It's a great camera. The one I started off with on my fuji journey. I often shoot with it on my photo walks doing street photography. I haven't used it much for client work, but I don't plan on selling it anytime soon.

I love X-Trans II sensor, its my favourite. I have the XE2 and the XT1 and they share the same sensor, i use manual lenses with them and its pure photography joy.
Very happy with my xt1. On the expanding rubber casing , I just have popped strips of black duct tape along those edges. Adds a bit of personalised DIY punk aesthetic to it. My two main gripes are changing iso dial often results in changing shooting modes. I have used duct tape again to keep it in single shutter mode. And I wish the back screen articulated like the xt2 for portrait orientation. Otherwise great camera.

I think everyone who owns a XT1 will agree
I love my XT1, and although it is 10 years old, (came out in 2014), it takes better photos then all of the other Fujifilm cameras due to its sensor and it not having the Anti-Aliasing Filter. I have videos on this camera on my channel and my next video on it will show the tricks on how to make this camera look better than a Leica. No more said ... just watch the videos.
Would you grab one for yourself as well?
Definitely not for someone like me who wants a camera that does everything but I like the reviews on it, seems like a good camera…what confuses me is, why would Fuji cameras become pricier with time when a new camera is probably more advanced than the previous one…I hope I make sense in my question

A new camera does not give you better pictures all the time, especially when you compare them to the XT1.
I would still pick up this camera anyday

People like the XT1 for the Xtrans 1 sensor. It is supposed to be very film like. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
