Only $958.99 rn for my May cruise

We've enjoyed the Beach Club on our last few cruises. One tip I'd add is that you can reserve a lunch time at the Beach Club restaurant while on the ship by stopping by any of the specialty restaurant host stands.

We purchased te Beach Cabana for a party of two. We are not worrying about the price, we are going to enjoy our vacation. You only live once, enjoy what you work hard for.😊😊

I know this was posted Sep 2021, and it's currently March 2023, but I am DISGUSTED at the price hike of these! Currently, my cruise planner shows prices of $235.99pp for entry, $1999 for a regular cabana, and $3499 for an overwater cabana. Absurd!!

@@Rumline7 That's wild. It's not worth it, honestly. We couldn't even enjoy the ocean while there because of jellyfishes. The steak at the restaurant was good, but I'm sure I could've had similar at Chops. And the pool felt small.

@crashedherparty I'm sorry to hear that. I'm starting to think the legit best way to enjoy Coco Cay is to not have any reservations/cabana/etc and play it all by ear. Maybe the water park if that's your jam. When we were there a couple of weeks ago, there were strong 15-20kt winds coming onshore from the pier side. Chill Island was totally blown out, but Breezy Bay was completely calm. We had paid for a day bed at Chill Island, but it got canceled by RCI because of an overbooking error. We were super bummed at first, but after getting there, we were glad that we weren't tied to that side of the island and were free to go where the wind wasn't an issue.

the overwater cabana is on sale rn for ONLY $958.99 really tempting to getting it! And Beach club pass for only $80.99. Lowest ive ever seen for both! 😁 i wonder if it's lowered due to these current events happening down there rn. These prices are for May too

We booked the day passes and loved it! The food was delicious and we had the drink package, so drinks were good and free flowing! The Coco Cuvée was incredibly refreshing and the pina colada was really good. Such a nice and relaxing day.

We rented the overwater cabana last year when we went, we split it between two parties (there were 6 of us total) and it was a wonderful relaxing experience. I think it’s worth it if you can split the price between a couple parties! The food was amazing and the attendant was always there to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

Best video I’ve found on coco beach club

The short answer for me would be no. We did a day pass at the beach club this past weekend and would not even consider the cabanas. Those things are ridiculously priced in my opinion. As far as the beach club goes, we got a black Friday deal of about $89 a person before tax if I remember correctly and my thoughts are that was the most it should be at all. The menu was limited. Heavy on the seafood options, which is great if you are a seafood person, if not, the menu is very narrow. Also, there are only eight day beds, so unless you get there the minute they open, you are not getting one. The beach area is nice but nothing special differentiating it from the other areas around the island that I saw as we did walk around to see what the rest of the island looked like. You do have wait staff that will come to you for beverages once you raise the little flag on your lounger which is cool. The heated infinity pool is nice. All in all I don’t plan on reserving this again when we return to Coco Cay.

Great to know the pool may be heated. I’m looking for a semi secluded area in the island that has a pool next to the beach, so this is perfect. I’ve been to Cococay and I hate that the main pool is in the middle of the island (you feel like the pool is in Orlando and not in an island in the Bahamas), full of kids and noisy guests by the bar.

@@sak_5 Very true. The pool at the private beach club is very nice and when we were there, it wasn’t overly crowded at all. It was heated and felt great. We walked over to the main pool just to see it and unless you get there early you’re going to be in the middle of a spring break crowd, which can be fun but it is more of a party. We just felt the beach club was over priced for what you get but it is a nice area.

