At United your chances are lower because Premier League is 100 times harder than Spanish league. In the Premier League there are 8 teams that can compete for the title and in the Spanish league you probably have only 3. It's not an age thing, Ronaldo is just not good enough for the Premier League.

Great physic, shape and extra training for his age, he still has things to offer. I think his mistake was signing to MU. A team with many problems to face and a very competitive league were too much for him at that age. He should have dropped his demands a bit and sign in a less competitive league, like French (as leo cleverly did), German, Portuguese , Italian or even Netherlands in order to secure UCL seasons and a smoother end to his career. It's a pity for a legend like him to be treated like that. (From a Messi fan)

messi would have performed well in the epl, the litmus test was his performance against city last season in the UCL. last season he wasn't all that but he was really good in that city game. messi also planned on moving to either city or psg so i don't think messi just went for a weak league. epl isn't that strong too these days. its always 1 or 2 teams competing for number 1 spot.

@@moemeneldukany4191 Ligue 1 isn't weak at all . Just not as competitive as BPL and Laliga are . Especially if you play in PSG , a team that wins the French title for about 10 years in a row. A great deal for Leo to join a team with an almost sure League title every season , CL performances with good chances of a title as well and a really generous contract . A nice pack... How could he performed in a full PL season , I cannot say . But it's easier to perform 100% in 2 games with city and then perform 70% in ligue 1. Hope I said that correctly.
