Has your disability ever gotten in the way of you finding love? Is it difficult to talk about relationships with others?
We went to The Purple Parade last month to get Singaporeans’ views on finding love as a PWD, and how we can make it easier to talk about dating and romance with them.

I've always wondered how hard it is for PWDs to broach the topic of relationships during stuff like CNY, so hearing that they're also eager to talk about it openly makes me really happy!

We were a little nervous to talk about it too but thankfully all 3 profiles were super open and happy to share :') - Jia ling (producer)
The story that hit me the most was about Pearl. Due to her disability, she feels the need for love and affection. I think she looks like a sweet girl whom I know there will definitely be a guy who will love her as she is! Don’t give up! 💪🏻

I'm sure she didn't mean that they didn't literally see has as not female but rather that they treated her as "other." They didn't treat her like they treated other girls. Unfortunately this is really common.
I'm disabled and am seeking a woman who wants to serve God and who also wants to be loved. Any single women, please let me know. Thank you.🙏
