Being in a relationship with a Narcissist is extremely painful. In this video I dive into the intense ways that a narcissist exerts control on their partners and how it can cause you to complete change and be manipulated into working for the Narcissists every need.

California actually has some of the hardest divorce rules, in terms of gaining alimony payments, and in some cases child support. Other states, like mine in Connecticut, almost always side with a wife in a divorce, even if she's the primary earner. California does not. And if the marriage is short, that's a strike against getting alimony. To get it, you have to prove first that you really tried to make it work, and part of that is time. The standard is before the 10 year mark, alimony is only granted for half of the length of the marriage, so if it's lasted 4 years, you only get it for 2. Then there's a bigger qualification, that you can't maintain the standard of living on your own without spousal support. And if you can, no alimony. However, if she starts acting and earns big bucks, while he barely works, she could end up paying him! They have this all in place specifically because of celebrities, who get into a 6 month marriage and then divorce.

My son married a narcissist as well. I was the first person on her hit list. All of his friends were soon eliminated from his life as well as other family members who saw through her. It's been excruciating to endure. The way that Harry's father, brother, sister in law and other family members have handled these two brats has set a powerful example for me to admire and learn from.

  • @marwatson7408

    @marwatson7408

Exactly having family members married to one also it seems to start with one person then escalates to others family members and then friends. Me sister was married to one thank God the marriage only lasted a year My father in law was not so lucky he died on his deathbed realizing it to late. He told my brother in law with tears in his eyes 👀 how sorry he was that he let to much time go by my brother in law was the only family member still speaking to him after his second wife pretty much cherry picked who could be in his life and who couldn’t and the sad part was he let it happen. If she didn’t like you for whatever reason and believe me she would find something you were no longer part of his life anymore. She actually told me that her and I would never have a relationship because she didn’t like my husband.🤷🏼‍♀️ even though I knew my father in law years before his son and I got married. So I can relate to what you are saying like you said everyone see right through these people and everybody is a threat to them. Meagan knows people see through her nonsense thats why she wants to isolate Harry from his family and friends. Like my father- in - law I think Harry will realize it too late.

No I’m not trying to be rude but let me give you some idea of how it was my husband never made peace with his father because for 25 years 3 out of his 4 children weren’t allowed in his home. That’s where we placing the blame on my father in law because you don’t let someone come into your life and start cherry pick your family or friends. He wants his children out of his life the only person they better hear it from his him not their step mother. Over the years my father in law had numerous confrontations with other family members, friends, his employees , business associates you name over the way his wife has treated them by the way all of these people are no longer part of his life anymore. When when he died my father in law had a wife, 2 stepsons, about 18 grandchildren, 5 siblings, numerous nieces and nephews and the only one standing in the room holding his hand when he passed away was a nurse. Not his wife who he spent 25 years defending with one lame excuse after another for her horrible behavior towards everyone. She had a memorial service and called his family after the fact and the same went for their wedding when they got married his family was told after the fact when her family/ friends got invited to the wedding. This give you an idea of what kind of person she is and like I said my father in law realized it to late. My father in law like Harry had no balls to stand up to the people they are married too.

You don’t realize you’re in a narcissistic relationship when you’re in it….it’s very difficult to disengage and think rationally without emotion taking a hold of you. The narcissistic partner is very good at confusing you, telling you that you are their world, and at the same time making you feel like you’re not good enough for anyone. They’ll say they’re sorry, only to repeat the behaviour over and over. They’ll blame you or others for their behaviour, never taking responsibility. They’ll turn themselves into a victim so you, the loving partner you are, will take care of them, and protect them. I left my narcissistic husband over 14 years ago and even though I had to go to a shelter with my children to escape, it was the best day of my life. I felt so liberated, I felt like I could breathe again. And even though he suckered me into going back to him twice more before finally leaving for good, I am so glad I took the steps to leave. He was a dangerous person, he threatened suicide as well, he made himself out to be a victim, he blamed me for all his shortcomings, he praised me, and when I didn’t agree with his behaviour he put me down and called me names. Leaving a narcissistic partner is tricky, you really have to know them and talk to professionals before taking any steps on how to leave with minimal risk of safety. I haven’t watched their documentary or any documentary pertaining to them as a couple, I can’t bring myself to watching her. Makes me cringe.