@@brantthompson199 Update. I was in Coco Beach Club yesterday. It was totally worth every penny, even though the price was hefty at $229pp. Our ship was the first to dock, so we almost ran to the beach club once they let us disembark (8am) and we got the bed we wanted right in front of the pool with ocean view. The pool was heated but felt fresh. The food was excellent, we had ceviche, shrimp cocktail, surf&turf, and brownie. Service was excellent overall and you felt like you were in an upscale resort. Although Oasis and Freedom were there, the beach club didn’t feel crowded at all, not even the restaurant. The beach was really nice and quiet. The beach club had this nice lounge music which we enjoyed, so party people, this place may not be for you. We saw a few kids at some times, but they behaved very well. Exactly what we wanted. Then when we got back to the ship, we passed by the Oasis Lagoon and let me tell you, that pool couldn’t fit a pin, plus people everywhere eating and drinking all over the place.. it was a total mess and this just confirmed we made the right decision.

Thanks for doing this video. Wow wee, I remember just some years ago we got a cabana for a few hundred bucks. We had multiple cruises where we did that. I see what they are doing with offering the coco beach club and they are still able to get the money per person as if they were renting a cabana to 8 people. So they get the guaranteed per person price or better now for anyone in that area. I'm looking on the site right now and pre-cruise price for the Coco Beach Club is $151.99 per person (15% off).

What time does a ship usually arrive at the island and what time do they depart the island? What is the maximum number of ships that can dock at the island?

Prices have changed since this video was made- the over the water cabanas are now over 3700.00, but the price went down to 2100.00 two months before the cruise. Still, MUCH more expensive now!

Thanks for a very informative video. I have never been to Perfect Day, and based on pricing I do not think I would be willing to spend $800 + for a luxury experience for a few hours. If it were for a 12 hour day I may think it was a great deal.

I'm cruising on Oasis in June of 23 and prices recently showed up for the beach club. $250 a person with 10% off for $223 a pop. the over water cabanas are $3500!!!

October 2022, I'm seeing Coco Beach Club for $250 per person (full price) or $224 if purchased before the cruise (10% discount).

Have a question for anyone that might be able to help. We have a cruise scheduled on Odyssey OTS for March 2-10, 2024 to Southern Caribbean. When I log into RC and look at the available shore excursions for Perfect Day at CocoCay, i don't see the Coco Beach Club listed (unless you book the expensive Cabanas) Does RC let those cabanas sell out before they release just the access to Coco Beach Club ? Possibly we are still too far out from cruise (around 11 months) for all excursions to be available ?

Should be buy the all day pass water park?

One review stated that if you are a foodie, that the cost may be of value…

Do the floating cabanas have a age limit ? On the app it won’t let me bring my 2 year old, it says not eligible due to age restrictions. Will they over look this or should I not book it?

We just now got the over water cabana with beach club for $2088. Compared to what yall are saying, I think I got a good price, especially since we have 8 people. Crusing May 2023

Thank you for the review!! It was very informative. Our cruise planner is currently selling for 10% off. But the price is still too much. I was considering it if it were like you said $80-$100. The cruise planner for our sailing in March 2024 is on sale for $286 each!!! Umm yeah not going to pay that much. Might just do the wave runner or something like that now. We already have the dinning package reserved so I don't think I'll be missing anything on the food.

We got the floating cabana at the beach club in Oct. 2021 - it was $799.00 which was fine - They want $1899.00 for our Dec. 5 2021 trip - NO WAY. Yes it was great but hard to justify now. Day pass was selling for $54.99 in Oct. - Dec is now between $93 and $163 - Just can't justify the cost for what you get. Seems like RCCL wants to make up all the losses from the past year as quickly as possible. Glad we got the Cabana when we did.

We have been to the beach club on 3 occasions. As we said in the video, I think it is a good value at around $100 a person, max. But that is us. The island has plenty of nice beaches, and the Oasis Lagoon pool, while large, is a lot of fun with a DJ. It depends on whether you are looking for more privacy, and the upgraded lunch. While the food is better in the Beach Club, the buffet and snack shack on CocoCay are better than most private islands. Let us know what you decide.

Just doesn't add up. The value isn't there.

It’s is not even adults only?? This seems like a total rip, you can stay at an all inclusive for this price daily and you will have much more pools and amenities.
