Really!! Sheiding the corrupt politician who has looted the exchequer. For example, a recent one was convicted Ponmodi Ex Minister in DMK and Senthil Balaji again ex minister locked in jail for years. These guys are talking about bail for the corrupt, which is where these guys loot exchequer indirectly from corrupt politicians.

Please understand that here I have appreciated the talk on core technical issues of Indian penal code sections.....not supporting corrupt politicians at.They all should be behind the bar. But law, police system & court should apply law properly.Thiz is what is under scrutiny, which is required for a good democracy to survive.

I had a colleague at work who would sometimes take leave and go to High Court and sit only to watch proceedings in the Court. He would attend mostly when Top Judges were on the bench and ofcourse top lawyers. At that time Mr. Sonak now.Judge was a High Court Lawyer and his arguments were worth hearing.

The whole objective of Nyaya Samhita seems to be self preservation of the Govt . and to stamp out any opinions other than Govt’s own rather than simplify the laws for the benefit of the citizen .

Thankyou so much Kapil sir, Mukul & Singhvi Sir for raising shortcomings of some of Indian penal code sections..when applied by police. Further, Court's attitude towards bail matter..i.e not granting bail..by trial & High courts. You also rightly raised in appropriate application of section 120B of IPC where in court should see that application of 120B passes some litmus test to show its correct application etc.
