He lives in Mussoorie ...30km from my home...saw him in the main book/library shop in mussoorie sitting with people, he comes there every Sunday for a fan meetup. We had his stories in our school English textbooks classes.

He used to come meet fans every Saturday afternoon at Cambridge Book Depot at the end of Mall Road in Mussoorie. He stopped after the pandemic due to Ill health. Also, he lives in Landour.

Almost 10 years back I landed in Mussoorie, I quickly went to the bookstore where Mr. Bond comes to sign books. since he wasn't scheduled to appear that day, on the advice of the shopkeeper I got a book and got into an auto and reached his place. He was unwell, recovering from fever and cold, yet he agreed to see me. I played with his cat and he spoke to me for sometime and signed on the book I got. his adopted family took a picture and I love talking about this over and over again 😀
This episode left some childish warmth in my heart… read his books all my childhood and those feelings have all come rushing back
Thank you Cyrus and team. Proud to own a book signed by him and of course the customery picture with him at the bookstore in Mussoorie.