That was so sad with the suicide threat. He literally looks frazzled, besieged and I don't think it's because of his family or the media. For MM to dig up and weaponize his trauma like that is horrendous

I still cannot believe that she had the audacity to actually say to ANYONE that she was so lonely and mistreated and thought of taking her own life. First, she loves herself way too much to attempt suicide, all she was trying to accomplish was to want to BE Princess Diana, as Diana did admit later on that the felt like killing herself. That's it. Simple as that. And nobody caught that? She was doing all she could to bring these things up to the man, knowing exactly who he was, and made she she was protected at all times. The problem with that is Prince Harry believed every word she said. She is using him beyond belief. She cares nothing about HIM. If the Brits have a morning show and I think they do, she was on his program with Peirs Morgan, and something happened so disturbing that I've only heard bits and pieces of it. Way off topic. I only wanted to say if she is doing anything, anything at all you better believe she is being compensated for it. I feel so bad for Prince Harry. He will come to realize it much to late. He has not even grieved his own mothers death. And pulls something like that ( Meghan)

I went through the stage of hating myself because I fell for that. It took a while and research to acknowledge and integrate that other women have been through this and that I wasn't the stupidest on this planet for letting him trample all over me and to finally forgive myself. The moment I accepted that he is a narcissist and trust me it was difficult because I was denying it and felt the need to protect him, to shield him because he was misunderstood I forgave him immediately because he suffered trauma as a kid and no one in his family made time to help him heal from it. However I had the hardest time forgiving myself. Rationally I knew I didn't do anything wrong, but I felt so ashamed and angry at myself because I was supposed to love myself and protect myself and I didn't. Now I'm good, but sometimes I find myself remembering how sweet he could be and regretting that it ended. Usually the tears that accompany those memories get me back to reality from memory lane and I remember what he told me that made me get out of the relationship. Oh well, life goes on. ☺️

It is so dangerous to open up someone's childhood wounds and say or show you're going to provide a solution to that childhood wound. The inner child in you that so desperately craves it finally feels like needs are being met and it can get to a point where you can't extract from the situation because you feel like you can't function anymore if that wound hasn't been completely healed by the other person. And I'm guessing that usually people who use the strategy to win someone over by opening up their childhood wounds and posturing like they're going to save them eventually grow tired of it and discard the individual and when they do, they leave the other person with an open psychic wound. I'm not the biggest fan of therapy but this is why this work has to be done in therapy with a competent therapist and support of loved ones, not by a random person coming in and ripping out your stitches.

It reminds me of playa tactics, finding someone with unresolved trauma under the surface and making oneself the safe person to open up to. Creates a huge power differential and a potential dependency, and then these people are perplexed when suddenly their partners can’t let them go or put them in a position of therapist or authority- it’s bc the person is using “trauma grooming” as a wooing strategy, not necessarily indicative of intent of commitment.

I think the facts speak for themselves. Pre-Meghan, Harry was well-liked and likeable, had a good relationship with his family, and the respect of most British people. He was down to Earth, at least as down to Earth as you can be when you are literally a Prince, and now he's miserable, and all he's got is Meghan, she's all he has now. And I think that's exactly the arrangement she wanted.

Up to this point I really liked her and was happy for him, but this moment told us everything we needed to know about her and that he was lost forever. It was an act so evil and manipulative, cruel in the extreme and calculated. An abuse of his genuine feelings of losing his Mum, I would imagine his family also knew in that moment that he was in danger mentally from her.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, attending private schools including the very prestigious Immaculate Heart independent Catholic girls school in the exclusive area of Los Feliz. Moving to Toronto, Canada for a role in the nighttime soap opera suits and expanding herself socially on her lifestyle blog, The Tig. Marrying Trevor Engelson, a film producer, in a lavish wedding in Ocho Rios, Jamaica where the people of color were mostly the servers. Now lauching the Archewell Foundation online content for compassion with action. I asked.. Is he nice?" Girl... nah. Maybe if you're 21. If you're a 35 year old ambitious woman who wants to start a family, with a super busy career, super busy social life, and your fertile years are running out? No WAY you're going on any date without asking your "deal-breaker" questions (whatever they may be): How old is he? What's his deal? Kids, divorced/separated, where does he live, what does he do, what's his personality like.... OF COURSE you ask if he's nice. Duh. But we're not 21 year Instagram babes with flowers in our hair. We're busy. We have goals. Our time is limited and thus precious. Gotta screen men before we spend hours getting ready and give up an entire night of the week only to find out..... he's got that dealbreaker thing. ---- Just... obvious lies. That was just the first interview. Lies have been spilling out weekly since then, for years. What was the ridiculous lie that even made Oprah go wtf. I think she said, "I've never Googled my husband" and "I never researched anything about what the royal life would be like. I was SUPER naive. I didn't know a single thing. I never looked anything up." Oprah was like... You never researched? I was in a relationship for the same amount of time. I had a year long severe breakdown during that time, not knowing what was wrong with me. I separated from him during that year but kept going back. Finally I ended up staying for another 10 years. So after 23 years it ended by my leaving him for good because he'd done something completely unforgivable. He blamed everyone else. It was my adult son who saw long before I could, he was also severely damaged but very intelligent and insightful. He told me his side of the story and my eyes were opened. Since then I've realised that I had grown up amongst narcissists and though I grew up feeling unhappy and that something wasn't right it wasn't enough for me to see what was wrong. My ex has been out of my life for 20 years but my other family members weren't. In the past 6 years I have stopped seeing them one by one. But although I sometimes am in the moment and can laugh and feel okay it comes back and I feel doomed and depressed. I understand how you feel and hope that things will get better for you if they haven't already. My son says we're survivors, but damaged.

