I can't wait to have more friends that are about God's business and are either doing ministry or simply the Will of God in whatever way He's called them to live that out. Being set-apart is really hard at times, and even lonely. But I believe God will change that for us sooner than we think. #KeepPersevering🔥👑

One time I moved across town, changed jobs and got a new phone number. It made a world of difference and radically changed my life, yet was only 30 minutes from my old life.

@@Greatboldness The worst regret is not doing it and then wondering what it would have been like if you had. Sometimes you just have to rip the bandaid off and run with it.

The Lord brought me out of Egypt and I'm currently camping out in the wilderness. I asked him why I couldn't move to the destination He has for me, and He let me know that I needed to be patient and trust in Him. He is using this season to prune me, removing old, dried relationships from my life and rooting a deeper trust and love for Him in my heart. Be patient and trust the Lord's timing. Still, easier said than done.

I moved to where I am now 6 years ago without consulting God. It’s been a terrible 6 years. Never found a home church, no close christian community, only a few secular friends I couldn’t relate to. A few months ago, after much prayer, I realized God purposely closed every door to me. So I’m moving in three weeks to a place that has amazing churches. Even Bible study in the beach!!

No,he wanted you to himself,if you don't fast from the world you won't find the kingdom,search the kingdom,it's inside you, put everything you think you know to the side,fast,pray and ask God to show you what you're missing or misunderstanding,he closed all my doors and isolated me,when I humbled myself and asked him why my life has been the way it's been,he began showing me things they don't teach in church, important books of the Bible were removed and some things were changed and the world was enslaved by lack of knowledge,trust me,ask God to show you what's hidden from you,the kingdom is inside of you and so is Jesus Christ,most of us has been worshipping a God outside of ourselves when were supposed to be worshipping in spirit and truth, Jesus has to be raised in you like a baby and you can actually become one with him, read John 10,the lost gospel of Thomas then check out the master key society videos on KZread and Neville Goddard is a great teacher of spirit,it won't be easy because it seems blasphemous but it's truth,he began showing me "angel numbers" everywhere and that was telling me that i was on the right path then later on i realised that the repeating numbe verses in the Bible were connected to the inward path to Christ

This teaching blessed me. As a previous member of Black church community we are taught to stay in abuse and this even spilled over in our personal relationships. While I know not everything will come with ease staying under abuse for years never felt right or a sign of righteousness as was taught to me. Forgive me if I was sounding like it’s a racial issue I was only pointing out my experience among the group I experienced it with. I want Gods guidance and sometimes traditional values that have nothing to do with God has damaged many of us.

Yeah. Those are dead churches where people of color tend to obey their pastor and not God. Move quickly. You don't need to tell them you're " moving your membership." That's manmade rules. Just leave and change your number. Start looking at everything for the next church you may join.

I'm in a very strange desert spiritually. Since March I've been in a ministerial position, and it has been the most difficult thing I've gone through in a while. I prayed to God to help me compromise in the way they wanted/needed me to, but to no avail. I finally had the hard conversation with my pastor and will be stepping down in August, especially since I will be going back to my other full-time teaching job (currently have taught all Summer in addition to ministry) and starting my Masters. I've also been fearful about the future. I feel the need to focus intensely on the ministries I do feel God has led me to, as well as school. I live with my parents which is not the best environment. The school I work at is an 1 hour + commute from my house, school being 30 min. My home makes me anxious. I'm 25 and the dreams on my heart feel so far away. I want to move (physically and spiritually) but see no open door, but idk what there is for me to do until then. I'm tired.

My advice is to prioritize what is most important first. If going back to school is not as important as getting into a healthy fellowship and finding a new place to live, I would focus on that first. But if the sacrifices are worth the cost, then proceed :)

@Shannon Matthews thank you for taking your time to reply. It's been hard to tell what stress has been allowed by God, or sent by Satan. After a conversation with my pastor I felt at peace with stepping down, but the enemy sent attacks of guilt, shame, and failure. Fighting past that, I've been looking for someone to replace me (as instructed by my pastor). As for the home situation, as much ad my heart is ready to move, the leaps I've taken have fallen flat. Miami real estate is also ridiculous lol but with that, since I'm going back to school (and that's the only door that God opened that I'm certain about) anything Ive saved for a place would go towards that. I'm a little more at ease just simply because I know I have zero control and if He ordains something, He'll make it happen.

This was a "God's timing" thing receiving this word. Thank you Lord for your written word, all these scriptures were convicting my soul to the core. I prayed about this very thing. Sometimes when you invest in people with your heart they just don't reciprocate. Thank you brother Mark and this ministry for sowing into our fellow brethren. Confirmation isn't always easy to process. I'm praying for my brothers and sisters who are alone, and don't think anyone lifts them up in prayer. I do! Oh my gosh! I felt in my spirit I needed to read the Bible. I turned to Matthew chapter 10:16, then decided I needed to read a little before that so I finished reading Matthew 10:14. This is hard to explain my side of things. I have asked God where am I needed? After a while waiting, I have soon noticed something. Something I severely dislike. Either I am blind to what God is telling me to do or he is telling me to wait or telling me I am right where I am needed. Yet, nothing here is good. The places of worship are all sinful graves and support sin. The so called friends all here are not helping in following God. As there is no way for me to move either. No job, no way of transport and no way to support myself if I were to step away from the home I am in. Yet, I yearn to grow more in faith and now wish to move both spiritual and even physical to grow faith. Yet, no way to do so. I have stomped out a lot that is sinful and yet, I sigh at these victories. As I grow older I stare helpless towards what God wants or what seems like what God wants. For so long this fruitlessness lays baren in this desert. Makes it hard to become bitter and frustrating as I am feeling like I am forced to stay still. Staring at the few fruit God has made within my life. Yet, now I want to grow that fruit and not allowed to. Watching the tree of God stand there and sway in the wind as a coming storm ravages and destroyes others homes. As I start to watch the true evil plans are given. Am I deaf or blind I ask myself. Yet, I continue to ask is this what he wants. I still do not hear him as clearly as others do. Yet, I sigh and say, in faith I got to accept he is in control. May his will be done. Amen.

