I struggled with pornography/masturbation for 8-12 years the Lord Jesus set me free in 2020 and ive been clean for almost two years now. Not only is the temptation weak but the desire is Gone. And I know that's the Lord Jesus Christ.

I stopped in January or February 2021, a few weeks after finding Jesus. I didn't even have scriptures to justify quitting, but I just felt such strong conviction-- it felt like a million of God's eyes were on me and I just had to stop. The first 3ish months were the worst, as demons made themselves known and made me feel supernaturally turned on, but God held me together, and I'm happy to say that I haven't slipped up once due to the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord!

Man, when I first truly came to the Lord, I tried to find all kinds of loopholes for masturbation to not be a sin. In the end I just had to give it to the God and he delivered me from that desire.

Absolutely. As a young single man for a long time I would try and rationalize it like "oh I'm young, my hormones are out of control" or "well at least I don't use porn". But that doesn't matter, there are no excuses. Impure thoughts causing you to lust is definetly sin and through the power of God I can quit masturbation.

Of course its a sin to master bate , if your a born again christain man or woman and dont feel guilty your in trouble, more importantly if you dont feel convicted by the Holy Spirit have you quenched the Holy Spirit and ended up with a hardened heart, if so you need to get on your knees in wholehearted repentance for time is running out.

Roughly 3 and a half months free of porn and masturbation and It feels good to finally be free of that awful addiction and the desire to always want to do it every night. Through the Grace of God revealed in The Holy Son I have been freed, Amen and praise The Lord!

@@Matthew.._ Not by my own willpower or self control but by the Grace of God through Jesus Christ. I became born again around the time when I was still in the addiction. After praying at my bedside I called upon His name and He began a work in me that is still in it's process today. (Regeneration). I can easily resist because I really felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit at even the thought of committing that act and even thinking of the clad women and videos. This is my experience and it can be different for others, keep praying brother 🙏

Great video. A subject a lot of people won't talk about. You said exactly how I was thinking, you can't do that without lusting in your heart and mind. It becomes an addiction for a lot of people. At one point in my life, I worked at one of the nation's largest porn stores and you wouldn't believe how much people will spend on it. One customer spent at least 1000.00 every week year in and year out. And it's not just men. (No, I don't work there anymore and wouldn't recommend the job to a dog) Better to marry than to burn!!!

Masturbation has to be dealt with from the roots. These things are deep rooted in one's soul, and if they roots aren't destroyed it keeps on popping up. Titus 2:11 says that the Grace of God that offers salvation has appeared to all men teaching us to say no to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self-controlled lives,upright lives in this present age. Take advantage of the Grace of God which is available to you at all times. God's Grace gives you the ability to rise over this desires, it did same for me. You also have to desist from the things that feed lust, whether it's movies,music, conversations, friends etc...failure to do this will result in futile efforts. I pray that God will shower His Grace on you and that the eyes of your understanding will be enlightened that you will see and hear and be willing to do His will.

Read all of Romans 7, although it's a little hard to understand (as Peter said Paul's writings are!). But here's part of it. Paul is talking about saved people, and himself (the apostle Paul!). Romans 7:18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, *but sin that dwelleth in me*.* (* "sin which dwelleth in me": the old nature!) 21 ¶I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but *with the flesh** the law of sin. * Flesh: Paul _always_ means the sin nature when he says "flesh", not the physical body!

Most men struggle with this at some point. I prayed for help. Next time I was tempted a Bible verse sprung into my mind and it has cured the temptation. “And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” I happen to be right handed, and the desire to sin leaves after I say that verse out loud.

Always issues that are problematic and which Pastors don't seem to have courage to address. Lord Jesus make us holy. help us. Deliver us.

