That's the debate I had with a Khalistani. If the Gurus were against Hinduism so why they named their children as Angad, Ram, Arjun, Hargobind, Harkrishan & Gobind (Krishna). He ignored my question, just like Pakistanis do. And changed the topic. They are trying to mislead Sikhs and taking them away from their Sanatani roots. Gurus were against the bad social practices not religious beliefs.

(1) from the egg (akaal) the hen (krishna) came out and EQUALLY (2) from the Hen (krishna) womb, the egg (akaal vishwaroop) came out). Egg is nirakaar and Hen is saakar. Both are interchangeable. Akaal is Krishna! Krishna's Vishwaroop is Akaal.

We don’t have castes, we don’t worship idols, we give out langar and we must attend gurdwara (as opposed to only praying at home). We also do not make life decisions based on star signs, we don’t worship any Hindu deities. So how are we a section of Hinduism? Because we are in the same country?

I haven't seen any difference between with Upanishads and Guru vani, Vedant and Yoga is being taught by shri Guru Granth Sahib ji. Orthodoxness is that when we come in conclusions that reality is only being here non then else. It's a trash of ignorance this is what Orthodoxism is. This is a great teaching that many UK Sikhs don't understand. Most think Waheguru is either in Gurdwaras only or in pictures of Guru Nanak at home. As soon as they step into a Gurdwara, they act all saintly but are the opposite when outside a Gurdwara.

@@someinv6320 I'm talking about in reality, not in principle. Nearly every Sikh home in the UK that you will go to will have a picture of Guru Nanak or even other sants/babey. Many of them will start teaching their kids from when their babies to do 'Satsriakal' and matha tek to the pictures of Guru Nanak. This is the truth of what Sikhs in the UK do. Maybe happens elsewhere in the world too, but I can only speak about the UK.

​@@someinv6320: It's not about showering statues with milk in Hinduism, or doing mata tek in Sikhism or kissing the cross in Christianity, or lighting incense in Buddhism' or facing the mihrab and Makka when praying; these are all symbolic acts. It's to do with ritual, respect, symbolism, tradition, honour and love and is common to all religions. It's not the physical stone statue of Shiva or picture of Guru Nanak, or image of dead Jesus on a cross, or golden statue of the Buddha, or the highly decorated Mihra in a mosque it is about showing respect and honour to the teachings and the teachers/prophets of their religion. All of whom were human beings, but with special attributes. May you worship in the way you believe best and "right' for you and let others worship in the way they believe is best and is "right' for them. 🙏

@@NewZman23 Rituals, such as matha tek to pictures is hypocrisy for those who say they follow the teachings of Guru Nanak. Guru Nanak showed humans a path to connect with Waheguru, and was against any rituals.

Bhagwad Geeta changed my life. I learnt the importance of Karma Yog , doing my own daily work duties etc without attachment to outcome. Doing my job efficiently, skillfully & avoiding inaction. Im new to spiritual development but I think this is the ultimate message of Bhagwad Geeta Karm Yog. Thank you all🙏🏽🙏🏽

you are blessed. i was also very confused between karmyog and gyanyog. actually doing day to day duties and responsibilities is not Karmyog. actually Krishna narrates that their is only one karm and that is worship on lords name. nishkam karmyog means that you keep worshiping him without even thinking about attaining moksha as the desire of moksha will also bind you. i would suggest more insight reading. the more you read, the more you ll keep attaining. i kept reading a chapter daily for 2 years and i still keep getting more and more insight. Guru Granth Sahib Ji is explanation of Ek Ongkar. we should make a group to share our experiences.

I'm a mona sikh - I was born into a Brahmin family but the first time I heard about Guru Nakak and Sikhi it all made perfect sense. I've since been lucky enough to have Darsham of Harminder Sahib, Anandpur Sahib and Damdama Sahib. My life will be complete when I visit the 2 remaining Takhts at Patna and Nanded. They (Sikhs) r a sect(Panth) of Sanatan Dharma I am from Maharashtra to simplify my Journey I follow my Guru Swami Samartha like the Sikh sect follow the Gurbani given to them by Guru Gobind Singhji I live by the Tarak Mantra of my Gurudev both Sects are derivations from the Sanatan Dharma. This simplifies our life as we can live by the rules given to us by our respective Gurus(Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Gurur Devo Mahesh varaha Gurur saakshaat parabhramha tasmai shree Guruve Namahaa) A guru is the embodiment of Brahma Vishnu and Mahesh the Trimuti devataas of Sanatan Dharma . Dont confuse it as a seperate religion it is a sect(Sikhism) of the Sanatan Dharma just like Budhism Jainism or Nath Panth that I follow . Satyanaam Adesh Guru Ka Om Guru Gorakhnaathaya namahaa. Swami Om Shree Paarvati Pathehnamahaa Har Har Mahadev.

