Great! If you’re fortunate enough to have access to legal organic bud, it’s the best option (especially if you can grow and DIY). Unfortunately millions of folks are limited to hemp, and organic hemp derived THC is all that’s currently available for now.

Yes, it is total bullsh🙄t. Dispensaries are just selling people hemp and giving them this rationalization about THCa converting to THC. While it does convert and give you a weak buzz, it's nothing like smoking real weed, & it hurts your lungs.

Need some help here: am I correct in thinking that a 10mg hemp-derived THC gummy with .3% Delta 9 will not be as powerful as a 10mg marijuana-derived gummy from a strain with say, 15% THC concentration. I would think the marijuana gummies in legal medicinal and recreational states are more potent than hemp-derived ones in non-legal states. Otherwise, why bother with marijuana edibles when hemp-derived are equal in terms of dose and effect. They can't be. Sure, you can eat a ton of .3% gummies, but I can't believe that a 10mg hemp derived gummy is equal in potency to a 10mg marijuana gummy. Someone please straighten me out. Thanks!

This is a great question. Theoretically 10mg is 10mg and the term hemp is only a legal term, so they would be equal in terms of mg measurements. But it really depends on what other compounds are in there as well and how accurate the lab testing is. When it comes to the inclusion of other cannabis compounds, some hemp gummies may pack a more diverse mix of cannabinoids. People often take 1/4 or1/2 of the dose of the gummies I like because they’re full of so many other cannabinoids and compounds that people find themstronger compared to gummies in dispensaries. Most gummies in dispensadores are made with a stripped down concentrate called distillate, which is more palatable, but is kind of a one man band. Now… If we lived in a perfect world, all lab tests would be created equal and we could rely that a 10mg gummy is always a 10mg gummy. But testing is so far from being consistent and there are different regulations for lab testing from state to state and for hemp markets and regulated cannabis markets. It varies a lot. So theoretically yes, they should be the same, but in reality, they probably won’t be.

I bought some at my smoke shop. Ten milligrams of delta 9 plus ten of CBD. I have no tolerance I don't smoke. I took 2 the first night and was flying

But is it safe tho? That’s my main concern.. because I’ve tried delta 9.. looks similar (without any seeds at all), tasted nothing like the real MJ.. effects are kinda similar but not quite..

It's likely safe... it's just that they're using a legal loophole and it's so confusing for people.

Doctors and insurance companies don’t like getting cutout from money making. People are forced to self medicate (and probably better off) when they’re able to tweek and correct to find where they want to be. With no insurance company telling them what they need or what they wont pay for and the doctor being the gatekeepers, it’s the medical industry that makes this difficult. I’m for private companies drilling down into this as a whole industry, and make this known to all and for all. Capitalism would bring it out into the light.

Too me there’s nothing stony about this farm bill hemp thc-a ditch weed , I’m going to have age this crap for eons for it to break down (decarb ) to the regular thc if it ever will… complete waste of money and lungs! I’m going back to the smoke that works
