I remember when I was younger, my brother had completed the entirety of this game. And me, being extremely stupid, I deleted all of the save files! And we struggled for years to complete the game again. Luckily, a few years later, I completed the game again while unlocking World 4 and 7. Also I unlocked all secret exits.

As soon as I saw the title for this video, my thoughts immediately went to 8-2, and the two hours i spent trying to walljump to the top without pressing the switch as mini mario when I was a kid. It's a shame to know exactly where and why a run will die ahead of time, but I was still very entertained, as usual! god this game is my entire childhood im obsessed with it even still, wish they’d bring the concepts from it back, had a lot of really neat things like multiple different bosses (not just koopa kids) and new mechanics and stuff. such a great game

You don't have to. You can tap the screen to go to another world, play a random level and then tap back on world 1 and you'll be at the mushroom house!
