Thank you for bringing back this video series! Please do more! I would love to see the rest of the Ashoka series done as well as ROTJ Han Solo if your schedule allows it. And it absolutely bugs me when Hot Toys gives us one of each hand as opposed to a pair. It is very frustrating. Hands are very important, and that was one of my biggest complaints of the first 2 Mando releases as they did not have a pair of relaxed hands

Thank you for taking the time out to watch! I'll see if we can back log these, because it would be quite a bit to do, haha! I don't know why Hot Toys refuse to just give full pairs. I've seen it done through lines like Spider-Man, but even then it depends. Rex, only received one "neutral" hand. Same goes for the Chrome Clones, the $275 exclusive ones, by the way. It BUGS me. I could go on all day, but if I did a video on something like that, it would probably be meme'd into the dirt.

Nice overview of the features, really impressed with the effort put into this piece

Did not expect this announcement. I think she looks incredible! I'm now expecting them to reveal a siege of Mandalore version which then creates the problem of what do I do with TCW version I have? First world problems hey lol. The big question now that they've revealed this young Ahsoka is WHERE are Baylan and Shin!?!?! Still can't believe we haven't gotten a reveal yet 😭 As always, keep up the great work 👏🙌

You and I both! Let alone another Anakin at some point. I bet the Siege of Mandalore version of her is in the works after this one. This'll make it that much harder for Sideshow to get rid of their own Ahsoka version let alone the stock they got in from Hot Toys. Bring on Baylan and Shin. Those would be MINUTE ONE preorders out the gate! MOPO! I'm sure Marrok would move a bit more if they announced them too. Thanks for watching, I appreciate you swinging by! 🍻🙏🏻

Great video mate! Enjoyed this. Think the figure looks absolutely superb, headsculpt a 10/10 no question (appreciating its the prototype). Liked how you corrected yourself and added other tidbits of information via the speech bubbles through the video, a nice touch. Thanks for the video 👊🏻🍻

You should do something like this too man! It'll keep you busy unless life's busy enough. I'd enjoy hearing your perspective on announcements. Yeah, this was a day one preorder for me, but I overslept when it was announced and the wife went ahead and secured it for me. Gotta love supportive spouses! Yeah, hopefully the speech bubbles weren't too much of a distraction, but I'll need the crutch until I'm comfortable doing these again. 😄 Thanks for watching man!🍻

Fantastic video, as always (for April Fools you should do a less than fantastic video 🤣🤣) Looks like a great figure. But I already have the Clone Wars Ahsoka, and just don't see having two such different versions of the same character in my collection. This is an easy pass for me.

Hey Jonathan, I really enjoyed your opinion. I won’t be getting this as I think the S7 version we already have is good enough. And personally I think it looks like a kid in make-up. Albeit, a really immaculate sculpt. This figure looks great by all means. Just not for me. Also I agree with the CW Ahsoka, the bunching of the outfit in the armpit is SO annoying. Reposed her last night and was futzing with it trying to get it to sit right. (It didn’t work out) 😂

Hey! Thanks for taking the time out to watch. I felt the same the way about owning the Clone Wars version of Ahsoka. I already have her, why this one? But, after realizing I could fit her into the display, I had to pull the trigger. She works with the Clone Wars version of Anakin that we already have and even better alongside the Phase One 501sts/Regs from the Clone Wars. Not too much more outside of that, but that's great for me. Technically, it is a kid in make-up, but I think I get what you mean though. However, I look at it from the Star Wars universe scope and not our own. If anything it's a great way to show just how screwed up the Jedi were in expediting the teachings of younger padawans to have them fight in the war. Outside of the Star Wars universe, I respect anyone's choice to forgo collecting her if they don't want to. I've sat down with plastic tweezers on multiple occasions to try to fix the bunching. I've only been able to fix it once and never agin, haha! It's.... frustrating. Thanks again for watching and sharing your thoughts man!

@@BostonCollectors You’re welcome brother. That’s a very insightful way to put it. Fingers crossed we can get a reissue of some clones from this series since they seem to be going so deep into it. I don’t want to pay the secondary market price for them 😂

Can you also make a Preview/Worth the price on the new Rex? :D In addition, do you think the new Anakin will be totally different? Would you go for it if it was artisan?

Hmm, good idea! I'll see what I can do. 😄 So, I think Hot Toys would try to pull a few accessories from The Clone Wars show to make the announcement look better. However, if they chose to strictly go with what we saw in the Ahsoka show, it would be rather limited. All they have to do is say the figure itself is limited to "x" amount of pieces and hide behind that without working too hard though. Would I get it? It's a tough sale for me, because I already have the earlier version of him. This'll end up being another variation of the one I have. Right now, it's tough to say. BUT... it isn't 100% no. 😅 What about you? Would it be worth it to pick up for your collection?

@@BostonCollectors I mean this one on the pictures just looks More proportional, updated. The last version was announced almost 4 years ago. If it was artisan, no way. But I could imagine they are going this way and make it a DX, like the ROTS Anakin. But if HT gave the figure a nice facelift, I would think about upgrading :)

Is that a full silicone body?

Chances are it’s like the previous Clone Wars Ahsoka where the arms and neck were silicone. The rest is standard plastic.
