Something I do in general to prevent viruses is to pause my search and watch history and delete it. That way it can prevent the site data being saved.

Aside from the actual device that’s on the naughty list, is there any potential harm to the WiFi itself? Or other devices on the same WiFi?

You're not going to believe this, but here in the US, internet providers are starting to block porn sites. I thought the US allowed porn viewing, and it was up to the user whether he or she wanted to block it or not. Now, with some internet providers, we don't have that option. They're FORCING us not to watch it. I wonder if a VPN would even work with these internet providers. Edit- to be clear, the internet provider I'm referring to is a local one in my very small town in southeast PA, not one of the more popular ones out there.

most sites you use are able to have access to info such as your IP address, and from that they can find your location. i recommend you get a vpn if your concerned, surfshark is a good one. watch some vids about vpn

I have a question I was using private browser doing something (not porn) and all tabs say names on it like if you search for example “Tom Brady and you wanna got to a different tab and it shows the name on it so I wanted to go to a different tab and one of the tabs names was called “your iPhone has been hack” is that real?

No it’s not real just don’t go back into the tab and remove the tab you should be perfectly fine

yes, you should get a pop up blocker too cuz pop ups are worse, also adblockers dont work all the time

i think the most interesting thing in this video is that stats showed 1/3 of the population visits these porn sites every day.

it's a fake ad that says you have virus

today it told me I got 8 viruses bc I had clicked on the link my friend sent me idk why I did but it’s scaring me that’s why I am watching this. Nothing has happened to my phone yet so I’m hoping it’s fake.

When you see "Virus Detected Warning" in a pop-up and it is not from the security suite that you have on your machine, it is fake. They like you to install the malware in the name of removal tool.

It told me to “install app for free!”, and I didn’t cuz that sounded shady as hell, but I don’t know if there’s still a virus
