Is it worth it??? Baby product review w/tutorial

We would love it if everyone who watches this video can subscribe! This is the Baby Trend Go Lite Pack N' play in the color Drip Drop Blue.
We noticed there wasn't really a video on how to assemble this product nor what people thought of it, so we decided to make one for you!
We hope you enjoy this video and if you like it, please give it a thumbs up! Leave a comment if you have any questions. Share if you know anyone having a baby and need to know what they should get and subscribe for more videos! It would mean a lot to me!

The floor mat is supposed to be placed inside the mesh netting. This acts as a bigger bassinet area/shallower playard for when baby outgrows bassinet but is still too small for the deep playard. When baby starts sitting up you can then remove the mesh liner and move the floor mat to the bottom the way you had it in the video for use with bigger more mobile babies and todders.

My son is 10 months now and I'm going through all his baby stuff and disassembling them. I love this pen. Couldnt use it as much since my son gained weight too quickly. I followed the manuals weight limit. He uses the main as a ball pit now. I never used the bassinet tho. Took me an hr to try to figure it out and then I saw how you assembled it. God bless. I saw the bars and string in the middle and pulled it. Finallyyyy its flat!

I am glad my tutorial was able to assist you in correctly using and assembling your pack n play! I couldn't use the bassinet for long cause my LO grew too long quickly! I cant wait to use the play pin when she starts getting up on her own😊

the mattress that is in the bottom of the pack n play goes in the mess thing. That way when the baby is little you can put them in there if you want and not have to bend all the way down to get them in an out.

I didn't mind not be able to wash the fabric as I had those waterproof mats from the hospital (could use training pads covered with a blanket or towel also) that I put on it. Changed it as needed. Could also use a child safe lysol wipes to clean up any messes as well. But for the price and quality , it's well worth it !

Hello.. i am still loving this product. I use it only for when my kids go to families house now. But the functionality of being able to take it from 1 place to another is a must! Its easy to maneuver everywhere. In my opinion I think its safe for this to be used a primary bed.. we used it like that in our bedroom till we were ready to put baby girl in her crib

I haven't made an update video, but I can say it served its purpose well.. I wasn't able to use the bassinet for too long since my baby grew really fast, but I was able to use the top bed portion for a really long time! Currently using the pack n play off and on , not as much as I would like cause she just wants to crawl everywhere but definitely good to keep baby in one spot.. I use this for traveling so its perfect for me. All factors depend on your baby from if she likes being alone to like sleeping in her bed more etc.

Would you say it's worth it to buy this rather than a bassinet now then crib later? My aunt is telling me I dont need it yet which I know I like choosing big ticket items that i can use for a while. For instance I picked a stroller that has a car seat integrated with it that can be adapted into toddler years. I'm new to this. Help!!

I brought my pack n play and crib the same time when babies r us was closing down. I also brought a bassinet but realized that wasn't worth it being the pack n play has a bassinet.. it also can serve as a crib so saves some money in the beginning for a few months. All in all. I would get the pack n play in the beginning and when baby can get up on his or her own, then invest in a crib.. you can use the pack n play portion when baby starts crawling and walking and you want him or her to stay in one spot. It was worth it for me

I kept the pack n play in my room for a while so baby can sleep in my room and made it easier to not have to get up to get her.. then I put it in my living room and she slept in her crib when she made 6 months

Anyone that bought this, can you tell me how safe you think it is as far as potential suffocation hazard? Also, did your baby sleep well in it, was it good to have in your room with a newborn? I'm trying to decide between getting this and getting a Halo bassinet (the swivel one that goes by the bed) and I'm really leaning toward this one just because it can be used for a lot longer because after she grows out of the smaller bassinet part, she can sleep in the lower level, larger bassinet. So I'm really curious how that all worked out for other people and if anyone has advice for me on this. The bassinet is THE most important baby product to me, because I absolutely *have* to have something that's going to be safe for her to sleep in at night and it also has to be functional for me *and* something comfortable that she'll actually be able to sleep in. I'm really pretty stressed about the decision of which to get because I don't want to have to send one back and get something else, I don't want it to end up being dangerous, I don't want to put her in it and find that she absolutely hates it, or whatever. I really want to get this right the first time. So if anyone has any insight for me, I'd really love to hear it. Thanks so much!

I personally love this product. I am going on 6 months of using it. She currently still sleeps in the netted portion where you lay the floor mat on top of as she does not sit up on her own as of yet. Once she does, I will move the mat to the floor portion and she can sleep there. She grew out of the bassinet length wise. As far as safety, it is very durable and I have not experienced anything with this product to raise any concerns for suffocation. Like you, the reason why I opted for this instead of just a bassinet is due to the convenience of having everything all in one and not having to spend extra money in the future. Also, the module that connects to the bassinet for music, lights and vibrations, I took it off that once she couldn't use the bassinet anymore and connected it to the actual pack n play itself so it can still soothe her to sleep. I hope this helps you!
