Is NASA Lying About The Flat Earth?

Around the year 240 BC, a Greek mathematician named Eratosthenes came forward with a bold claim: he had determined the circumference of the Earth. But it wasn't bold because he claimed the Earth was round - they knew that already. It was bold because it contradicted an earlier measurement given by the legendary philosopher Aristotle. And Aristotle wasn't bold to proclaim a spherical earth; he'd learned that from someone else. With that in mind, the next question becomes "how did flat earth theory come back after all these years, and do their arguments have any merit?" Welcome back to The Lore Lodge...

Of course it's only my option which very much can be wrong or disproven which evryone is entitled to an opinion with out an argument. I just wanted to say my opinion which as a believer in scripture there is evidence of how the structure of the earth is and times and seasons and sun moon and stars can be used for time. Now to the flat part. There is a verse that talks about how it's God's foot stool which yes that's a metaphor form of speech. But then there is also the book of hanok (Enoch) if u believe in some non Canon scripture. I only use Enoch because in my studies to make long story short is credible because it's back up but biblical scripture as well but that's a "denomination" debate for another time. What I'm saying is it prob isn't necessarily round but prob not like flat either because also thier is Seoul (hell) aka under the earth that doesn't mean round. Prob depth. 😂 idk man but I would say if u believe In the father and kept his commands I'm sure he won't send u to hell for not being on one side or another but all I say is read the word and it is clear. Earlier lore said logical kept in mind the father is supernatural to show his power and that he kepts the world in balance. Anyway I talked to much just wanted to try and leave a productive comment. 😅

Ignoring the old theories, the modern iteration is a CIA black op, meant to make Anti-Globalists look stupid. It begins with CERN and Non-Disclosure Agreements. Fruit Loops was in fact called Fruit Loops when I was a child. That changed after California sued the Fruit Loops Brand for False Advertisement. Records of this lawsuit still do exist, but you can't read the details due to the NDA. Mandella Effect and Flat Earth started at the same time. Points you should add. 1. The southern cross constellation can only be seen from the southern hemisphere. And can be seen from every southern nation at the same time i.e. Australia, Argentina, south Africa. 2. Flights are available to fly to the south pole from Australia. 3. Corners of the earth is a reference to the exact location where Noah divided the land to his kids. Specifically a location where two rivers actually cross in Arabia. The Euphrates and some other river. 4. Logically, you should be able to see the sun / moon using a really powerful telescope at anytime of night. 5. Just because the moon landing didn't happen until after 2000 doesn't mean we should trade one lie for another lie. (See negative images of the official landing or see the astronauts admitting it before they died. 6. A ring of fire eclipse which occurred in America late 2023 shows the sun being larger than the moon. However, 7 months later a total eclipse showed that the moon is larger than the sun.

I once had a pastor who did a lesson “proving” that a zombie apocalypse was coming using only Bible verses… he of course didn’t believe this, and the lesson was just that you can make the Bible prove anything you want if you remove enough context. If it was flat the closer to the center you got the more it would feel like an infinite incline due to how the gravity would be concentrated in the center but there's dozens of experiments and theories disproving it as a possibility, it's literally and physically impossible. Not only that, but if the earth was flat, then 3 dimensional wouldn't exist, flat literally means 2 dimensional as in people have length, width and height wouldn't exist. Or what about the sun, is the sun flat too? If not, why would earth be flat but not the sun? How about the hundreds of mathematical calculations proving that a flat world would be incable of retaining a breathable atmosphere? Or that volcanoes would be literally impossible? Are people so fucking dumb that they beleive flat earth is possible and that governments have the technology of Literal God to hide the existence of flat earth? I'm all for governments being corrupt and having tech we don't know about but tech at that level would break reality in two.

The Greek's calculated the circumference of the globe to be 39,300km or 41,675km, depending on what source you look at. Compare that to the actual circumference 40,075km, and you can see they actually could do it fairly accurately, even between 276-194 BC ( I couldn't find a date on when Eratosthenes of Cyrene took the measurements, so that is his lifespan). Mind you this was done by observing the shadows that formed from a stick placed perpendicular to the ground.

How does celestial navigation work on a globe? You need a flat baseline to measure an angle to the celestial object. The Ground position for the celestial object directly beneath the object has a 90 degree angle to the observer. We all learned pythagoras theorem at school, you need a flat baseline for the math. This baseline can be thousands of miles, and you repeat this for several celestial objects, and then you draw a circle of equal altitude. Sorry dude, your globe is dead. Rest in piss.