Most of you young Christians need to know this as God taught me these three biblical principles. 1) The Bible condemns in that which it approves by intent. 2) Anything that doesn't draw one closer to God pushes them away. 3) Asking is is this or that sin is sometimes asking the wrong question. The right question is to ask how can I best glorify God and that is true spiritual maturity. If goes to the spirit of the law in the love for the truth through the mind of Christ by the Holy Spirit. Generally stay away from the cliff as the lemmings go off the cliff together. Don't be a lemming. I have researched this subject among many others. All I know is that God told me not to do it very strong as it would be sin for me and that's enough for me. And there is the thing that if your eye or hand causes you to sin cut it off metaphorically. Because getting into heaven is actually pretty easy if the person doesn't try to drag that one sin they won't let go because heavens gates are too small to fit through in a sense because you cannot serve two masters, watch out for doublemindedness in that. I know I'm going to heaven because of what God has done in my life and because of Christ and I'm going to make sure I get there with a reward. You cannot lose your salvation but you can lose rewards with like certain sins. For a time I could feel the Holy Spirit on my head when I didn't do this as he liked that I could tell. And this sin will bring you misery with invisible chains and the Satan wants you to keep doing the same sin over and over again to warp numb your conscience to the point where you can't get conviction and you beg God for a twinge in your heart to feel as the Devil acuses you so you can't sleep as it says in Revelation he acuses the brethren day and night so you may even relax but not rest in God, or get a critical spirit or depressed. In this fight the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit are going to be key. Man tries to fight against the flesh with flesh but only by the spirit will you win. In the victorian era this was especially true with all of their religious evil. They forced circumcision on boys to try to stop this and it doesn't and Circumsion is unbiblical, an sinful evil mutilation against boys. As the practice changed from what God originally commanded when you look at the Hebrew word Milah Circ which ceased in Christ and went out with animal sacrifice and didn't cut off the whole prepuce organ VS Peri'ah Circ -By evil man influenced the Devil- equivalent to the modern practice what Paul called the mutilation Phil 3:2 as God made everything very good Gen 1:31 and put everything in it's place 1 Cor 12:18. They actually take the foreskins of neonates and grind them up and use the residual stem cells to make skin regeneration creams for rich and elderly people and it's SATANIC you can look it up of course Oprah Winfrey was sponsoring it and she is going to the Lake of Fire. One of the only good website found on this issue that approaches it from a biblical perspective is littleimages.org. But most Christians in America are dumb and don't realize that they commit this sin in ignorance but to anyone reading this should you do it without sufficient cause it would be a brazen sin. Don't trust doctors and be vigilant they make money from doing unnecessary surgeries and money is a root of all kinds of evil. Hopefully other smart Christians will learn these lessons before later in life as there a silent invisible war being waged against mankind by Satan.

Masturbation isn't in the bible and no where is it even mentioned. I asked a number of well known pastors about this topic when I was young and they all agreed it wasn't biblical but it shouldn't be practiced. There are many things that are controversial this being one of them. I'm a firm believer that anything like this if the Holy Spirit convicts you of it then fine. I'm not condoning it but my advice is take it to the Lord!

What we fail to understand when we masturbate is that your thoughts and desires are the target of the bodies' affection and that there is no one physically there with you, so therfore our minds and bodies are in agreement and we truly are having sex with ourselves and truly sinning against our own selves.

I've mistreated without thinking about anyone, I didn't know it was related to thoughts about someone, but I used to do it when I was an early teen, like the feeling but had no idea it was sexual until I read that it was, in a book. I haven't felt sexual attraction towards anyone. I though people did it for the sensation, or just to touch that part. I had no idea it was related to wanting to do it with another person.

