@@SatoriFactory If we are talking about story telling through video I would say confidently it is a gift. If we are talking about a perception of "reality" based on simulation theory or the experience machine argument which leads leads to nihalism or hedonism, then it is a curse.

@@LaurentVF In my eye the simulation argument is a fun thought experiment, the simulations are happening in every single brain and this is why I choose to include Anil Seth and Donald Hoffman in the video ... The curse Im referring to it is more of this kind: kzread.info/dash/bejne/oZd4zsttZcnHmdo.html But don't get me wrong Im not resenting where Im, Im doing my best not fall on the trap of nihilism and hedonism and I hope Im moving the needle towards taking personal responsibility and full ownership for myself ... Isn't it one of the most valuable lesson from wingsuit base jumping and other high risk activity ... such as being alive 🤣

Wow, such a good video. Interesting hearing the Joe Rogan snip, here is another inspirational video with Rogan and Jokke Sommer kzread.info/dash/bejne/nJiKr4-xZszcedI.html There was mention of Uprising team in it as well in one of the clips. I appreciate the effort that goes into these videos Alex, sharing your experiences and prospective. I did see the MindVenture episode with team Uprising and was inspired with the thought of people letting go of ego and greed being replaced with kindness and helping others. I do not follow a formal religion but believe strongly in being kind and helping others. The simulation hypothesis makes more sense to me. This life, be it a construct or not is our "reality" and feel there is SO much more to explore. Thanks again for the inspiration.

thank you to take the time to share this comment 🙏🏻 Formal religion has become meaningless for many of us ... but the search for meaning, connection and understanding of our true purpose is more relevant than ever ... same questions since the dawn of time, only packaging is changing 😜
