Excellent explanation of the MagSafe technology and the working and the products and the wattage supported. Crisp, clear, no nonsense... had me hooked, so am a new subscriber to this channel!!!.. fantastic job of explaining everything, great work!!. Personally, I still have the XR and until about 2023/2024 not buying any other device but this was informative anyway and loved it!!.. super again!!..

This helps a lot, thanks! Definitely going for Anker, as size does matter. It would be great if they would bring out this technology with a usb input on both the side of the magnet as well as the connector. This way people could use the length of a cable they prefer.

Hi Marina ! Just stumbled on your channel.. i recently bought the iPhone 13 pro but live wallpaper isn’t working! I searched online and tried several tips but still not working.Also i can’t find the i iCloud music toggle switch in the music app settings despite having a valid subscription

I bought the MagSafe + the 20w Anker IMHO the Anker 20w is better and don’t get hot . Also I bought a extension USB-C off Amazon so now it’s 6ft no problems at all . Love it … wish the MagSafe cases was a lil cheaper tho , also my MagSafe I put 3M tape on 👍

apple cable-c better or magsafe?

i got a female usb c to male usb c extension cable to give me the length i need while charging to tap into the 15w charging and using it cant complaint at all

If I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max, do I NEED a MagSafe case for the magnetic charging to work, or does it work with just the phone (with any case) or no case on its own?

My old iPhone 8 Plus’ lighting port still works perfectly. So I think it’s very hard to wear out your lighting port lol

My iPhone 12 mini's Lightning connector is busted in less than 18 months of buying the phone. Never underestimate how shit Apple can be.

I bought the Anker PowerWave charger, and think the design is a lot smarter, since there’s a minimal raised lip to grip it when you want it removed. No to mention it’s longer too.

Update, it COMES WITH A POWER ADAPTER. The size of the old iPhone block and is 20 WATTS. The magnets are very strong.

I live in the US. And the design has changed a lot. It isn’t big and bulky like in the is video towards the charging ports like shown in the video.

The Anker one is cheaper here in Canada it's $18.99 and the American one is $23.99 weird.

Good video, the lack of a power adapter is such a miss from Apple. Really drives me nuts that Apple doesn’t see that and that Apple doesn’t let anyone else charge at 20 watts. It pretty much means both these options suck.

I owned both and Ankers absolutely blows it out of the water with its lower price point, longer cable, AND comes with the 20w block

Anker accessories tops Apple's. Especially for cables, I have an Anker cable and it's been like 7 years, no sign of wear out, whereas my gf's OG cable for that came with her 11 like 2 years ago, displays multiple punctures from the copper oxidization that's eating out the metal within. i literally had to stitch up the damn cable with Urgos and it probably has like 4 Urgos taped on it just so it doesn't zap the hell out of us.

You don’t have to have a MagSafe case at all to use it you can use it bear and it’ll be strong

Magsafe is definitely worth it

I feel like I'd burn holes in my pockets if I switched to the iphone. I guess I'd rather plug it in or use the on the go battery packs to charge it. Lol

I only use my MagSafe Charger at home to charger my own iPhone 12 :)

6:34 "Fast charging" Really? You forgot to mention two major issues: 1. Charging time is extremely slow. Almost four times slower than regular charging via cable. 2. Charger leaves a horrible round mark on Apple cases, especially on leather cases.

These are inherent to all mag safe chargers. The point is to compare the Apple charger and the maker charger and the video does that.
