Not to mention his hatred toward humans actually started when he was a kid (a Jewish kid mind you) in the holocaust and the humans (the Nazis) killed his mom in front of him all because one he was a mutant and two he was Jewish. I think there was an episode that talked about magneto’s backstory to why he hates humans

Words cannot describe how ride-or-die I would be for Magneto right now. I'd be on that asteroid with full Acolyte gear, kitted out, with a damn hooded cloak over top, blocking the door to his chambers. Soon as the X-Men show up, I'd drop my cloak to the ground and be like "No visitors today, or any day for that matter."

Absolutely. Thousands of years of history shows us the same lesson: there will NEVER be peace between different people. The only path to absolute peace is for one side to annihilate the other. Its sad, but there is no other way.

you forgot how he was literally imprisoned, and treated like chattle right before he finally escaped? the X men could have emphasized with his perspective a little more. Magneto could have used this moment to shake down the world and get what he wanted. because i real life history. even with haiti to a certain extent. sometimes you have to fight for your freedom, it wont be handed over.

It is the same old struggle. Liberation is not gifted by the oppressor, it is taken by the oppressed. Force cannot be overcome without force. Violence must be deterred by violence. Magneto is an angry, wounded man, and he absolutely sees the worst in people, but what he sees is, nonetheless, true. He strips away all the illusions, casts down self righteous rhetoric, exposes hypocrisy, and forces everyone to come face to face with the inescapable realities of power and oppression. When we say, “Magneto is right,” we are referring to his evaluation of the power dynamic between humanity and 99% of mutants, who are not gifted with godlike powers; who cannot defend themselves against the violence directed towards them. Magneto is right in his assessment of the violence, the existential threat of extermination, and the indisputable fact that the institutional powers of the world are not protecting mutants, and are therefore sending the clearest message that they are legitimate targets.