@boost9781 SADHU = SARDAR 1. sadhu never shaved/cut head hairs (stacks of hairs over head). 2. sadhu never shaved mustache or beard. Kept longest beard. 3. sadhu used orange color to represent them. 4. sadhu meditated OM (aum) symbol and they believed only in NIRAKAAR god (aum). 5. sadhu goal was to work for entire mankind. 6. sadhu when provoked, there anger was furious (shraap curse giver), there anger was like the LION destroyer. 7. sadhu were mastered in vedas Grath and there life was all about GURU teachings. 8. sadhu living was beyond themselves (help seva, righteousness, disciplined life) 9. sadhu had mantra, yantra, tantra (devices) skills. 10. sadhu held higher positions/respects than local Kings. sadhu were real SARDARS! Our guru gobind (krishna) singh believed in avatars so he wrote dasam-granth (10-avataar of krishna). Same is for Chandi da vaar (Singh, lion of chandi). By writing these granth, our guru govind singh said he WILL worship krishna and the ganesha, but Mughal continuously manipulated the books.

Truth Is : All Sikhs are Hindus only , when Hindus were attacked and killed by Muslim rulers in India like Akhbar Babar Aurangeb then the Sikhs were formed out of Hindus who decided to form a totally different rules with a primary goal to fight Muslim rulers and save Hindus. Just like what Indian Army is Doing . But in the last decade innocent Sikhs are misguided by Pakistan ISI Muslims congress to divide Sikhs convert them and use them against Muslims.

Being an Hindu I love Sikhism as well as Hinduism. For me both are same 🙏🙏🙏

Truth Is : All Sikhs are Hindus only , when Hindus were attacked and killed by Muslim rulers in India like Akhbar Babar Aurangeb then the Sikhs were formed out of Hindus who decided to form a totally different rules with a primary goal to fight Muslim rulers and save Hindus. Just like what Indian Army is Doing . But in the last decade innocent Sikhs are misguided by Pakistan ISI Muslims congress to divide Sikhs convert them and use them against Muslims.

Who was taking care of Sikhism before Guru Nanak ?? because Guru Nanak was born in April 15 , 1469. Before 1469 where was Sikhism ?? and even the word GURU is a Hindu word, why you use that word 😂😂, Bro first find out the answers to my questions , you will know all truth. All sikhs were hindus only before 1469. Hindu Religion is based mostly on Illusions like Ramayan and Ram. and Hindhu eord even does not exist in any vedas or other religious scriptures you Said I know about all religions even you don't know about your own religion.

I had gone through a video on explanation of bhagavat Gita by Iskon pandit to a Pakistani muslim scolar, but pandits explanation was so confusing, But the way you have served Gita to all is so much clear and focused that any one can understand so easily,this is called wisdom at its best! Guru Nanak ji ki ashirwad se bhara mahagyani ko shat koti pranam🙏🙏🙏

It melts my heart when I see anyone talking about other's religion with so much devotion and knowledge, World needs more of this.

i remember reading the guru nanak ji"s story in my school back in the days i was very touched by this at that time. thank you for reminding it to me again.

Thank you for bringing the crucial point of, from whom everything stems from. I was born in Sikhism and Hinduism. But today, I am a Vaishnava following Srila Prabhupada's pathway. Krsna is the supreme personality of Godhead , and from Him all things come as He expands Himself in karanadaskhaaii Vishnu, Garbodaskshaaii Vishnu and Ksriodakshaaii Vishnu, from He enters into all planetary systems, everything in the creation ( his creative energy) and into all living entity as paramathama just like sun rays penetrate into everything from the sun. Therefore, krsna says in Bhagavat Gita, " I am the beginning, I am the middle and I am the end". He is the ADI PURUSH, the supreme person with no one above Him.

Now please open your minds instead of treading water. It’s about “oneness”, the foundation of sikh philosophy. Understand your concepts with open minds, not to foster your egos. Krishna that is understood with sikh parameters doesn’t involve quarrels about ownership.

Singh Sabha movement was a dead end which ensured sikhi was doctored around with later ensuring it's core roots or let's say the actual religious doctrines were made distinct from what the gurus had portrayed. Agenda was always to somehow forge a distinct identity which would push Sikhs closer to separatism, you have understand the chronology behind such a agenda, historians, paintings, history being written in present state, all waa done to push sikhi away from its founding force.

God is everywhere but for a clear concentration we can use idols or pictures. Pictures,visuals always helps humans to focus. We have been made like this. It can be hard to understand something even in 1000 words but a 1 minute video will give us a clear cut explaination about that thing.