Being in a Narcissistic Abusive marriage, for almost 2 decades...(I've been saying from the first time that I watched they're sit-down interview. That she's a Narcissist)...It was shortly after I found out about the kind of abuse that I had been living through, and what it was. He played the suicide game, while I truly became suicidal...which made me try twice, and was found both in comas, by accident (with someone finding). I still have problems, but I'm getting help, and on medications to help me. NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) is very destructive, to the victims. MM most definitely has NPD, possibly with other forms of personality disorders, too...Harry is a victim of NPD Abuse, with the whole world watching it happen, and the only people who don't see it, are either Narcissists themselves, in a relationship with one, or don't know anything about it. I hope that Harry wakes up soon, and gets out of it...sadly it gets worse with children, and harder to leave, knowing that the children will be used as a weapon, and an easier way to get the victim back (or do more harm). The children are going to be abused by her, too. MM always grabbing his hand, is her showing dominance over him, and if he doesn't say exactly what she wants him to, she squeezes his hand, for Harry to correct what he was saying; to what she wants him to say. NPD, and Narcissism, is finally becoming a Big Topic, now...Finally. ❤ 🙏 ✌

Among all the other things she's done, am I the only one that thinks it's odd how she always clings to him in public and when they attended social engagements? It's just weird and looks a little disturbing. Like he can't go anywhere without her.

Her verbal ab*se wasn't enough, apparently she needed to physically control him as well. There's a whole 15min KZread video somewhere that's all clips of her shoving her way in front of people lol. People in all different countries too. One time she grabbed the back of Harry's suit to pull him aside to step in front of him and after she stepped in front of him she then elbowed her way in front of a woman with a cane 😭. I truly can not imagine a more passive aggressive person

@@xoxoakouto I don’t think that it is simply holding hands either. Just look through all the photographs and videos of them, there isn’t one where she hasn’t got a vicelike grip on him. It’s a form of control and possessiveness . One particular video is of her dragging him away while he was trying to shake the hand of some dignitary. He was stretching out to try and reach him, and still she wouldn’t let him go. If that’s not weird I don’t know what is!

Harry's wife's control of him and his "addiction" to her make them to unpredictable and dangerous to be around the RF. Addicts must acknowledge that they have a problem and seek "real" help. Even more, they must show real signs of improvement; otherwise, they will lash out and hurt those that truly care about them. That hurt can be both verbal as well as physical. My opinion, the RF should keep these two at a far distance for their own mental and physical safety.

Excellent points made here. I think Harry has gotten himself into a situation he really can't get out of. Note that any attempts to corner her are met with the racism card. However, vividly recalled is how popular she was in the beginning. Not one hint of racism was observed. People all over the world were thrilled for them both. This new agenda appears to be very suspect and not at all real. It is painful and pitiful to see Harry behaving like a lap dog. He has totally lost the admirable stature he had before meeting Meghan. It will be interesting to see what the future brings. Because one who seeks to control and dominate, soon grows tired of those who cower and wimp out/bow down to their every whim. And will move on to someone else and try it again. It would also be interesting to hear what her ex-husband has to say. Let's be real: anyone who allows me to push them around very quickly loses my respect. First, I'd never do it, but if such WAS the case, believe me, it would completely turn me off. Poor Harry has totally lost the respect he once had. The more the two of them talk, the more ridiculous they look and sound.