Yes it's a sin you have to try to abstain from falling into the trap from the enemy its a constant battle but trust and pray that God will help you overcome this issue for the flesh is in a constant battle with the spirit in Jesus name Amen✌️

The bible does not state that masturbation is a sin; rather it states that lust is a sin. If one masturbates with lustful thoughts then it is the lustful thoughts that are sinful not the act of masturbation itself. Sexual immorality refers to either physical or imaginative sex (not masturbation) between a single person who is NOT your spouse OR one who is someone else's spouse. It also refers to having sex with animals; basically sexual immorality is what is defined in the Old & New Testament as a sexual sin. Sex is always performed by two or more persons with each other OR a person or persons with an animal whether that act is physical or imaginative. My advise is that rather than branding it as a sin (which is what religion does), it is a personal matter between one and God. We all differ in our spiritual maturity before God. If your conscience does not condemn you, then you are well before God. Otherwise, you should not masturbate.

And further, unmarried people having sex is not adultery. It is still sexual immorality as it is sex outside of marriage. But adultery is specifically a violation of the marriage bed from one or both spouses and someone outside the marriage. This is evident by the use of the word adultery but also by Exodus 22:16-17. When Jesus says if you look with lust you’ve already committed adultry in your heart, the word woman is an incorrect interpretation, it should have been translated as wife and it would have been understood that way given the context of what Jesus was talking about, the old testament law. Lust is desiring something that doesn’t belong to you or something that is sinful. Having sexual desire for women is not sinful, its the nature God has given us. One could even argue that having sexual thoughts about a married person isn’t necessarily lust because intent is a factor. An example, you can admire your neighbor house, family, and car. You can enjoy looking at his stuff, but that isn’t a sin. It is a sin if you covet his stuff, you desire it so much you would try and steal it or otherwise kill him for it. The covetous desire is lust. Admiration is just admiration. Of course to think about someone who is married sexually is no doubt temptation which you should reasonably stay away from. As far as masterbation goes, it is mentioned in the Bible as God had rules for the Israelites about emissions men no could have in the night. These rules though were about God not wanting to see stuff not about morality. Men had emissions of course because they were dreaming of having sex and their bodies masterbaited for them. Of course one could argue that they didnt conciously do it which means its not a sin. But i would refer to the previous argument stated. Of course it is wrong to watch porn for many reasons. Also heres an argument against it. Although it might not be a sin, it may not be helpful. Part of sex is to form a bond with your partner, if you have no partner then what are you training yourself to do? We should focus on pleasing our partner during sex and not soully feeling good ourselves

They’re having sex with each other, with each other’s knowledge, and with each other’s encouragement. They’re just doing it remotely. Two risks: 1. It could create habits and addiction that easily spiral out of control. 2. As common as it is for accounts to get hacked or phones stolen (or “borrowed”), they’re creating severe privacy risks for themselves.

That's why Lord God gave you a bible, so you can read it Yourself and the holy Spirit to guide you to the right conviction for EACH person individually. There is no one size fits all kind a preaching. And that's why certain things are left outside of scriptures.

Give it all to God. Pray for desire for God to take away your lustful thoughts. Replace your lustful thoughts for righteous and holy thoughts of Him. I surely be praying who ever is struggling.

Nothing is mentioned about widows and widowers who are not into porn and their thoughts are only their departed spouse?

God revealed truth in greater detail over time, so when we interpret scriptures, what we learn from the New Testament takes priority. We interpret… - the OT in light of the NT - the gospels in light of the epistles - poetry and history in light of doctrinal statements in doctrinal books Keep those priorities in mind, and you won’t fall prey to ideas like soul sleep.

It always feels wrong and i have no excuses and what seems at first like im trying to do it with less lust the lusty side always creeps in. @@thedude-jb7wxNo, silly! Do 50 push-ups and 50 sit-ups. Do wind-sprints. Teach the dog a new trick. Go to the Bible bookstore and get a hymnal, and sing your way from cover to cover. Jump out of bed and start reading through your Bible. When you finish, get a Chronological Bible and read through it. Make a list of all the verses used by Arminians and Calvinists. Get a book on hermeneutics. Get a mind-mapping program and create an ontology of all the commands in the Torah. Study for a business or career certification. Study the gospel and start presenting to the heathen on KZread. There are millions of things you can do to fill the void when you cease from a sin.