One of the middle schools had leased a classroom to a group that called themselves the “Flats” I entered the classroom and worked on taking apart the old computer for the teacher in the corner of the room while they had a meeting going. As I was finishing up they took a break and a woman about my age came over and asked me for my opinion of what they were saying. I explained something to the extent of “I hadn’t heard that much/hadn’t paid attention.” She then proceeded to tell me that the only thing I needed to know was that God would never make earth into such an imperfect shape as a sphere. I still sometimes lay awake in bed at night thinking about that. (No joke this really happened.)

Laying out the history of this really puts into perspective the timeline of things. Like, every time I hear it I always get surprised by people finding out the earth isn't flat before like, 1500 (probably confusing it with heliocentrism in my mind). People without running water or electricity, before even Christianity or the Roman Empire, they knew the earth was a sphere. They did the math, and just looking at the facts and numbers came to the conclusion that the earth must be round despite what their eyes may say. And now we have all that math, telescopes that clearly show other planets being round, the ability to FLY, ways to take pictures from SPACE, and people STILL say it's all bogus. It boggles the mind.

Let's start with why we can't see the curvature of the Earth: 1. **Visual Limitations:** Even though the Earth is a sphere, its enormous size means that the curvature is very subtle. At eye level, the horizon appears flat due to the limited field of view of the human eye. It's like trying to detect a small bump on a large smooth surface from a distance. 2. **Altitude Perspective:** However, as you gain altitude, such as when flying in an airplane or observing from a high mountain, you can start to see the curvature. Astronauts in space can clearly see the Earth's curvature because they're far enough away from its surface. Now, let's discuss why we don't feel the Earth spinning: 1. **Constant Rotation:** The Earth spins at a nearly constant rate of about 1,000 miles per hour (1,600 kilometers per hour) at the equator. However, this rotation is incredibly smooth and steady, much like the motion of a smoothly rotating object. We don't feel the Earth spinning because we're all moving at the same speed along with it. 2. **Inertia:** Objects in motion tend to stay in motion unless acted upon by an external force, according to Newton's First Law of Motion. We, along with the atmosphere and everything else on Earth, are already moving with the planet's rotation. So, we don't feel the spin because we're in a state of inertia relative to the Earth's rotation. These scientific principles, supported by observations and experiments, explain why we can't directly sense the curvature of the Earth or feel its rotation.

The thing about those ancient sources is they're symbolic. They're not meant to be taken literally. The Chinese thing about the earth being a square and the heavens being a sphere, for example, is about the balance between yin and yang, not about the physical shape of literal objects. The point being that ancient supposed flat earth models inevitably have more to do with theology than anything the modern world calls science. Ironically, Sputnik was more or less the realization of that impossible airship Shenton came up with - something flying high enough to be unaffected by Earth's atmosphere and drift through the vacuum of space.

If we do not understand why they would be doing it then it simply means we do not understand their objectives, and need to become wise in the ways serpents are wise while yet remaining harmless as doves. Inquiring with an honest desire to understand is the beginning of wisdom. Everyone can know. But one needs to want to see. I realize this can be infuriating to those who don't see, but such a response achieves nothing of value. The answer is always, ALWAYS to daily take a posture of; "Teach me, Lord. Help me to see. Let me be deemed a fool for rightly acknowledging what You have declared and what You reveal. I submit my understanding to You". And even with that posture, we can't forcibly grasp an understanding of the truth. God will reveal it if/when He chooses, and we must be at peace at not being able to subjugate the truth for our own purposes. Saying that everyone will know suggests that we can control access to the truth. This is not the case. But we are promised that He will answer those who seek/knock/ask. Peace!

The Earth is an oblate sphere kind of like an Eminem, not the rapper, the candy. This is what Google says this is what Siri says. This is what libraries say. It's then in the middle and that on the edges. No one ever said it's flat like a piece of paper. Only a dumb a** would think it's flat like a piece of paper but it's not around. Perfect ball like they show us from out in space

Yeah, who filmed buck rodgers as he went down the ladder and uttered the mind controllers slogan „a small step….“ the rest has been engraved in your subconscious so you can’t even see you’ve been duped.

You forgot to mention India - the Hindu scriptures from late Vedic period (1500-1000 BCE) state that the earth was round.

I saw a video once of a guy responding to flat earthers, and the flat earthers 'proved' how 'it works' first by showing an animation of how they think day/night happens, and _minutes_ later smugly showed an animation of how they think seasons happen, and it utterly contradicted the day/night animation. It'd be absolutely impossible for both to happen at the same time. But _they_ didnt notice that. Its like these guys dont understand that their answers have to work together, they cant just come up with whatever they can for each question.

I understand your frustration. But I think that's EXACTLY the point of the flat earth hypothesis. To send those of us who value science, reason and rationality into a fit!!! It's total nonsense, of course, meant to gaslight us all.
