Back at the PS3 days I downloaded the Minecraft demo. It let you play in a big tutorial map, you started in a castle and could explore the whole map later. I don't remember the time limit it had but I discovered that you could play co-op, and if player 2 entered the game, player 1 could open the pause menu and the game wouldn't end even when the timer hit zero. I used to spend whole days playing with my friends, we connected 4 controllers and let player 1 on pause to play freely. Even if the progress didn't save, it was a lot of fun as it was my first Minecraft experience

Huh, I didn't know you could do that! Also the timer was 30 mins IIRC. Something I discovered was that you could spawn the wither with heads from the banner room and soul sand from the farm room

Damn this was a good attempt, such a shame how unlucky you got at the end with like almost all your pearls breaking and then blazes didn’t drop their blaze rods and endermen not dropping pearls. This was a good video, i’m subbing, hopefully your next challenge goes better

if you want to play multiplayer on demo you can open to LAN then turn on cheats once you have cheats type in chat "/kick Player" to kick yourself out of your own world this will drop you into the multiplayer screen allowing you to join any cracked mc server 1 big caviat though is that your name is "Player" and you cant change it so only 1 person can use demo in any given server

I remember the demo, just watching the timer go down. The furthest I ever got was to the point where I made a farm with stone tools. Good memories.

The farthest I got on the demo was Diamond boots and full iron with like a stack of food

you should consider looting a bastion for plenty of gold to trade with piglins. while their rates are worse than on 1.16.1, it would still *signifcantly* speed up the process of getting enderpearls and, depending on the bastion, could easily get you over a stack of pearls in minimal amounts of time.

Here before this blows up. Someone need to beat the game like this, come on, it's practically possible.

I think it’s possible you just need to be more cautious when exploring dark places or places at night.

Speed runners reset seeds to the point they need a program to run 12 seeds at the same time and scan them all. Then they probably reset 12 more times and repeat. That’s how they do it in under 6 minutes bc of a godly seed. I feel this guy could have beet the run if he just ate his bread lol. He wasn’t eating when he was low so the blaze killed him really quick.

Btw 1.7 used to be free. It might not be anymore bc I haven’t checked, but in 2021 before I had bought Java I played 1.7.2 and there was no timer and you could even create multiple worlds.

I’m pretty sure the demo always has the same seed, so if you try again it’ll be easier since you know where things are

Bro when I was a little kid and got a new laptop Minecraft was already installed in it and I played it for the first time with out no guides and this was when villagers houses were 1 block higher then normal, and I found out u can brick dirt and so I always brick mountain of dirt with just my hand and make a dirt house 10 by 10 next to the village house AND ALWAYS WHEN I am almost done the game said the time expired and put me in spectator mode and I never knew why and watching this video I now know it was the demo mode this hole time thank you so much😃❤️❣️

legend of Zelda players has also done the same in the older ssbu there's a Zelda free trial and they did the same

This is just a speedrun where you have a limit of 1 hours and 40 minutes.

speedrunning the game in 1h 40m is really easy, just dont go into caves for like half the time and instead focus on shipwrecks, ruined portals and buried treasures for loot

I remember when i had the mc demo i would see how far I would get in the 100 mins then each time id make a new world to progress even further like trying to get a highes score possible in the time limit (by progression i mean like sick base or diamond and stuff)

hmmm maybe thats a good idea

i beaten the demo while using a bug specific in only 1.16.1 no other versions them this one you could play on the demo world infintely by save and quiting them re joining your timer well reset and you well have to chnage your difficulty again cause it resets that to normal mode. I used it to beat the game and get elytra sadly it does. Not save progress when you decide to go to sleep irl and turn off your pc it just resets and also any version before 1.3 was not demo and was free with no time limit i used to play beta a lot when i only had demo now that i have the full game i play any version i want

When you loot the buried treasure, take the potion first, drink it, and then you can loot the rest peacefully.
