Many of the greatest scientific and medical discoveries started with “fortunate accidents “ thar took meticulous testing, practice and experimentation in order to fully understand and apply consistently .Your videos emphasise the same requirement, to experiment, understand, and apply. Thank you so much for sharing and redirecting my thoughts about my photography.

Hi Eva, I never gave much weight to the ICM technique but now, thanks to the videos of artists like you, Alyce Bender, Charlotte Bellamy etc. , I'm becoming more and more passionate about what I consider to be an art form in all effects.

Most definitely an artistic art form. Anyone who has tried this form of art will confirm that it is quite a challenging endeavor. Yes, you might get a happy accident once in a while but when the vision you have of the final outcome doesn’t happen it becomes a challenge to figure out what went wrong, what went right, what settings need to change and what movement needs to change. It’s quite a combination of things that combine to create a beautifully executed ICM image. Lots and lots to learn ❤

Definately an art form, as you practice, you get better results on your compositional expectations.

Hi Eva, ICM probably did start as a fortunate accident but, it took one person to see ICM as an art form and developed it from there. Don't listen to the Naysayers, if we do; what is the point of living. I enjoy your videos Eva they are a great source of inspiration. Thank you.

@petergulliver3225 Thank you so much for your kind words and your thoughtful perspective! You're absolutely right; sometimes, the most incredible things in life come from serendipitous beginnings. I truly appreciate your support and encouragement-it means a lot to me

I think people who criticize this approach are just looking for something to complain about, honestly. I mean, is a painting not art because an artist used a special kind of paint? Does music stop being music if it's improvised, or would improvisation actually be the purest form of artistic expression?

Absolutely! It's refreshing to see someone who appreciates the diversity of artistic expression. Whether it's in painting, music, or any other art form, the process and the choices made by the creator are what contribute to its uniqueness and beauty. Criticism often stems from a narrow understanding or rigid expectations, but embracing different approaches only enriches our understanding and enjoyment of art. Well said!
