I will wait until there is a review and buying through kickstater is strange as Eufy is an established large company, you who live within the EU also waive the 2 year statutory warranty. Then I wouldn't use any bot to wipe up liquid spills of any kind, but looks good in a commercial!

From other reviews, it looks like the vacuum port is high enough that liquids don't get sucked in. Chunkier messes like spilled tomato sauce has caused a very, very tiny amount to get on the vacuum brush bar, but not enough to cause any problems. Seems like everything has been really well thought out with the S1 Pro and I can't wait to get mine. It'll be replacing my Roborock Q Revo which has meh vacuuming performance, is only average at mopping, and has truly awful obstacle avoidance. The S1 Pro is going to be a major upgrade.

Another reviewer said there is no way to turn it onto Mop only therefore you are hoovering up liquid which will obviously famage your hoover so this video is misleading

I've been watching every review for the S1 Pro as I am anxiously awaiting mine, so maybe I can help answer your question. From what I've seen in other reviews it doesn't get any liquids on the vacuum brush bar, but things like tomato sauce with chunks will cause a very small amount of the tomato chunks to get in the brush bar. It's not enough to cause any issues though and that really only happened with chunky tomato sauce from what I've seen. Peanut butter, milk, etc. don't seem to make contact with the brush bar though. Another thing I've noticed is the side brush seems very good at staying clean even when it spins through liquids or other messes. Other robovacs's side brushes get dirty and stay dirty when they spin over something messy, but somehow the S1 Pro seems to clean itself in a way.

I love this vacuum and what it offers. but then i kept doing research and i ran across the Migo Ascender this thing is next level.

The Migo can climb the stairs, but its mop is basic. The eufy’s mop is superior among all other robots

The Migo looks good on paper but nobody knows how it will perform. There is zero reviews on their mobile app, vac, mop, software/firmware performance, warranty etc. A lot of money and trust to put into a new company.

@@skillz2tthemaxx157 Another thing I noticed with the Migo is that due to the lifting arms, it doesn't vacuum right up to the edge on stairs when moving side to side. This results in the middle of all of your stairs being clean, while the left and right sides will still have plenty of dust collecting there that never gets touched. Seems great in theory, but in reality it doesn't seem nearly as good as it was expected to be.

It's called marketing. Good products without marketing are just good products. Good products with marketing are good products that sell. Once established as a reputable robovac competitor, Eufy can them back off the marketing.

Eufy also specifically has some customer trust to win back between brazenly handling private data to their early robos not being as robust or repairable as cheap roborocks. They need marketing to save their asses lol
