Nilou team doesn't feel any more restrictive to me than Ayaka Freeze or Ganyu Melt. It's just team comp that works and we have plenty of characters to choose from. Even with Barbara, Collei, and DMC Nilou's team is great. But if you don't have Nahida yet, I definitely recommend going for Nahida first.

Players are hung up about it cause Nilou's team comp restriction is in written down as her passive, but it's no different for majority of meta comps. Her team is so fun to play, and that what matters. The fact that her team is so chaotic is just a bonus.

but morgana perma freeze was also one of the most popular teams in the game (ganyu, mona, diona, venti). so she has 2 solid but different team options, whereas ayaka and nilou really just have one each.

You can use both yaoyao and Barbara as f2p it would give a lot on field healing along with 2 insane healing bursts not to mention if you somehow get c6 Barbara she can even revive one of your character if you die.

As a proud double crowned Nilou haver, I say if you have Nahida and like bloom/want to try it, then definitely get Nilou! Shes also just really pretty and fun to use :D

@@reynerestebanb.h4014 I have Kazuha at 9-10-9, and I use his EM build 95% of the time. Sometimes, you just want to change how you play a character you like, especially if theyre fun to use. I can see a reason why they have Nilou double crowned other than just liking their character a lot.

I think her value really depends on who you have on your account. If you don’t have a way to consistently apply dendro (Nahida, Alhaitham) or a reliable way to heal from the self damage (Kokomi, Yaoyao) you might have a different experience than those who do. Also while you don’t necessarily need to worry about spending resources on leveling talents, you will want everyone on the team raised to lvl 90 which can be pretty expensive. *Edit: also farming EM artifacts for her teammates can be a massive pain if you don’t already have some EM pieces for Gilded or Deepwood depending on your artifact luck because the rng rates for EM mainstats are incredibly low.

She's pretty good with 4 stars teammates, having other dendro/hydro 5 stars just makes her so much better. Kinda like ayaka where she's pretty good with Diona/rosaria/xingqiu etc. but getting kokomi and shenhe turns her into a great unit.

The only powerboost to add in your Nilou team is Nahida. The rest is just YaoYao and Barbara.

If we really consider every resin spent, her team is not really expensive compared to other Crit reliant characters.

To those who want both Nahida and Nilou. Just go for Nahida first just in case, trust me you'll thank yourself later.

@@niravparekh8337 did you pull nahida? if not then in my opinion nahida will be a very valuable addition to your account, she is by far the best dendro char and can fit into any team, just like yelan, i already pulled for her and got her, shes amazing and she also makes collecting things easier, but dont be forced to pull for meta, i also pulled nahida because shes my fav archon

Nilou has always been Worth it lololol but I'm glad the people who didn't have a chance to pull for her will get a chance to do so again. The deadly blooms while she dances around is super satisfying

I am pulling for Nilou because she’s a great match with Nahida since I’m a Nahida main I wanna make her damage as high as possible

Would certainly like to see why Collei and Nilou make a good combo. Been hearing a lot of flak about Collei giving her some light would warm my heart.

I'm planning to go for Nilou this patch and as it happens, I was also looking for an excuse to finally build Collei. So here's my vote for the Collei video! 😊

you can think nilou works almost exactly like shenhe niche in overall teamcomps but OP in a niche teamcomp

Nahida works with more teams. But many once you have made a super bloom nilou team and just nuke a floor of abyss with it, it does have an appeal that is hard to pass up even if its very limited team type.

alhaitham (with more focus on EM instead of atk) with xinqiu is amazing in nilou teams if you don't have nahida. That's what I've been using and it even works very well in single target

Kaveh seems to have a bloom based kit too! So im gonna pull for Nilou to use her with Kaveh! They both look really fun :D

I would be carefull with pulling for Nilou if your planning playing her with Kaveh. I dont know for sure, but it could be that Nilou´s Bountiful Cores dont work with Kaveh. Like it was with Raiden and Beidou.

Yeah I would like to see that Collei video on her usage in Nilou Bloom teams. I been thinking lately of putting Collei in one since she is f2p and seems to provide a ton of dendro with her skill and burst.

Great video and guide as always! I'm planning on rolling for Nilou and hoping I win the 50/50. If I do... awesome! Then I'll try for the key sword. I already have Nahida, so if I lose the 50/50 on the key sword and get Nahida's weapon, I won't be upset! ...now I just really hope I win the 50/50!

I play Nilou team with Yaoyao too. Her ES heal so much, and her burst can heal all of her team. It's really satisfying when I use Yelan burst, then Yaoyao burst so there will be a lot of explosion and heal 😂😂😂

Having her since first banner, it was absolutely worth it, even tho I didn’t used her much since I don’t have kokomi and didn’t want to buils Barbara. But yaoyao safed me :)

I would like to know more about that Collei build. I'm also having trouble understanding what stats we should be looking for in the Deepwood set to maximize Nilou's bloom damage.

