The song was initially given to Zayn to sing by Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff, the writers. Zayn actually asked Taylor to be in it she then wrote her part alongside Sam Dew and Jack Antonoff.

Actually zayn wrote the song and invited taylor to collab.. and when she came in she got into the writing as well so in a way they co-wrote this banger! Honestly I hope we get another Zayn X Taylor colab!

So, the director of movie and ZAYN both have confirmed that this song was offered to ZAYN and he was asked to choose any female vocalist for the song , he recorded it and co-wrote it (although he isn't given the writing credit idk why) he showed his demo( that demo is available on KZread too)to Taylor she really liked it and wanted to be in the song , Taylor mentioned in the bts too that she hangout with him so she was comfortable working with him she wrote her part( has the credit) . One clip also surfaced online from 2010 while he was in one direction where he is randomly singing "I wanna live forever" in same tone uploaded at channel 1 d shorts. Everything I wrote has their videos, interviews, clips on KZread u can do your research if u are in doubt.

For your eras tour clarification: 1989 set comes before acoustic set so the dresses over the outfit are color coded to the 1989 set. You saw red (pink) in the TET doc and red dress. This is orange into yellow dress🙏🏻🥰💜

Another amazing artist who is underrated is Stephen Sanchez. A truly beautiful voice and it’s not modern either. His work reminds me of the 70’s type of music with the sounds used. The best song he’s known for is “Until I found you” but my favourite album of his is “Angel Face”. Definitely a must listen!!!!!
