If they released a Cody with his screen accurate coloring with a Phase 1 Helmet, it would be no question. I can skip the chrome one though.

Looks very cool but I’m conflicted ngl! Not really got space for a specific Chrome set of figures. Would have much preferred an Imperial Cody from BB or Imperial Crosshair!! But I know collectors are gonna love Chromey Cody so it’s still a cool and interesting announcement. Great vid mate 👊🏻

Imperial Cody & Imperial Crosshair would be amazing! I’m still surprised they didn’t slam us with clones from that series. Commander Chromie’s lookin’ good, but like I said, that price will be a huge factor for me. Space is already our enemy. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼

The chrome deathtrooper was a disaster for value as it's price dropped by almost 100.00 on secondary market even for new ones. The chrome clone trooper had many people selling theirs, as did I.

Man oh man... that poor Death Trooper is still sitting even after Daily Deals. As for the Chrome Trooper, I understand it. All of the errors I've seen along with the few I had? At $275? Yeah, no. I get selling it 100%.

1:24 - Hera’s squad in Star Wars: Rebels is actually called "Ghost Crew". ☝🤓

If I can get it great, but if not that's ok. I would really prefer the Empire Cody with a head sculpt.

Same here. Although, if they ask me for payment up front again, it's a no go. Imperial Cody would be pretty easy for them to make since the foundation of his armor is the same. Interesting we haven't seen him yet.

I won't even budge at this one. One thing that might have made this interesting might have been giving the parts that are orangey on his original armour an orangy tint in the chrome. No idea whether this is technically possible though.

THAT would've been CLEEEEEAAN! I'm sure it would've slowed up production in terms of putting him out for the event, but I bet he'd be waitlisted right now if they did. That's actually a great idea...

It would be really awesome with his orange markings on his armor to be mat black on the chrome. I agree, this could use a bit more pop and contrast.

Yeah! I responded to someone else who mentioned this just a moment ago. That would've been a great idea. It just goes to show it's all about a quick dollar since clones sell so well. It makes me feel like an idiot buying one if they view it that way. Unfortunate, but the contrast would've made him look SO much cooler in the display.

Had the opportunity to get it, was about to buy it, but ultimately passed.

😭😭 Right?! Poor guy is still sitting up there waiting to go waitlist. I ended up securing 2 of them by accident. A family member preordered and I secured mine after 25% stock selling out and placing 1450. He never went 50%, just straight to preorder and still limited to one per cus... you can't make this up! 😭

They're pretty, but the chrome dudes just don't fit in with my realistic collection. It's money I can spend on another figure that does.

Yeah, I get it 100%. If it weren’t for Padmé I wouldn’t have them at all to be fair. I feel like he’ll be $290 if I had to guess. If he is, I’m out.

Pass. A Re-release in chrome is still just a re-release at the end of the day. Especially with less accessories. Give me a Cody unmasked sculpt. Throw posable eyes in a all new sculpt...then maybe I'd be excited. All the hands should definitely be pairs! Always! I would only attempt to buy this to flip to the diehards that won't secure it, which I'm not going to bother with the hassle but that's the only appeal I see here.

Yeah, I'm surprised at the shift in accessories for the most part. I can't say I expected a portrait, but I'll save a lot of my thoughts for the review. This one speaks to me as I have a niche spot for him outside of other collectors, so I'm looking forward to him. No clue where they thought it was fine to have one neutral hand though, that's ridiculous! Let alone pairs being important. If ThreeZero and Sideshow can do it...

It’s cool but there’s something that feels off to me about the paint app. I know it’s trying to go for an obvious pristine look, but I would’ve liked to see battle damage under it in a way. I honestly wanted a reissue or the Imperial gray Bad Batch version. I might just stick with prioritizing Revan for now.

Yeah, an Imperial design would've been preferred, but I guess it's easier to push this out since it's obscure.

@@BostonCollectors I suppose. Plus it’s (unfortunately) limited so people that may want it are going to have a possible hard time. It just feels like a quick buck. I hate how negative that sounds but… sigh.

What the hell is going on? lol I wake up and Hot Toys drops 3 more figures 😮 I liked the other Chrome Clones but I have no interest in this.