I wonder if there'll be another updated review with Baizhu in mind. I feel like that with Nilou might be awesome.

Baizhu will probably actually not be good with Nilou, because in his burst state he creates shields for his team, and with Nilou's bountiful cores, you actually want to take damage from them in order to get the huge EM buff from one of her passives, where it is required you take damage from her cores to get it. Having a shield kind of makes that useless. Kaveh on the other hand will be amazing with her because he heals himself when he takes damage from the cores, and his elemental skill allows him to make all the cores explode around him at once. :3

@@starlette7820 his shield is as strong as a crystalized shield iirc, i think you’d still take damage nevertheless, the shield is just a glorified resist to interrupt. Kaveh tho, why would his instant bloom be useful on a team where the blooms are already instant anyway? His self heal is nice tho.

@@starlette7820 u can get damaged with Baizhu’s shield which absorption meant to deal with the amount of damage the core inflicts, plus once the shield breaks, not only it heals your active character, his passive buffs as well.

@@Eclin I mean that's fair but i still dont think he'll be that great, Baizhu's dendro application is looking to not be that great, so Nahida and even YaoYao I feel will outperform him in every way. and yeah the instant core explosion isnt that useful with Nilou, but the self heal is great and basically makes any kind of shield kind of unnecessary. I planned on using Xingqiu in my bloom team with nilou and kaveh, so i have resistance interrupt and more healing there, so Baizhu is kind of unnecessary for me personally.

If you have her with Nahida to use hyperbloom if she like, they’re the best in AoE and single target

With Kaveh she'll be really good due to him healing a bit from cores

She's my first Sumeru 5 star character. When the Sumeru charcters was leaked, she caught my eye and I knew I had to save for her. So I skipped Tighnari and Cyno(despite the hype for him back then) to save for Nilou and it was really worth it. I ignored all those negative comments about her team restriction since Im pulling just because I liked her design anyway, Im very happy she ended up strong in terms of meta. She's very easy to build and you dont need to level up her talents but I triple crowed mine anyways since she's one of my favorite character ❤

show us some collei love please, i think she is way too underappreciated, i have niliou, collei, lumine and barbara build for the abyss and they never failed me, amazing and economic team for ftp players, all of them can use forged 4 star weapons and only need to farm for em and hp stats wich is super easy

I think kaveh and/or Beizhu in the next half of 3.6 could be insane for Nilou Too. Both have Dendro infused normals and especially kaveh Looks Like a amazing Support for her

I'd say that nahida is the best option bewteen the two of them, since nilou works mostly on the specific team of bloom, which is hard to get big value from if you aren't fighting groups of enemys

I pulled the key of khaj nisut on weapon banner while going for nahida’s weapon so now im seriously considering pulling nilou (i have enough wishes, but i’d been saving them for baizhu)

I skipped her before, but I'm determined to get her this time because her kit is unique and interesting.

Ever since her first run, I really wanted her, but with Nahida around the corner, I had to skip her for guaranteed Nahida, now I have a guaranteed Nilou, and I'm super excited about getting her on Wednesday!!

My Nahida is currently C1 cus I got lucky on her release so now I'm guaranteed C2, tho the problem is I don't have any savings yet lol (I'm 45-50 wishes short). Yes she is worth it. Her with Nahida and Yelan. Mark with Nahida, water wall with Nilou then dash through enemies with Yelan, instant kill

when baizhu arrives i will have 2 shield teams on the abyss. which is entirely needed for the bloom team of nahida nilou and barbara or kokomi if you have it.

Bloom + Frozen is my favorite thing, I have her on alt account with Hu Tao and Her bestie Yae Miko.

I skipped Nilou 1st time around because my only healer was Barbara (who I don't have built). I do have C2 Nahida (also C0 Alhaitham) and, of course, YaoYao. I also have Nilou's Key sword that I got when pulling for whatever else was on that banner. I hadn't planned to pull for her, but I have 2 key elements for her and kind of feel like I should. I had been saving to get more constellations on either Nahida or ALhaitham (because I like them, not for meta) and the rest to go towards saving for hydro archon. What say you people? Continue with original plan or try to get Nilou? (I have enough saved to get the 5 star I want.)

I'm at 40 wishes right now from getting a guaranteed so I'm really gonna wish for the next banners but I'm still in doubt if I should pull for Nilou or getting a Nahida C1. I mean, I can finish abyss with 36 stars (with a lot of difficulties though) and recently Nahida is being extremely useful for attacking at long distances along with my Yelan (Hate Wenut btw). But I also love bloom reaction and I already started farming Nilou's Boss to gather her materials but I'm still not sure if I should pull her considering her help in the Abyss with folks like Wenut.

