    Having fine and curly hair has to be a curse. It's so difficult to style curly hair already but when it's curly AND fine, it feels like an uphill battle when you're trying to make it look good.

    theres a massive problem i dont see mentioned alot which makes fine hair a complete deal breaker especially as someone who has it. no amount of product and i mean that no amount of product is going to keep a style for longer than 20 minutes. its so easilly influenced by even a slight breeze that even walking too fast will completely tear through even the toughest of hair sprays or gels. u can “style it easier” sure, but it’s superficial if it doesnt have any staying power theres a reason we scult with rocks and minerals instead of bubbles. ill always wish i had thicker hair. id rather deal with a sweaty scalp than an inability to genuinely style

    Add that to the fact that literally noone makes content or instructional for our hair type and it's a fucking nightmare. I used to put SO much product in during my short hair days just to not have that flat thin hair look that makes all genitalia shrivle and even then it just made me look bad because of the amount of product. Long hair and dealing with the downsides of long thin hair has been my answer for almost 10 years now

    This. Have thin, extreemly fine baby hair. Walking fast/breeze completely destroys it in seconds. Doesnt hold volume at all and the frizz is crazy. My only reedeming factor is my hair is wavy. Wish i was born with Thick Coarse hair so i could dye it and have crazy volume while being super long

    My hair is exactly like the dark-haired fringe “emo-cut” mannequin you showed when left to its own devices. Lots of density, but very fine individual hairs. On the one had I wish I could do that effortlessly voluminous and texturized look that thick-haired folks seem to achieve with ease. But I have found the modern slicked-back style (grown out top and sides styled to the back but with a matte-finish product) to work quite well with my hair type because it lays down and flows nicely without “poofing” out at the sides. Might be something to consider for some of you who have faced similar struggles.

    You still many be losing hair and most likely that is the case to some extent. Majority of men suffer from a certain amount of androgenic alopecia. How much you lose over your life is another story but most likely what is happening is some of your hairs are miniaturizing due to DHT sensitivity and you can see more scalp as a result. If that process continues to happen then at some point you go 'bald'. It can take many years for that to play out.

  • @vlcthefish

    @vlcthefish

    @Casual 💪🥴 DHT blocking drug like Finasteride can help stop the hair miniaturizng process. There can be side effects in some people such as low libido. Typically if you take a low dosage of Finasteride(3 mg per week instead of 7mg) you can minimize risks of that.

    I have fine hair that's kind of thin but it's also very full and straight but it falls flat without any product. It pretty much sticks straight out until it gets over an inch long. What I find difficult when using products that have a high hold when they say to use on dry hair my hair will literally rip out if I don't use it when it's a little bit damp. So to anyone that thinks they're thick hair is a curse at least you can put product in it when it's dry and not worry about half of it ripping out. Mine is like the second blue hair mannequin.

But now that my friends are balding, I'm really grateful for a full head. And I can do a lot with it. The hair also stays in shape when it dries, so I can get pretty neat waves that look like someone styled them, and it lasts for days!

    Hello, I have very fine/thin hair. I’m 18 years old in high school and have been trying to figure out a good way to style it for some good time. I’ve tried a number of different products, sea salt sprays, hair drying, and more and my hair always either falls flat or looks like a pancake. If I put a bunch of product in like hairspray and clay then it stays up but it gets very very hard to move and very rough and just doesn’t feel good at all. Lately I’ve just been letting it sit without doing anything but I don’t like wearing it like this so I’m trying to find another way to style it. Any tips?

    This is what worked for me, use Thick Head Heads up hair thickening gel, apply it after shower when hair is damp, It takes a while for you hair to dry so, don't towel dry or blow dry it just let it dry with air, once dry make you hair fluffy by spreading it out the gel makes your hairs spread out and not clump

    I have thick coarse hair it's in the family,i hate it so much when I was young coz it's hard to manage and cost double in the saloon but now in my early 40's I'm super thankful,my friends are complaining about their hair getting thinner and looking limp so they're really into hair perming but mine even getting better, although thickness is almost the same but the texture has changed as it's not so coarse and wavy anymore and looking at my mom with her full thick hair at 70 years old and her 80 years old brother who never experience receding hairline and baldness I think it's a blessing.

So i always thought my hair must be thick but looking at this video it might be thin but dense
