I really have a soft spot for Jiyoon. She’s a stellar vocalist but also sensitive, oftentimes insecure and probably misunderstood. Like the frustration of putting your blood, sweat and tears into something and it still doesn’t turn out the way you want it - I get it 😭 When Taeyang said to her that he also has darkness in him and with the right mindset she can give her work more depth and meaning, I almost teared up. She deserves all the praise for her performance!

no you're 100% about jiyoon. there's something inside of her & we can all see it. she's the type of girl who, once she learns how to use her emotions to convey her vocals...omg she will be unstoppable. A lot of the bests have that darkness in them too

@@thekwatchlist I think that a lot of people don’t understand how rough it oftentimes is being a sensitive person who feels things deeply. Handling your emotions is a really difficult task if you were never taught that. And yes, I agree that the best have darkness in them. I am rooting for her! Either as a soloist or in a supportive group. She has this aura and a voice that draws you in.

Kind of out of topic, but i think Jiyoon will sounds great in rock band songs.

I can understand Jiyoon's behavior... it's not ideal, but she's human. She had high confidence going into the show, then one hiccup lead to her losing main vocal... not only that being sent to the bottom of the list at #11, she felt betrayed by her original unit, and that no one trusted her anymore, then getting sent to ground despite scoring high, then having to go against her only friend on the ground, only to get a song which is the opposite of her style... My girl hasn't caught a break until the latest mission.

they could never make me hate jiyoon,, i just hope she doesn't get too quickly disheartened because she has such a unique voice and presence also yuiko shouldn't have been eliminated... she just got unlucky with the team she was in

the eliminations.... i was shocked.... people who got moved into i-land from bad boy were so lucky to have fuko on their team. in my opinion others should have been eliminated

Frrrrrrrrr, personally I think that Kang jiwon, nana and even yeeun survived only for fuko, they were so bad imo and I don’t think that Yuiko was one of the worst ones in likeohah team I mean the girl with pink top and the heart was the worst one and she survived 😭😭

My thing is that these trainees are learning and working to overcome all concepts thrown their way because they need that adaptability to be an idol. I wanna see a better mindset for the finalists at least :)

This week was something fs. As soon as the Grounders won the vocal battle or wtv, a lot of the ppl rooting for the I-Landers starting saying nasty things abt the Grounders (specifically Jiyoon), shitting on them, etc. So now I'm rooting for the Grounders even more 😄 And I also knew that Jiyoon and Minsol would blow Jungeun and Fuko out of the water, I knew Jiyoon would finally be able to showcase her vocals + Minsol did great too!

Chaeeun knows she's on the edge of being eliminated if she will not improve. LOL Nervous as hell when Minsol was called for elimination. She's one of my faves since I'm also watching My Teenage Girl.

Honestly what the point of having best ability if the behaviour and mental wellness is weak. No sportsmanship, jiyoon should learn from Mai. Accept what your role given and do your best out of it. She needs to change her attitude and mindset in a competition . Even she debut, there is a long path to move, can she sustain with her attitude n mentality.

Fr. Shes not versatile i.e can only do one type of genre refusing to do others, can only fit certain type of songs i.e cannot sing while dancing. She suits being a soloist and does what she wants. She will NOT fit a group that does multiple genres and concepts

Did feel sorry for her at first but her snubbing of Choi Jungeun shows what type of girl she is even though Jungeun & partner should have won. Stopped watching after that

JUNEUNG MUST WIN OVER JIYOON!!!

Eyes Nose Lips wasn’t emotional enough for me. I don’t know what it is but something was off. The facial expressions were giving what they needed to give but their voices didn’t have enough emotion behind it. The bridge was too dead and it didn’t build up and become more powerful like it was supposed to. The end of such an emotional song should be finished strong but they kept it soft throughout because it goes beyond their vocal capabilities. Jungeun and Fuko blew me away with their vocals it made me emotional. It was more powerful and you could feel what they were feeling. It wasn’t just something everybody expected, they exceeded their limits.

I prefer stronger vocals and that’s not what they gave. As someone who’s been listening to the original Eyes Nose Lips so many times since its release, I guess I was just a bit disappointed that they couldn’t get the emotions across. I’m a sucker for bridges but the bridge was not bridging. I absolutely love Jiyoon’s voice but the overall performance just wasn’t the best to me. TO ME.

@@assia2927 The bridge and ending of the song is not supposed to be soft. You need to listen to the original. It becomes heavy, strong, and emotional in the end and you can hear it in taeyangs vocals. It’s supposed to sound like a painful cry. I don’t expect that at all from the girls because they are inexperienced, but that is exactly why I didn’t like their performance more.