Ultimately even if we are in front of picture or idol everything just going inside the brain and heart . So referring us as idol worshippers is a shallower perspective with some certainly wrong intention. Our Saints are also like Buddhist monks they don't have any personal relation whole community or humanity is their family and grahasth or married people have lots of responsibilities so its hard for them to follow it at the level of monks.

True. Bhagwad Geeta says (13.14): सर्वत: पाणिपादं तत्सर्वतोऽक्षिशिरोमुखम् | सर्वत: श्रुतिमल्लोके सर्वमावृत्य तिष्ठति | "Everywhere are His hands and feet, eyes, heads, and faces. His ears too are in all places, for He pervades everything in the universe." Which means Hari is not limited to any particular form. Hari is omnipresent, pervading all that is living and non living.

I think 🤔 that messages given by Sri ram and krisna were all true . But truth fade away with time and as some people saw religion as thier business .Guru s guided back us to truth

I would like to add a few more things to this beautiful explanation about Krishna. As a Sikh, I have to admit, the earthly form of Krishna is mesmerizingly beautiful, looking at pictures of him no doubt brings peace to mind, similar to keeping a frame of Guru Nanak, although I realize these aren’t the same. Another thing is many times I’ve listened to KZread videos of Krishna flute music, but we know that isn’t really Krishna’s flute but just to meant to give the idea of Krishna playing such beautiful flute, for peace and calm. I’ve thought at times if flute music played by a human can sound so beautiful, how beautiful it must have been to have the Real Lord’s flute notes falling on your ears❤️ there are many references in Gurbani that meditating on the Lord’s Name one can hear the unheard heavenly music. There is a line from Sukhmani Sahib “Prabh kai simran, anhad jhunkar”, which means meditating on The Lord’s name one hears the unstruck heavenly melody. I find Krishnas flute music is like that. We cannot hear it in the conventional sense with our ears like satpal is quoting Krishna saying to see the entirety of me you cannot see me with the conventional way, you have to see and hear with the mind and become one with God.

Like too much of proximity breeds contempt, too much of praise on someone makes them brew contempt for the one who keeps praising them all the time. The Sikhs saved their own as much as the rest of panths of the Sanatana Dharma did. Nothing more , nothing less for which they gain my respect as much as my own heroes. Sikhi panth came up similar to Vaishnavism, Shaivism, Buddhism and countless renewal traditions of Sanatana Dharma as the wise men of that time found that the people needed them to revise the existing traditions. It’s not for nothing that the revered 10th guru has sent his best men for learning Vedic wisdom from the Brahmanas of Varanasi/Kashi. Tomorrow, a new path may arise when/if the time is not suitable for people to practice Sikhi panth. Sanatana == nitya nootana i.e. ever new / self purifying. I respect the Gurus as much as I do respect all of the Acharyas of Hindu fold but will not tolerate any person with a Sikh name making fun of my traditions.

Not Sikhs, it's Hindus who lack understanding of Hinduism. Even khalistani Sikhs who you might view as anti-Hindus know better cuz we learnt from our Gurus who gave most authentic interpretations of all Dharmic holy texts. I bet 90% of Hindus see Hanuman as some kinda monkey, whereas he was a adivasi. He was Vannar not Bandar, van in sanskrit means forest nd nar meaning man, a man living in the woods.

Truth Is : All Sikhs are Hindus only , when Hindus were attacked and killed by Muslim rulers in India like Akhbar Babar Aurangeb then the Sikhs were formed out of Hindus who decided to form a totally different rules with a primary goal to fight Muslim rulers and save Hindus. Just like what Indian Army is Doing . But in the last decade innocent Sikhs are misguided by Pakistan ISI Muslims congress to divide Sikhs convert them and use them against Muslims.

They (Sikhs) r a sect(Panth) of Sanatan Dharma I am from Maharashtra to simplify my Journey I follow my Guru Swami Samartha like the Sikh sect follow the Gurbani given to them by Guru Gobind Singhji I live by the Tarak Mantra of my Gurudev both Sects are derivations from the Sanatan Dharma. This simplifies our life as we can live by the rules given to us by our respective Gurus(Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu Gurur Devo Mahesh varaha Gurur saakshaat parabhramha tasmai shree Guruve Namahaa) A guru is the embodiment of Brahma Vishnu and Mahesh the Trimuti devataas of Sanatan Dharma . Dont confuse it as a seperate religion it is a sect(Sikhism) of the Sanatan Dharma just like Budhism Jainism or Nath Panth that I follow . Satyanaam Adesh Guru Ka Om Guru Gorakhnaathaya namahaa. Swami Om Shree Paarvati Pathehnamahaa Har Har Mahadev.
