Ehh, the newer games range between not having many rupees required to needing ridiculously high rupee counts. I'm pretty sure breath of the wild would have a low rupee count, unless their are some rupees on the plateau I'm forgetting about. A link between worlds, however, would be ridiculous, due to the fact that you need to buy all your abilities from Ravio's shop. It would still be interesting to try though, as the way to do it with the least amount of rupees would be to rent all the items instead of purchasing them, and then never die... At all. You die once, you have to rent the items again, and that would cost more rupees. It would be an interesting challenge run, to say the least.

Hey Mr Brightside! It’s a part of one of my older series called Play by the Rules which is a self imposed challenge show. 9:29 Actually, if Toadette die after you reach last part of this stage (after last cannon), she will reappear there with 0 coins. If I am not mistaken, you must kill only two Koopas, which are on the other side of bridge (so the bridge come down). Which means you beat this stage with only 2 coins.

Yarn-balls are your eggs. Coins, Flowers, and Spools(?) of Yarn are collectibles.

You should make more variety content like this not just Minecraft videos

It's amazing seeing you progress with your content, and i'm always waiting to see what's next. I really like the variety the channel provides without deviating from the core content (gaming). Keep up the amazing work and know you have at least one diehard fan!

Imagine my surprise when I thought I was editing the newest Gamechamp video for the NicoBBQ channel - only to see that it was mine in the first place! Craziness ahah Thanks for checking this one out, Masahiro!

I ended up damage boosting through in the final captain toad level of 3D World purely because I forgot about the last fan platform. Accidental coinless.

I remember that I beat the one in 3d world with the lava without going to the clouds (because I didn't know it existed) and did something where I lost my bigness and used my invincibility to just get by. I need to play it again to refresh my memory. EDIT: You blow to stun the piranha plant, then run around it, but it only works when you are big

The orbs are called fish eggs i think, and yes while enemy killing is mandatory, world 4 is skip able and i'm sure there's probably some nightmare tricks. Check the speedruns and between them and ingenuity a minimal orb run should be in the double digits

great idea!

here's a challenge worth your time, it was certainly worth mine: Super Mario Odyssey... without access to controllers that AREN'T faulty. to get the experience that I got personally, the left joystick has to have leftwards drift, and the right joystick has to have very rare rightwards drift. Also, sometimes the joysticks aren't sensitive enough, and sometimes they're too sensitive.

Hey, I actually do got something for the final captain toad level in 3d world. I discovered this on accident- the timing is really tight, but it's actually possible to freeze the fireball in the piranha's mouth for a second and then when you release it, I don't know why this happens, but it 'loses ownership' of the fireball and is killed by it. If that happens, the coin drops in the lava.

Are the 3ds version and the switch version the same?

Not exactly. The 3DS version has less coins and enemies due to hardware limitations - I’d recommend that version for a minimum coin run, but no version is possible completely coinless. Thanks for the question, EGG! Good to hear from you

I know the day was coming but I was scare of people running out of coinless run. an such. I injoy the way people come together to help do this. never was a big Mario game player but like watching it. feels deffent.

Im not sure if this has been pointed out before (probably has as the game literally suggests to do this as a side mission) but with 3-2 you can go across the seesaw platforms without getting launched, climb a ladder and walk past or potentially damage boost through the spikes Keep up the good videos I love your determination to complete every ridiculous challenge set in your path to becoming the true tutorial skipper Challenge suggestion: Smash ultimate world of light without spirits in battle Edit: this is probably my very first serious comment ive done lol

Also as an extra detail I forgot to mention, with 3-21 you can turn off your light to avoid any potential coins by killing ghosts although it may not affect the star killing them I have some ideas for the odyssey levels you couldn't complete mostly my main idea considers both levels, this idea being to get frame perfect dropping or dodging depending on where the coins are situated considering that the 3d world stages were meant to give you those coins to progress further into the stage I cant really say anything about them except for the piranha plant damage boost thing. if you haven't realised a solution or been sent one I shall try to complete it and @ you 👍

In 3-2 (on Switch version at least) you don't have to kill them - bah, it's required not to kill them for 100% run, as it's the extra challenge issued by the game.

13:00 A COIN IS A COIN! I know someone else probably said it already, and i know it doesnt matter, but still, you needed to collect at least 1 coin to get to those points. Its like the sly cooper coinless run, where there was a way to roll back the coin counter there, and it was banned. I know that it isnt too serious, but the semantic police had to show up at some point.

Well for Super Mario 3d World Wii U version there is a way just swipe your stylus towards the fireball from the piranha plant and it bounces off. Now just make it hit the piranha plant and the coin might fall into lava (I managed to do it) or if not I think it will disappear, I'm not sure if it will disappear though... after you do that just finish the level.

You can beat the final Captain Toad level in 3D World by using the touch screen to reflect the Piranha Plant's fireball back at it. I do it at the beginning of the level in all my speedruns of the "collect every star" category but that's mostly just to get the plant out of the way so I don't die. So I don't know if the coin eventually despawns but if not, all you have to do is avoid it. Unfortunately, I don't think this reflect technique works on Fire Bros. or you could skip more coins in Toadette's final level.

It is possible to beat the final 3D world stage by using the invincibility frames. That's actually how I beat the level because I didn't realize the intended way until after I beat it.

3-2 can actually be beaten without killing any of the spikes. The level's challenge is even completely based around just that. You see those ladders? Wait until the spike throws its spike ball and it falls off the seesaw, then run across to the ladder. If you're quick enough, you can make it across and onto the next section without having to take damage.

I have an idea for the pirahna plant kill, so in 3D world if you jump on an enemy you get a coin, HOWEVER if you kill them with a projectile like a fire flower they drop it on the ground and it despawns after a bit, now you can’t collect fire flowers as toad BUT I’m pretty sure that if you tap the fire ball that the piranha plant shoots it reverses it and sends it towards the plant, killing it. I’m not sure if it would drop the coin on the ground from that but if anyone wants to try it

10:45 you can beat the level without killing any spikes (at least on the wii u version), even the bonus level challenge is to complete it without killing any.

JUST USE SOME AMIIBO! *cough wedding mario cough* (it skips to the bonus levels, meaning that you can tell your friends you hacked it)
