In this video, we are continuing our Thailand series and this time, we get to explore one of the most famous islands in Phang Nga Bay - James Bond Island. We booked a James Bond Island tour by speedboat with Amazing Canoeing to show you what to expect when you book one of these day tours from Phuket. Our tour throught Phang Nga Bay will last about 7-8 hours and it includes multiple island stops, canoeing, luch and drinks.
So, our trip starts in the north of Phuket, at the Royal Phuket Marina, where we will take a 40 minutes boat ride to our first stop of the day - Phanak Island. Phanak Island has 5 to 6 caves and we will visit the only one that is not flooded. We did our trip during the full moon so most of the caves in this region are underwater and not accessible. Inside the cave are beautiful rock formations and at the end of it, is an opening overlooking a lagoon.
Our next stop is 10 minutes boat ride away, to an island called Koh Talu. The James Bond Island tour also includes a guided canoe tour where a local guide takes you around the island. Koh Talu in translation means passage through a mountain so our guide Boy is taking us through the many passages here and the beautiful mangrove forest.
5 minutes away by speedboat is Koh Panyee Thailand, also known as the Muslim Floating village. The villagers are Indonesian Muslims that were relocated by the Thai government from the caves of Phanak Island. Koh Panyee village has a lot of restaurants to eat at. Our tour included a lunch buffet at a beautiful restaurant near the water where we got to enjoy some delicious thai food. After lunch, we explored the Koh Panyee floating village where you can find many souvenir shops and a beautiful mosque.
Next stop is the main attraction of the Phang Nga Bay Thailand - James Bond Island - known to Thai people as Khao Phing Kan. The island became popular after the 1974 James Bond Movie - The Man With the golden gun. We got some time to explore the island, take some pictures with the iconic Koh Ta Poo rocky pinnacle sticking out of the water, explore the many caves on the small island and marvel at the clean-cut wall of rock leaning on the mountain. For James Bond Movie Fans, this is a must-visit location when you do these island-hopping tours in the Phang Nga Bay.
The last stop of the day is at Naka island where we get some time to enjoy the sun and relax. There are multiple restaurants and bars on the beach, offering delicious drinks, beach chair rentals, parasailing, jet ski rentals, and much more.
This concludes our James Bond Island Tour from Phuket. We had an amazing time during our day trip and would definitely recommend it.

Hello Chip and Christina, I love your vlogs. 😍 Planning to go Phuket for the first time at the end of October. We plan to stay in Patong. May I know how and when to book a day tour? Should we book it after we arrive at the hotel or via online before we even arrive Phuket? Thank you and hope to hear from you soon 😁❤️