@@ricksonora6656 Sir, Im going back to work soon after i was in a car accident and im going to try to be a father to to a woman and her child. Im not going to buy into new order but im also not going to be a Republican Pharisee holier than thou crazed lunatic. Basically im trying to adopt a child and be a father because this mother had the child and has a tough life. I suggest you not be a hypocrite and adopt a child and give money not just words to young mothers. Gods rules cannot be changed but if youre one of these calvanist hypocritical republicans Pharisees please have a good one and good luck. You have no idea what God thinks or feels so humble yourself. Good day and i hope we all see each other in Paradise with our Lord. Better sell our fancy trucks and guns and adopt all the children that are going to need a home. Jacob, you haven't messed up too much!! Ask the Lord for forgiveness, begin (if you haven't already) with the book of John in the New Testament....I've messed up so many times in my life, I'm 52 & am a toddler in the Lord. You CAN be saved my friend!!

God has more grace then you have sin. I'm not saying its ok to keep sinning but in those moments when we lose ourselves God has put grace in effect for you and I in the person and loving long-suffering of our Saviour Jesus Christ. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. There is none righteous no not one. Listen to that no disclaimers no separation between people no matter the status or posting or belief, For all have sinned, there is none righteous them Paul double down on that and said no not one suggesting the fullness of thus statement no one left out of the picture. However even though that may be true Christ also said that I have come that you might have life and have it more abundantly. Live my friend ask him to come into your life and live. From there everyday God will bring to a place where he gets the glory out of your life in his own time his own way. His way never goes wrong always comes out right even when it doesn't look good or feel good or sometimes not good or good enough for us and to us. However his ways are not our ways his knowledge is not our knowledge. here's another way of looking at it sometimes he leaves us in state that seems out of bounds because he's shielding us from what would kill us what we can't handle so he hides us to protect us. He puts us on the back burner until the threat has either gone or been destroyed.

We don’t receive God by default. Rejecting Him is actually just realizing that you have yet to receive Him. When you know you’ve messed up too much, you’re exactly where God wants you. We won’t receive God’s gift of redemption as a free gift until we know we need it. God wants the helpless, lost sinner who surrenders to being rescued by Him. Trust Him 100%, not what you’ve done and not what you will do. Rejecting God is yesterday’s. Receive Him today.

Yes it is it is. sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do not be deceived the sexual immoral shall not inherit the kingdom of God ( only Jesus Christ can give you power over this sin) you cannot overcome by your own strength it's impossible

It may be a desire of the flesh,but it's also a need as well. We are sexual creatures,1 reasons it's not good to be alone. But one thing I don't get is why married people do it?

Erectile dysfunction is a very real thing. Many of us women are suffering loneliness for YEARS!

as a single Christian man the holy Spirit living in me I know that this is a sin and this is something that I struggle. why do I do something I don't want to do like Paul said. it's hard for the Christian community to address this as a problem because they come across very pious. Christian men we just don't talk about it because of condemnation from the Christian community I'm better than you attitude. I take this before the Lord I know it's a sin I'm making progress be compassionate towards your brothers and sisters that struggle with this pray for them instead of thinking you have the answers. this is demonic. just love them and pray for them and know that they are in a demonic fight. . also the world does not make it easy on men... women half dressed... Im walking in a store half-dressed women everywhere... on magazine covers you inadvertently look at them.

Demons need to be casted out. I think anyone who is struggling should seek help, they are brethren who will not condemn but will help one out of such a quagmire. You won't win this battle alone and the word of God is powerful enough to wash you and cleanse every sediment that pushes you towards this sin. Sometimes as christians we feel defeated and beaten up so we just stay there and struggle even when help is available. I believe that if you receive the word of God humbly and obey it, it will save your soul. May God deliver you in Jesus Name Amen

All correct, but there’s an element of balance missing, namely, the “body belongs to” part. A spouse who habitually says “no” commits his/her own form of infidelity and creates temptation.
