Personally, I’m not a huge fan of this format. I can see shorter vids working, especially if they’re similar to old school espn style highlights show. I enjoy your voice as the announcer of a college team rather than a gamer controlling what’s happening. I’m interested to see your next video but I hope your able to inject more of your voice and personality rather than just a recap of what’s on screen.

I didn't feel as excited for the team win because of the format. Just my 2 cents!

Interesting new format, wouldn't mind seeing these a few times mixed in between the traditional longer episodes. Much of the allure comes from your genuine reactions and personality coming through the "in the moment" gameplay reactions. Though I dig changing it up now and again. Glad to see you taking chances and willing to try something new!

Glad you like them! I'm thinking of adding occasional live reactions to this format to build suspense and tell the best story I can

I felt like I couldn't get invested in the game with this format. I felt like I was watching highlights on SportsCenter, which if that's the vibe you want then you got it. But for the biggest win in MKU history so far, and the rivalry with ECU, I felt like I missed out on the drama, the suspense, and the enjoyment.

I’m disappointed with how this video turned out. If my audience was mostly 14-21 it would have been much better but I didn’t consider that my audience is mainly 21-30

They will be longer in the future and my new editor and I are still working on the style. My data suggests that people aren't making it through the games which was affecting my performance. I wanted to make a change

Interesting switch and one I thought about doing as well for the better retention. Good luck with it, man! I like it. People underestimate how long and thought out these scripted commentary vids can be. Nice work. (but I do get the complaints, I like live drama as well - that's valid, just not to KZread's algorithm. 😂)

It's the first time I've tried this in awhile and we're still working out the style. Each vid will be around 8-10 minutes. Unfortunately, long content simply isn't performing anymore.

I'm not a fan of this at all. It's dull, there's no drama or storytelling. It's one step up from a box score! Any drop off on the older format is probably from having the prospect spotlight or just management stuff after games.

New format is great will miss the true play by play but maybe seismos can be streamed at a set time on twitch then vids(this version the compact well narrated highlights) uploaded at another point later so we could see things like recruiting and hear those terrific one liners in play by play

Tell you what, while idk how this will feel with current games. You should do this for a end of season recap on the most important game series for a dynasty that you are doing cause it’s a great idea for that.

I know you’ve gotten mixed reviews on this video but this video felt way too quick. There is just too many creators out there to choose from for just quick highlight reels. I watch yours for the depth. It’s difficult to get that with highlights with max 3 minutes a game. If it’s just a matter of time to create the video (because I get busy schedules with school and making KZread videos and whatever) I would suggest doing only 1 game an episode. You can still get the depth in the video and still have a shorter video. Just a suggestion though.

I am a great fan of your content still

Yeah not digging this game highlight recap with post-commentary. There's no high drama that makes watching sports great.. even moreso with the gaming style such as you and NTE do, getting to know and loving certain players. This style would be better as an end-of-season recap and you may have had technical issues with audio recording or just didn't have the time and feel like you need to get out more videos quickly, but I'm hating this.. especially since you kept it decently close against these highly ranked teams. Hopefully you return to the old format soon or next season.

We’re just testing out how it goes and what it could be. I want to still make the live comm style that I’ve been making, but there’s no denying that the digital landscape is shifting away from the NTE style stuff. Even NTE is reconsidered his content strategy because you have to adapt or die. I would like to find a way to mix both

As you said in the community post: This feels off. Too much yt algorithm. It felt like a reading of a game summary in double speed. No (felt) connection to the video clips, no emotional engagement on my side. This win should mean something, but it does not move me. I was barely holding interest.

You didn’t have to remind me of the double doink. It still hurts as little bit. 🥲
