For nostalgic reasons, I would say yes. I remember it being the very first game I ever booted up, played and completed on my Vita. Never experienced a LBP game before, but it came packaged with the console, thoroughly enjoyed the creativity

Agree with you. It's a real shame to have lost the user created levels but I think there is still a lot of playability with just the built in levels and it's great fun. One of the best iterations of LBP in my opinion.

This is EXACTLY why i wanted to get into LBP but was hesitant because I'd end up making things on a closed platform dependent on closed servers. It's a real shame that so much hard work by the community is now untouchable.

My kids at 3 years and 5 years old love this game. They get to use each of my Ps Vitas and adore sackboy. It was and is their first ever computer game.

Maybe a controversial opinion, but LBP Vita was the best in the series (yes that includes the recent sackboy game). Sumo Digital nailed what a LBP game should be, and then expqnded on it in creative and innovative ways, which leant into the Vita's feature set without ever feeling overly gimmicky. As someone that never spent enough time playing user generated levels and stuck to the developer creations i can absolutely recommend this game, even now

I haven’t played the new Sackboy game but I agree LBP Vita was the best of the series. It was a good length campaign with lots of variety.

Tarsier Studios are actually the main developers for LittleBigPlanet Vita. You can see similarities in the artstyle from story mode and Little Nightmares

Did no one ever find a way to download all of the user created levels, set up a massive online archive and rehost them for CFW playback on Vita?

I really wish I had gotten a PS Vita earlier, just as I'm getting into it, everything is shutting down. I did buy Little Big Planet on eBay, the day before it arrived Sony announced they were shutting down the servers. 😢

Yeah my copy was in backlog and when I finally pulled it out to play it was about the time they shut the server down. I'm kicking myself over not playing sooner.

The psstore and all for the vita and PS3 is still up after backlash!!!!! It's amazing!!!!!! Bought some games and even nightcry I'm so happy I grabbed what I can right now it's still up tho!!!!!! I just got a vita and recently regit a PS3!!!!!!!!

You used to be able to download all kinds of cool custom levels for that game, but that server shut down just as I got the game so I never got to play them. I have heard someone was opening a private server now for Little Big Planet, but I haven't tried to connect to it, I'm not sure if you have to mod your PS Vita to access it or not, my PS Vita is not modded.

Outside of multiplayer games, this is one that positively shines with with the user created levels. Without it, I’d say a huge amount of the game is now missing and, as it was the main selling point, it’s longevity is now massively hindered. I wouldn’t buy it nowadays unless it was heavily discounted. Sad days!

This series looks to be the best platformers I have ever seen .. throughout the years of seeing footage of this game, I silently flip out inside from how aesthetically pleasing it is ..until now I'm like holy shit im so buying all these games I can get and that's my final answer!

I feel so bad for all those who didn't get to experience Vita in its prime. What a freaking system!!

If they turned the servers back on, would the user generated levels come back? I got this game years ago n did get to play it online but by the time I played it was alot of duplicate, or short levels.

Almost all of the costumes were removed from the NA store long ago unfortunately. The only costumes left is the DC pack and one free costume I think, so I bought the EU physical copy of LBP Marvel Edition. So basically I have 2 copys of the same core game but I'm still happy. Is it true that I wouldn't be able to download my costumes from my NA account to a EU game?

I beat all the levels and I was hoping to get some online games. Also for some reason, I can’t get all my purchases re-downloaded to my vita

Hey! I just want ot ask something. Should I buy Castlestorm (digital) or Risk of Rain (digital) or Lumines (Physical), which one is more replayable, and of course more fun. Do you have any other suggestion at this price? (10$)? Love your videos :)

They’re all three really good games. Risk of rain is my favourite but I think Castlestorm is more addictive and has more content. It’s easy to get frustrated with Risk of Rain but Castlestorm has a better difficulty curve. Lumines is good but I’d still go with Castlestorm

It's been a while since I played the game, but I did 100% the trophies for it (platinum + dlc's). The game is great, even without the online! For me the online has always been pretty laggy, and it was hard sometimes to find an actual fun community level (a lot were just very short levels and copies of levels). Like you said I wouldn't recommend the marvel dlc, but the DC comics dlc was pretty fun! Same applies to the main story and arcade. I think the game still has enough content for It's price point and is a must play for every vita lover! ^_^

Tbh it's still a great game with a lot if levels. By itself it's easily a good platformer. It can give you at least 20 hours of gameplay. I was fortunate to get the game early, so I have every MM picked level downloaded to the Vita and a few I really liked from recommended. You can also still make levels to share with people offline. So if you have some irl friends or family you can still have fun with create mode.

I think Sony will give notice before the store closes but no harm grabbing the games you are interested in

I wish someone finds a way to get a version of online up. MM needs to make more games that isn't a spin-off or hand it off.

Actually private servers for this game are super easy to make so online is saved!

I think this was the best game if we talk to use all vita benefits. Same was dlc to little big planet 2 on ps3 it use all that extras that ps3 could offer even second screen with vita in co op. Amazing!

Now I won't feel like a true LBP fan if I don't play LBP:PSP and LBP:PSV-

This one deserves its online features to reverse-engineered and brought back

I still have the game and the device The bad thing is the devices charging part broke But.. It can still be turned on after it dies Edit: you can also guide the thingy by holding down the projectile instead of just tapping in a directions

In my opinion, LBP Vita is still worth it. The servers got shut down, but luckily Lighthouse private servers are being made

I’ve never really understood the appeal of lbp. I’ve tried to play it a few times on vita and it just never grabbed me, didn’t strike me as a brilliant platformer. I’m not that creative when it comes to building levels characters so maybe that’s why its never appealed to me. Guess maybe for someone like me it’s not worth it if that’s it’s biggest draw.

I think the floaty mechanics put a lot of people off, especially if your used to platformer with tighter physics. I was never creative either but I enjoyed checking out other people’s levels
