Glad to help. Although, this test did not include any brake testing while pulling a trailer with weight behind it.

I've considered a front brake upgrade like this, but at least in my case the wheels usually break traction before the brakes run out of steam. I've managed though to heat up the front pads until I can smell them on long downhill roads, so I'm still looking into more robust solutions.

We are not. I am 225lbs and Mike is 250lbs.

Not sure what everyone else is seeing, but I see just shy of 25% shorter stops from 28. a)nHigh speed stops are the ones that save you from crashes that break bones, heads etc. b) This doesnt delve into brake pressure, and modulation. FEEL in other words. Either way my 82 lb. OKAI EB50 would stop dramatically better based on these parameters and since this is SAFETY, CONTROL and PREVENTION of injury, I am completely sold on ANY advantage I can gain on the street, where unpredictable things happen, predictably. Thanks!

Hey Scott, for the specific case of the Aventure I'd upgrade tires before anything else since the stock Innova tires aren't the best. I upgraded to tubeless Jumbo Jims and the profile of the bike changes dramatically. The tubeless conversion isn't so practical for most people, but I'd love to see you test it.

How is the tire noise when on pavement with these? With the stock Innovas you don't need a bike bell to warn people you're coming up behind them.😂

You are running tubeless on the stock wheels? I was interested in doing this as well.

Mechanical brakes would be no compeition to these, but thats a great idea. I already have half the footage done. hahahaha.

Can't see any real advantage. As long as I can stop safely with the stock brakes, I see no reason to pay more.