Another thing to keep in mind is kaveh is coming right after nilou so if you don't have nahida Kaveh is a great dendro driver on nilou's bloom team just have him and maybe dmc and one other hydro character and your team is good to go I already have kokomi as well so I'm really wanting to get nilou

My goal is to get all the archons so im getting Nahida now and get Nilou later since she is pretty niche.

im definitly summoning. already have nahida and dont care for phase 2 and in the market for a hydro dps character.

She may have a restrictive playstyle, but it's a playstyle that freaking slaps. It's one of my favorite playstyles and it's been one of my most successful, if not my most successful team comps in the abyss.

Still waiting for more better dendro characters who can either be specializing on nilou bloom or a good enough substitute to burgeon/hyperbloom to nahida, because its really hard for me lately to remove nahida from hyperbloom team. Also abyss has been extremely annoying lately always putting at least one single target focused chamber on either or both halves (boss type or multiwave large enemies) needing a team thats good both on st and aoe, though not saying nilous useless on st but i'd rather have another team thats comfortable on both scenarios without any issues.

Mm very informative and useful video! I managed to snag Nahida + her weapon and a C6 Yaoyao, but honestly I have 0 interest in Nilou - nothing really against her gameplay, but her character seemed so inane during her story quest and during the interactions with her in the archon quest. The only memorable part was that NPC who mentioned touching grass ... Glad her banner is before Baizhu/Kaveh so she's an easy skip

For blooms teams, should I use 2pc tenacity and hod, or 2pc tenacity and wanderers??

I already have nilou and nahida. Both on C0 Really want to get her signature weapon but already have the green lamp. Hopefully get lucky and got her weapon early (because I'm already broke when chasing misplitter 😂)

I love her character design so much but I really want Baizhu so i figured I'd just skip her banner.. but my gambling addiction took over and I made a few ten pulls.. got her at 49 pity and I still have more than 60 wishes left. happy happy happy :')

I don't have any hydro characters except xingqui and barbara. Xingui is occupied in raiden national and since Barbara doesn't provide enough hydro application, I also didn't feel like building my Dendro units. I have kaeya, rosaria and Kazuha built so I was looking for a freeze team but again, I lack a hydro dps. I skipped nahida first to save for childe and lost my 50-50, skipped ayato because of raiden, couldn't pull kokomi cuz not enough pulls, lost 50-50 on yelan's banner, and now I'm again at this point whether I should pull for Nilou or wait for Childe/Focalors.

I just got done beating Wenut on the abyss full stars clear with Nilou bloom, now I feel like if she can even beat a single target boss that tanky, she can plow everything from now onwards.

I'm gonna guess the Toukabou Shigure (the umbrella sword) won't increase her bloom damage or at least an ignorable amount when compared with EM swords?

She is worth it, especially if you have nahida, her superbloom teams and her own kit, she's one of the most broken and f2p friendly units

I think recent abyss dont need nilou, I play raiden national on team 1. Nahida+yae+barbara on team 2. Its still work since nahida relase 😅. And raiden national works since raiden relase. But i still want nilou, for my bloom team. Good luck for ur pull thugh.

I have Khaj-Nisut, nahida c2, guaranteed pity and currently 70 pulls saved up before her run. But I want baizhu so baaaaaaaad, with the new region we'll get tons of primos, but I'm concerned I won't get him

The weird thing is Nilou isn't my problem since I got the primogems and Nahida so should I go for Baizhu or stop when I get Kavah?

Question, i have rate ON in next weapon banner, as i have both nilou and nahida, im planning to pull on weapon banner, which is better do you guys think whose weapon i should go for? Nilou's or Nahida's?

Does Kaveh's passive talent also negate Bountiful Core explosions?

I got nilou out of nowhere at 10 pity and it was my third consecutive 50/50 win so I was incredibly surprised. I wasn't expecting her so I'm trying to see how I can use her now lol I got Nahida from her first run and I also have Alhaitham so I'll use them with her 😅

I have Nilou and I don't even use her for bloom team lol. It's crazy to me how she deals decent dmg despite her passive being restrictive. With r5 iron sting, I can deal 200k on her ult (combined), and casual 70k - 80k (got lucky and have her at c1) on the last hit of her E (this is vape btw).

I would go for Nilou, but i have my artifacts/talent books ready for Wanderer (if i want to pull) so 😅 Probably next rerun then, sorry Nilou. 😅

any theories on how kaveh can interact with nilou cores?

I'm struggling to decide who should I pull for, I currently already have Nilou and Nahida at C0 but idk whether I should try to pull Nahida's C2 or Nilou's weapon. I'm currently struggling since I'm only at a pity 40 rate off with 55 fates. I don't have enough fate for Weapon and c2 Nahida but I really like both of them a lot.
