Daggerwin, I just received a text message from the local sheriffs department. It said, "Be on the lookout for road sign vandals in the area." "This villainous person or persons are guilty of a crime that is punishable by having to use a Rostselmash Nova 330 combine to harvest Field #3 with all proceeds going to the county road sign fund."

FYI, you get the largest yield bonus by spraying weeds before they germinate.

If we keep telling him that, he might catch one of the comments saying it eventually. And no Daggerwin, it's not hard to see where you've been if you do it directly after fertilising.

Daggerwin, if you really want to REALISTIC you need four to 6 large combines 2 or three chaser bins and a fleet of trucks carting the grain to the silos. This can be done in Courseplay with the help of Autodrive; but this takes a lot of setup. You could easily run two combines with Courseplay with One Chaser bin that unloads directly into the Grain Truck (18 wheeler) and then drive the truck yourself. This is the easiest to do and is a lot of fun really. There is nothing like seeing a few big machines working together. Oh, being from TEXAS, the word is Dollars not POUNDS :) Great mini Series and I loved your obital-signs quote.

I love this map/series. Please keep it going. Maybe introduce addons or mods to grow the operation bigger and have multiple machines operating together.

Pretty sure you can get a wider header for sunflowers. But its not one that does corn. It basically only does canola (oilseed) and sunflowers only. Fairly sure they go up to 45ft just like cereal crop header. The header that does corn and sunflower is so small. One of those Capello ones from the base game that works with thebiggest Case IH harvester shoukd also attach to the other brands. I have used it on the New Holland and the Fendt harvesters before.

@Daggerwin the reason your workers are having issues on the fields is because there are collectables. In the grass beside fields collectables are placed and they do have collision on so the worker reads it as a crashable object and thus turns around.

I've never seen sunflowers cut with a corn PICKING header. Sunflowers in Kansas are cut with a regular reel type wheat header, that I've seen. Milo can be cut with either a reel type or corn picker header.

these fields are so massive... harvesting, liming, plowing, fertilizing, replanting, fertilizing again, rolling can take 8 real life hours to get done perfectly... and if you have to stone pick as well... it's mind numbingly massive undertakings.

The workers missing areas unexpectedly is usually because there’s a collectible in that area. There’s many in ditches and near telephone poles.

Second and I just actually got off this map lol and I know how you play but take it from me the unrealistic headers and capacities for that combine are life savers. there is also a workshop in one of the sheds on the main farm as a heads up.

I was just about to mention this. At first I wasn't happy with being unrealistic, but in reality and even in normal gameplay, teams of people would be tackling one field at a time. Trucks, tractors and pickups all frantically running around to get everything done on time. Kind of need the unrealism as a solo player.

  • @shanechase8979

    @shanechase8979

@klonkimo very much so but on a sever you can have someone on the combine, someone in a tractor with a chaser bin, and someone in a semi hauling away from the field to the bin site or to the sell point just like you would in real life.

@@shanechase8979right, that's my point. Daggerwin did that on Attingham Park and that was one of my favorite series, but from a KZreadr perspective it was a bit awkward at times. I think it works better as a livestream, but Dag has said his Internet is not the best as he lives in the country.

TBH might as well store everything in the yard because unless a really bad storm is coming it's a massive hassle to get everything into the shed and usually something always ends up in the way of the thing you need next. my neighbor stores his semis outside until the snow starts to fall

Just remember; the fender is the bumper, the wing is the fender, the bonnet is the hood, the hood is the roof, the boot is the trunk, the areal is the antenna, petrol is gas and it comes in gallons and not liters, and you pay in dollars and not pounds. Other than that there is not much difference...🤣

One of my favorite British terms is "shooting brake". I read that term a few times and really scratched my head over it. WTF is a shooting brake? I mean, I even had some context, it is obviously a vehicle...I finally gave in and looked it up. Not sure the term is used much anymore, especially as we no longer have shooting brakes as it has gone to the SUV....

@Daggerwin here is a bit of info if you are interested. Texas state highways are a network of highways owned and maintained by the U.S. state of Texas. The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is the state agency responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the system.

Honestly, I love watching Dag bc he’s funny, but he’s not the person to ask for advice about fs22. This series has proved that. He doesn’t know much about most of the game mechanics. I personally recommend planting oats and sorghum for the grain mill to make flour for the bakery to make bread. That’s a good starting point. That and chickens are a cheap way to make money

You really need to be using the unrealistic versions of the mods you're using. It's a mini series, it's supposed to be fun and something you don't normally do..... no reason to take twice or three times as long harvesting fields when you could just for once, use the unrealistic mods at hand. At this size, you really can't keep up without it, makes the videos less enjoyable bc you're always running around like a Chicken with your head cut off. You're so against the mods given to you on the mod hub, it drives me nuts. Still watch you every day though regardless. But damn
