survive for a long while, until Camazotz or the Kraken pulls up. Even the Skull Crawlers, most of which will be at most a nuisance, wouldn't be too much of a hassle for Zilla, though that being said, he'd probably stick more to the waters as a primarily fish-eating, water-swimming reptile with the ability to lay a lot of eggs. The babies probably won't be able to last long without each other, and even then, only a few at most may potentially be able to reach adulthood if they stuck to areas with less predator activities and hostile environmental factors. With their parents supervising them, however, their chances of surviving are increased significantly and they may even develop a potential taste for more land-based prey. As a consequence, their best chances of survival could ultimately be beneficial against something like Camazotz or the Kraken, should they become fully grown before fighting them as a pack. Overall, they have a chance, but including the concept of them having family greatly enhances their chances as a species than just on their own. Zilla Jr, however, could probably dominate the island, and prove at least a very painful thorn in the side of Camazotz and the Kraken all on his own. I don't know about winning, but I bet there's a relatively good chance he could beat them, courtesy of being presumably much tougher and more resourceful than the rest of his would-be kin and definitely superior to his father in abilities and power. What do you think?

Like the last movie, I don't think Scar King will be the main antagonist in this movie, I think he will be able to control a monster even more deadly, something that once again needs the combined strength of Godzilla & Kong to take down.

I think the Scar King actually orchestrated the war between the Zillas and the Kongs! Destroying both races almost completely except our champs. I believe Scar King definitely has the intellectual ability to use weapons and make them just like Kong. The difference between the two is he has prior knowledge on weapons whereas Kong goes with what he can find useful at the moment. I believe we will see two sides of weaponry used more like Kongs Axe rather than just tree spears and Brute force.

Never thought i would be saying this: i'm really hyped for this movie. I wish for the monsterverse to get bigger and bigger. Also i think gidhora (or however you write it😅) should be kept as a later enemy, when we already have some monsters explained and seen just to have them brawl it out in the end.

My theory about Scar king comes from the Reason why Humans became smart in the first place: Meat. Proteins. Maybe the Red Apes' diet gave them super-Intelligence (and maybe other Powers?). Now what would he eat? Well, look at the blue eyes... Then look at the blue glow behind the Gojira-Skull. Then look at his red fur and then at the red glow behind the Kong Skull. My theory is that the Red Apes hunted and ate both Gojiras and maybe Kongs. Absorbing the Radiation of the Gojiras' Flesh and being nourished by the Proteins in it, they became super smart. This would reflect what i mentioned about Humans above.

LEAK DISCUSSION + POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW: The word around the internet is Scar King uses a whip made with Shimo's crystals, similar to how the Kongs used axes made with Gojira dorsal plates, to control Shimo. Initially, when the possibility of a second villain became a hot topic of discussion, my theory was that Scar King would use some form of mind control to "enslave" Shimo and force him to do his bidding, and that his eyes would glow blue (just like in the teaser) when he uses that ability. I much prefer this idea because that power would make Scar King a much more menacing villain, but KDM has said that he has no special powers, so that theory is pretty much debunked.

@@Arronic LEAK DISCUSSION + POTENTIAL SPOILERS BELOW DISCUSSION TOPIC: SCAR KING'S HISTORY AND POTENTIAL MOTIVES: Some potential leaks from a while back suggest that GxK won't be the first time Godzilla and Scar King have met, they do have some history with each other and they definitely aren't on good terms. Allegedly, wayyyy back in the ancient times, SK ruthlessly led a small army of other members of his species. He craved power and control, he wanted to rule the Hollow Earth and would do anything he needed to do to make that happen. This included enslaving lesser Titans/species and possibly even ordering his army to commit mass genocides against other HE species. Obviously, the Gojira were having none of it. So at some point, our very own Godzilla decided to go pay SK a little visit. I've heard a few different things regarding that visit and how it went down: 1. Godzilla pulled up and beat the dogshit out of SK in a brutal and utterly one-sided fight 2. Godzilla pulled up and defeated him in a fight where SK did have his moments and managed to get some hits in, but the fight was still a total mismatch and he was still beaten to a pulp by Godzilla 3. Godzilla pulled up and brutalized SK AND his entire posse Despite there being so many different claims, all of them have a few specific details in common: 1. SK definitively lost this fight and somehow was trapped in the HE as a result 2. There were no other Gojira involved in that particular fight, our Godzilla did this by himself 3. SK is PISSED over that fight and is actively seeking revenge against Godzilla for it If any of this turns out to be true, then there's no way he'd ever be able to control Godzilla. Honestly, my prediction is that we're actually going to see SK craft the whip at some point during the film after he gets freed. He didn't have it when Godzilla came and laid the smack down on him, and he's probably making the whip because he already knows that he's no match for Godzilla without it, and I wouldn't be surprised if he were to still doubt his ability to defeat Godzilla even with the whip and wants to control and weaponize Shimo himself to increase his chances against Godzilla even more.

I honestly would have preferred something like Gigan or Megalon as the villain.

Disappointingly, real world apes don’t actually have deep conversations like we think they do. They are usually only a few words long, very simple, and usually requests like “what’s that?/give orange”. Kong is an exception in every way, and considering Scar King will likely be super intelligent for a kaiju, I’d be interested in him actually having a language to speak

Third, and I love this video. Personally, I would've called the red ape the Crimson King instead of Scar King, but that could just be me liking alliteration, and I still like the name they gave the antagonist.

If you've seen an Orangutang you'd know that Skar looks nothing like that. He's tall and lanky. His fur is a similar color to an Orangutang but that's where the similarities stop. He's a fictional character just like Kong. This Kong isn't a gorilla like Jackson's Kong was. He's a simian like creature just like the original Kong was.

Personally i dont think thin arse monkey would directly join the fight. Similar to most action movies, he might have a bunch of stronger cronies with him(obviously shimu) to fight. But i think once gman and kog kill shimu, theyll be way too tired and then scar king might join the fight

Could Scar King be a Gigantopithecus? They are similar to orangutans, and also way bigger than modern apes, I mean they are the largest ape species ever to live. what would you all think? Educate me if I am missing something, please.🤔

i feel like he could be, enlarged due to the energy of the inner core, but again? gigantopithecus was like a gorilla, extremely tanky
