When they are puppies you can’t wait for them to grow up and calm down, but when they get old you would do anything to see them as a puppy again. It’s hard but enjoy it while you can ❤

Having a Romanian rescue who was 7months when he arrived and another dog who we inherited when he was 8 months, I was spared the tiny puppy days, so it sounds like you've been smashing it despite the lack of sleep! River seems like such a good girl already and she's not even a year old ❤️ Looking forward to seeing more of her as she grows, you're the best dog mum!

As an assistance dog trainee owner who deals with people ignoring your requests to ignore them when they jump, my advice is only introduce people you know will listen to you. Good luck on your journey! P.S would love more rat videos!

Omg she's grown so much! I think we were quite lucky with our dogs that they were near the end of their teething phase when we got them, but they were a little mouthy because that's the only way they knew how to play as they were raised with just other dogs lol

This is awesome. My 10 year old has rats and we have been watching your videos for a long time so she could learn more about her rats and you have been so helpful with that. Now we have been on a waiting list for a good long while for a Toller from a certain breeder and to see you now have a Toller I just think that is amazing! Thank you so much for being so entertaining and informative for my two daughters to watch and learn.

I understand that U are such a great pet owner, your extraordinary, constructive mindful approach to raising a dog will probably have a different result from what others are predicting, for when River reaches puberty. Just remember to visualize the behavior U most wish to experience. I'm hoping Ur loving efforts are paying off. Keep up the Great job. 😊

Whiskey is my first dog and he is naturally a good boy. Very quiet for a toller. When I first got him he was 12 weeks old and he now 9 months. It has been challenging at first but it got better please keep in mind every dog is different also the breeder you choose matters. Mine grew up on a big farm so he came pretty socialized already. Toller puppies are a lot of work but so much fun and amazing just be consistent with training and always practice recall training every day. My advice is any time they come to check in or come by give em a treat. If your just on the couch call em over and give them a treat. If they already coming to just chill call em over anyway and give them a treat. Mine at 9 months old doesn't leave my side and always comes when i call. Its been a dream not having to have him on leash all the time. Tollers are not for everyone. If you want a dog you can bring everywhere and have an active lifestyle there perfect. If you want a dog that can just chill and cuddle these are not the right dog for you. Just to clarify an hour a day of exercise isn't enough. I do 10 miles of hiking with maybe 3 miles of running and still has unlimited energy and wants to play just so you have an idea of how much energy they really have I still have yet to see him tired

I won't have a dog again.. because.. my dog is the dog of my life and I don't see myself with any other dog. He's a 15 y old Pomeranian, super sharp and still active and playing. He costs me tons of money and I'd put twice that amount if he could live another 10 years

I expect you have done this already are you wearing an emergency medical dog in training, please keep a distance, I have an autistic son so I was training a yellow lab, she was trained to get him away from loud noises, panic attack’s with his medication, she was a family dog she came everywhere with us. Sadly she was ten years old and she had a longtime with meds, she wanted to snuggle with Harry but she couldn’t move as she was so swollen, the vets were amazing they had candles outside and everyone was quiet, I sobbed so hard my dad did try to stop me crying, they handed me a rose plant with her name on! It took months we were all devastated! I do think other dog owners cause difficulties they don’t seem to care about other dogs, they cause a lot of problems as their dog running towards us whilst everyone had leads on but you get the odd ones, I live in Wales and I love living surrounded by fields, woods and mountains if you are fit, one woman has been reported lots of times as she likes to push her dog in the canal, he screams with fear, I am looking forward to meeting her, poor dog! 😀

I got a pointerdor rescue from Cyprus. We got him 4month old. Did all the training and he was absolutely brilliant..... Till puperty hit 😅😅😩 so i totally feel you 😂 unfortunately wasn't able to have him before 4 month so can't really relate to that... But puperty is a looot to handle 😩😩😅😂😂😂😂for mine one it started at 10 month and now he's 14 month... Last 4 month were hell 😩 obv. Still love my little monster and he trys he's best fighting his Hormons 😂 but yea i agree with everyone that a dog in puperty is a big big handful.. If not 6 handfuls 😂 they so make it up to you with all they're love. So it's hard to "be mad" I love all his phases and looking forward for many more 😊 (just hope I'll get a rest for a day 😂😂😂) just kidding love your videos and you got such a cutie 🥰🤗

There’s a pointerdor in our puppy class and she’s so smart but also wild lol. I think I’ll be okay with puberty as long as she still loves me, it was hard to feel like she did when I couldn’t really get that close to her, now she loves a cuddle even if she does head butt me in the process 😅

I went to puperty too and might have caused some hadeach to my parents too 😂😅

To be fair, if she's 5 months and the biting has already calmed down, I would say that's not so bad. Our husky took 9 months, even with working with a professional trainer. 🤦 We were so exhausted from all of the repeatitive advice everyone was giving us.

People not listening to you is sooo frustrating! My dog was abused by a man and when he was little we were trying to get him more comfortable around them. we had a builder come and we told him, ignore the dog let him sniff you don't make eye contact etc, he literally went "but i'm fine with dogs"! and we were like yes but ours won't be fine with you! He still ignored at and ultimatly got barked at (nothing more thankfully). he's a lot better now, but even if i'm trying to train him in public and i tell people to keep dogs away etc they still yell he/she is friendly! 🤦‍♀It's very unhelpful
