Today we tackle the hot debate on if OG Monsta tech is better than their latest M2 tech from 2022. We have 2 Torches to swing, one OG and one from 2022, both with roughly the same amount of swings on them, both 2500 handle, and 25oz midload. Which bat will come out on top?
We use ASA game balls for today's review, in addition to tee work PLUS Live Pitch, to give the best combination of scenarios to review this new bat!

Great video!!definitely something I’ve wondered is if the ogs are that much better or if it’s scarcity that makes them crazy priced and this shows what I’ve noticed is the new bats are just as good!!

Been swinging OG SRV5s and SRV4s [27oz] from a decade or so ago - picked up 3500 M2 Sinister DBOC 25oz [100 cuts] and Anarchy No Name 26oz [500-700 cuts] you guys swinging M2 25ozs here what are you changing in your timing, stance in the box, etc to get things right w/ the lighter sticks?

We really only swing the 25-26’s, that’s what we consider normal, jumping up to 27’s we notice a slower swing. Reverse engineering that, you’d probably want to wait back just a little bit more on the ball knowing your swing speed is going to be faster. It’s all about the reps and feeling comfortable with the weight, live BP would be best to get your timing down as the ball is coming in!

Swinging for line drives creates the highest exit velocity. I don’t see anything wrong with his swing.
