IS IT WORTH DOING ACCA? Should I struggle to Become Chartered Accountant / ACCA member?
This is my personal opinion and I am biased as I only did ACCA and there are other qualifications such as CIMA which are also very good. Since I have not done them I cannot comment as to how good it s, nevertheless I am not saying they are not good.,
The two videos I have mentioned are:

How to study ACCA with kids at home

    This came right when I needed it, left my big4 audit job in December after 3.5 years, although was doing exceptionally well, cause I did not have the work life balance and enough time to squeeze in to study. I now aim to finish my P levels are soon as I can, planning to SBR and AAA this June, hope everything works out and I become a member soon! 💗✨ Thank you for the video, you are so motivating!! 💗

    @@AgnesMann ok thanks. I can't self study, because I find it hard to study, that's my weakness. Thank God though I completed most of school with good grades. Do you recommend me to attend ACCA classes on weekends? And can I pass by mostly doing so since self studying is hard for me. What do you suggest?

  • @AgnesMann

    @AgnesMann

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@kemarblake1854 the way you should look at it is that even if you go to school and get the material and someone explain things you still go home and study most of it yourself. So it’s never like the knowledge is just gonna stick after one lesson wouldn’t you agree. So you do do a lot of self study. Try Acowtancy (I always recommend them in most my acca videos) as this is where you get given lessons and you go though it whenever you can and study though it while doing some self studied to deepen your knowledge (mostly by going though some past papers question). You can do it if you put your mind to it.

I'm planning to do my ACCA because I want to move to the UK after the next 5 years but if I didn't have that dream I wouldn't pursue it because I have mental health issues, and find it hard to self study especially while studying. Hi Kemar. In the UK ACCA is very highly regarded (just as I said in the video) Once you complete you bachelor's degree, you will sure get some exemptions so it will give you a head start on the way to becoming a member. You will get through it, especially if this is your dream! You can do it! I believe in you! Better to learn coding.. That way you can actually do a side hustles, create your own app, do web development freelancing, work in IT, actually become self employed in IT, use coding knowledge to expand your own business opportunities online (digital marketing, shopify, web design..etc) ACCA forces you to stay in accounting.. which is extremely boring.. I worked for a big four in audit and then for a few service providers, it is very stressful, unrewarding, boring, slave-work, no adequate remuneration..etc Basically you slave away to hit weekly, monthly quarterly deadlines, working even throughout the night, week-ends, holidays..etc Just to get your monthly meager salary, while the actual owners of the company get millions.. If you love being a meaningless, invisible cog in the machine, working in accounting then yeah, go ahead.
