Kyle, you have really stepped up your production game! Keep up the great work. I came away impressed and encouraged by D. Lawson's play. He has potential to be beast and a problem for offenses. No bad drops by the WR's was also a huge relief considering everything we heard about drops during fall camp. I also like running the 2 TE set and the potential match up problems that will give defenses when factoring in they will have to account for Milroe's ability to run. I’m paying close attention to the DB injuries this week. On Saturday, we need the DL and OL to flex their muscle. The trenches will be important.

Been watching and listening to a lot of longhers content. Ewers is suspect, especially with the long ball. He does not like contact and I think he will play poorly under pressure. The offense is also susceptible to bunch fronts and artificial pressures from the defense.

Sark is right imo you should prepare not to your opponent but to be a better version of yourself everyday. That’s Saban 101. Of course playing at Bama ain’t nothin like playin Kansas BUT you should prepare the same every week.

I've been saying that Jaylen was bad last year and was looking for someone else to step up. But his play shows he has improved allot. It will be tested vs Texas (not him being an athlete or a strong arm, but his ability to get the right play and protection set to avoid sacks). But WOW. What an interview. This guy is so MATURE. The media tried to bate him on naysayers and such, but he never bit. He just went to playing as a team, doing the things needed to get better, etc. That maturity and his smile, and confidence and dang, the guy is big. Now I'm hoping he proves out vs Texas and we are set at QB. That said, the opportunities that the 2nd string QB had was very good. Saw him going up to the line to call coverages and such and maybe even changed the play once or twice. He looked capable too, during the short viewing window.

With Travis Hunter, I wonder how realistic it is to last a whole season playing 100+ snaps every single week. There are lots of great athletes who play both ways in high school who don’t do that in college, because I imagine it does wear you out physically and mentally. Not to take anything away from Travis, I just hope he doesn’t get hurt.

Every team has to prepare for the next game as it’s the biggest game. If the mentality of the team is to play down to the competition, those teams are going to be the teams that will get upset by some team they could have beaten by 20 points.

MTSU constantly had 7 man boxes & gave different creative looks in terms of run blitzes. Th o line will be fine they still produced over 200 rush yards and were able to convert on 3rd/2nd & shorts especially with multi TE looks. If teams sellout to stop the run like MTSU did then the run game is gonna come in 3&4 yard spurts not long 60 & 70 yard runs because let’s keep it a buck that what most of y’all are basing the “subpar running game” off of.

You right I still think our running game is legit but MTSU knew we wanted to run the ball so they prepared for the best they could imo but our RBs will have long runs this year for sure also it was the 1st game of the season no worries rn with this team

We showed very little against Midd Tenn. No need look for the full package saturday night, bama is pinning their ears back and will put the QB into the bama turf multiple times. No one has seen 40% of what bama can do yet. Saban always plays vanilla against the little teams and still waxes them. Imagine what the full package will be like.
