@Calebe Souza Now, I didn't say that he thought it's bad. Checkmate Though, yes, it's like an average game, I agree. One of the biggest reasons why I like it, is because when it was released, I got a 3DS as the first in my class at school and a few months later 50% of the class got one lol. We played these games together etc, those were some good times.

Well, 3DL is a handheld and mario maker is mainly based off console games. Albeit, the superball flower exists, but that's just a reference. 3DW being the console game in the "3D" series made more sense. Also there are many more movement options in 3DW whilst the movement in 3DL feels a bit stiff and on top of that, translating 3DL to 2D would've killed a lot of the charm of the game. 3DW already had 2D sections and elements like the shadow level in world 2 that didn't hurt the movement. It also might have to do with the fact that movement in 3DW has 360° control on the left stick while the movement in 3DL is limited to 8 directions with some leeway on the 3DS control stick. If Nintendo ever makes another handheld, I would love to see a Mario Maker that specifically focuses on handheld titles but until then, I don't think 3DL will be in a Mario Maker game. But I could be wrong. We'll see what happens I guess.

It may be a bad game compared to all the other 3D Mario games, but this game has a special place in my heart as part of my childhood

A few things: 1: Boos have coins, but you need stars. 2: In 4-Airship, theres another section on top of the ship

Just want to point out that 4-🚢 wasn't possible Nathaniel. There are 2 alternate routes to take, and no matter which route you take, you cannot get the coins from the other.

I like this game a lot. To me, 3D World feels like a made for 3D game, but 3D Land feels more like a 2D game made 3D. It's pretty unique!

I honestly think having the special worlds as the normal game would've improved this overall. Some would have to be changed for difficulty, but it could've been a fun challenge instead of a game beaten in 1 hour.

Super Mario 3D Land is my FAVORITE mario game

honesty this might be one of my favorite mario games, its so chill and fun. really hope we get more games like this in future, alongside the other types of 3d mario

today i finished replaying my whole mario collection. finishing with this game, and it was pretty fun. so underrated

8:06 those spikes have coins too, you will need the statue leaf for have them.

Gotta say, the mystery boxes still look like they could be possible. Don't think I could do it, but someone like a speedrunner should be able to do it, I think...I hope.

This game holds s special place in my heart because it was the first game I played on the 3DS

Last time I was this early, Mario Bros games didn't have "New" in the title.

Even if this could be possible I remember that there is 23 coins out of bounds no one has been able to get.

Can we all appreciate how Nathaniel had to learn a speedrun strad in order to beat this challenge?
