Great video man! That is actually a bit embarrassing how bad their in-person submission process is. Like you said, rather a waste of time and effort. But congrats on the game and grade!

Really great video on the process @skul, thanks for documenting your experience. Also a helpful reference to see how harsh they were on your FF7. I always wonder how they view smaller tears on PS4/PS5 games. It's a little strange to me that they treat minor scuffing just as bad as a small tear. I'm glad you got the grade you wanted though!

Congratualtions on the grade! It would have been nice to see a few minutes of you walking around the convention to see the crowds and the dealers selling their stuff.

Personal for me, grading a video game is like grading a sealed box. Unlike a figure or card, you can't really display the actual contents of the game. You are only displaying the cardboard or plastic box the game resides in, let alone the actual gameplay itself is trapped in another piece of plastic. Now you do you, this is just my personal opinion, though if people get there hand on rare working prototypes of games it would be better to atleast dump the rom of the game before grading it to preserve that game

It’s kinda funny how they had you do a whole normal submission, kinda defeats the purpose of the con to a degree. But hey, no outbound shipping lol
