no need for rapid trigger.. whats the point if we are gonna get smoked to a loser exploiting controller aimbot in fps games like warzone? I have a wooting 60he and still cant do crap against these dumb asses since its humanly impossible to have such a reaction time.. i heard its like .2 milliseconds is all you have to react to an controller aimbot and a human's response time is like 250-270 milliseconds.. you can have the best keyboard on earth and play fps on k&m for 25+ years like me and still get owned. lol

The $180 price tag says it all. Logitech used to be ahead, but now it's a total 180. They've fallen behind so badly. Meanwhile companies like Razer and ASUS (with their ROG brand) have been pumping out banger peripherals. Sure, they can be pricey as well, but at least you're getting more and they have more options too, even the 65 layout. It's sad.

@@TheTechne I'm hoping to see someone run a comparison between this board and any number of budget options with optical switches...hell, if someone does it, I sort of hope they mod the cheap one, show how much less they still spent, and then give us a good comparison, because my cheap little TK61 sounds better than this board with just a little modding on my end (a little extra foam basically, a little in the spacebar to dampen it)...I know sound isn't everything, but man, it's a pretty big part of it for me.

I was interested to see a review on this since I watched Frank's video slamming it. Actually all the talk I saw on this was pretty emotional and just putting it down. It definitely does not seem like it's worth buying even if it were priced a bit lower though. There are just too many other options. Still, I guess the volume wheel placement is neat and maybe if I saw it on a massive discount it'd be worth trying out. I could myself using that volume adjustment rather than the one on my headset. After people just immediately writing this one off, it was nice to see a review that still just treated it like any other keyboard and went into the pros and cons. Still I'm happy with my GMMK2 and the silent tactiles I swapped in, so it'd take a lot for me to want to get a whole new keyboard any time soon.

Volume wheel placement....well, there's also options elsewhere to change volume, like on headsets with volume controls, on dacs, etc etc. Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing to have on the left side of the keyboard, but it's not a killer feature and someone pressing fn+hotkeys could do almost exactly the same thing.

I think keyboard-philes are a bit too emotional over this one but maybe its a good thing as Logitech's new release prices has ALWAYS been too high. It might prompt Logitech to rein it in somewhat with a price drop. On that note, I've been waiting for a 60% Logitech but I'll only consider this with a huge sale/price drop.

I think this is one of the cleanest keyboards Logitech have put out in a while, but I just ordered a Wooting 60HE+ to replace my Logitech G710+ that's on its last legs. I may still look to get a slighly larger board with tactile switches for general typing, but for gaming I'm convinced of the reviews I've seen for the Wooting board to the point of buying one. I think of Logitech had hall effect switches on this with adjustable actuation and rapid trigger I may have reconsidered the purchase, but lacking those features plus a $180 price tag makes this a non-starter given the competition, and I say this as someone who got (and really likes) the Superlight 2 (to be fair, I asked for it for Christmas, but to be further fair it was the only thing I got from the family member who bought it for me, which was totally fine and expected). I've really enjoyed Logitech hardware over the years, but in the next day or so the only Logitech gear I'll be using is my Superlight 2, and my Z-2300 speakers that I've had since 2005. The G710+ has been great, but none of Logitech's larger boards offer USB-C for charging with Lightspeed wireless in a clean package and/or at a reasonable price. It's rather sad to see Logitech try to cling to this premium gaming brand when it feels like most of what they offer these days can be had for less from other competitors, or better from similarly priced or only slightly more expensive options.

Surprisingly, I can kinda see why they priced it so high. To a regular person, they'll see the G Pro X 60 at Best Buy next to something like a SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini and think "Hey, the Logitech board is cheaper, has double the battery life, and it's a better known brand". Of course, all the nerds are screaming "IT HAS NO RAPID TRIGGER!", but a casual gamer would probably glaze over it because it sounds gimmicky lol (Don't get me wrong, I love my Apex Pro TKL Wireless, and rapid trigger definitely isn't a gimmick.)

This keyboard example is exactly why I call the brand logicrap in everything but mice. Over priced for switches that were hot 4 years ago, in a chassis size that hot 4 years ago. Every other brand has already been there, done that and has evolved their lineup with features consumers want. Not horrid optical switches in a 60% shell for $180. Often for around $20 more, you can step up into the ROG Azoth and get a lot more keyboard and functionality. not to mention WAY better battery life.

Logitech messed up bigtime with this one. I still wonder if it isn't just a very late April Fool's Day joke.. For the EXACT SAME PRICE you can get yourself a Wooting 60HE which is BY FAR the BEST keyboard on the market. I've been using mine for half a year and I'm never going back to regular mechanical or optical. To do so is to handicap yourself. Logitech seems to have been living in it's own bubble for the past 3 years. By the way, Wooting just ended the Founders Campaign for the Wooting 80HE, so if you are looking for a best of the best keeb on the market, there is one now in 80% layout. It's only downside is it's wired only, but that's to be able to get their True 8k Polling rate and Rappy Snappy. All while being priced just a couple of bucks over the 60HE.

This board feels like they were stuck chasing razer down the optical rabbit hole. In that sense, its cool that they were able to implement those switches in wireless when I dont think razer was ever able to make it happen. People in the know are going to slam this and thats fine and warranted. Unfortunatly, logitech will sell these in best-buys and on amazon to people who have never heard of a hall effect switch and theyll make more doing that than wooting could ever dream of so unfortunalty there is no real consequences for this for them.

Crazy that they would say "this is what the pros wanted" when the pros are using Wooting 60HE. Also, 99.999% of the people buying this keyboard wont be pros. They'll be people who want their keyboard to sound good, and to have competitive features (sound dampening, hall-effect switches, hot-swap PCB, braided cable). After using the Wooting 60HE I don't want to go back to something worse lol.

What happened to the time when gaming peripherals where innovative and offered even the simplest of user comforts.. Its like we continue to go back in time with these overpriced dull looking things designed for people that apparently only use it to game and nothing else. Not to mention this is years late.

$180 is WAY too much for this keyboard, Logitech should have made it half that price, at most. Logitech is pulling an Apple here, where you're just paying for their brand.

I understand that availability might sway some people’s thought process, but to me, this is a complete miss. In a world where Wooting and other companies are coming out with true esports keyboards, this Logitech just feels tone deaf. And the price is laughably bad when Razer and Steelseries have more updated tech for almost the same money.

To be honest, I have NO CLUE what audience this keyboard is catered to. Gamers? at that price point, get the wooting. For typing? there's better and CHEAPER options than this.

  • @SebiX-fp2ux
    @SebiX-fp2uxАй бұрын

There is no point of buying that keyboard, if you want portability you can find something cheeper and better, if you want gaming keyboard you buy whooting for 20 bucks more, or buy budget whooting clone for cheaper, custom keyboard entusiast will not buy that either, for portability there are cheaper options too. I don't really know who is targeted audience for that product.

The worst part is there are people still defending this product and interested in buying it. Also idk who tf are these supposed to”pros” who gave this crap a go ahead in 2024. This would be a bad product in 2024 if it cost $100 but atleast it would be worth the price. This is insane.

Actual trash keyboard not gonna lie, $180 dollars for that is laughable, it's not even hot swap. You can get much nicer keyboards for $80, I know that a lot of gamers don't know about the custom keyboard market as they get worried that prices are too high, but to put into perspective, a company called Chilkey who are just about to release a 65% keyboard for $100 less and much better quality, backweight, tri mode hot swap PCB with a screen. This is NOT worth the money!