Thanks for affirming what I went through. Just moved home from college after being offered and asked again and again to stay and continue living away from family to stay at my work. The work and people around me were great. I was even a part of a wonderful church, but I knew living alone or even with friends who worked an opposite schedule from me was a challenge for me. I needed my family around me to avoid/resist temptations that occurred in my thoughts. As a single guy, I always encourage having people around you and have people you can talk to about your struggles. Thanks for the great content Mark! 🤗

I will be honest I heard many preachers pushing back your channel (or other like that) talking how you shouldn’t go primarily on KZread for a sermon with 3 steps to ___ in 5 minutes. Now it’s true in some aspect but I have to say after knowing your channel for sometime you still keep posting relevant words of God and the format has its use too. So if you hear people pushing back I think just pray to be in God’s will and keep doing the good job. Thanks for the video.

Always interesting to listen to topics that have no application to my life, much more objective view of them when there’s no personal issues. Thanks Mark for helping me through a very tough relationship spot. While I’m certainly not where I want to be right now, I feel as if I have stable spiritual ground to stand on now and begin branching out to potential partners.

Just was asking God for a sign to move…and then your video pops up….. I have been watching you since I was 19-20 then lost track, but now I am 23 and your videos still help me. I was in a relationship for almost 2 years, we started at first on a good note, then we both fell into a sexual sin, but I really did not want to participate and I forced myself to with the person, but then it took over him and he started gravitating to watch soft pornography and he was more interested ( lustfully) in them, but I still “felt” that we were good together. We used to pray together etc, but everything fell apart and I moved back home. We bought each other things and seemed inseparable but things changed, and I think the enemy hated us together. Even his parents started telling us that we were not ready for marriage but we felt we were until we started listening to others which drove things apart.

Sounds like you both weren't ready for marriage and this person was not the one for you since he was living in sin and you went into with him. Just my thoughts since you asked :)

I did this with my last job just walked away, it was grieving the Spirit and I knew I had stayed longer than I should have. I'm now in a better work atmosphere and am thriving in it. I'm in good standing with my supervisors and co-workers and so far am without rebuke with both. Working on living situation and were I am in the church, I see no real growth in most churches and I know that their are better things for me than just being in a church that is stagnant and set in its ways.

Great video as usual. Struggling with some things. Could really use prayer on where God may want me to move and for Him to show me and give me wisdom and to empower me to move. Prayer in my current relationship life could be used as well. Prayers to you all, God bless.

If it is something that other people are also curious learn, would you be able to give us advice on how to find a church with an actual backbone? I know this is completely off from the usual types of relationship videos you post, but I am struggling to find a church that doesn’t adopt progressive Christianity ideas. I unfortunately live in a very progressive city with my family and it has been incredibly hard to see all the wickedness here. I have been waiting on God for a move in a town that is prone to idolatry and abortion. I do not feel connected here and my whole life is in another town. My church is there, and stepping up in ministry depends on this move. I struggle with sleeping based on lack of time due to my commute and the stress of my current living situation. My pleasure!

In 30 years God wanted me to move, He really didn't let me know, but He made me move just in time. A week after my last move, my apartment stove caught fire three times in one weekend. I could have been sleeping. Praise God!! The move was/has been painful, but what He did!!!

Im living in a place where i feel so alienated. Its challenging given that a year ago, everything was laid out nicely. Suddenly now im living in muslim country. People ridicule my thought and speech pattern. In the house that im currently renting, my housemate is not someone you would call tolerable. I really want to move out. So far God has not answered my prayers. Im clueless on where to go. Im not in a good state in terms of my spiritual walk with God. Im terrified of everyone and everything that happens Im still waiting on God. Im still waiting for something from Jesus to happen.

I... think this might be confirmation. I've been in talks with Wycliffe regarding working on translation of the Bible for unreached people-groups, but that would require me actually going overseas (I tried finding work I could do from home as I continue my education but nothing permanent has panned out so far). It's kinda scary because I'm really introverted and have never been out of the States (ironically, it's not the travel itself since I'm used to that).

that's a personal question. You may not have to move at all. feelings aren't usually changed by an environmental change. Focus on God and seek the peace he can give, Philippians 4

I don't know if you'd agree, Mark, but I urge people to also build good online Christian communities because a sound local church can be few and far between nowadays and people live in all kinds of places hostile to the Gospel. However, even that isn't the full answer. I had to withdraw from an online Christian group earlier this year after years of seeing it gradually turn into an eisegesical echo chamber clique against the warnings of many who once held it as a safe place to raise difficult, but meaningful, topics on scripture. As a more mature Christian I had stayed to try being a friend to those who were younger in the faith and needed direction so they wouldn't be led astray. However, I sadly saw Spirit-filled, new converts gradually become cold, lost and ensnared and the Admin indifferent to it neglecting the pastoral role their position gave them. Biblical orthodoxy, sound exegesis and holiness were mocked while false converts displayed evil fruit such as vileness, compromise and sacrilege as just part of "the walk of faith". No conviction for sin anymore. I figured I'd taken enough poison arrows but I felt an anger about the damage they caused to those who needed Christ. When your senses are dead you can't smell smoke and you can't feel fire; such is the way for all from whom the Holy Spirit departs. So, may God forgive them because they don't know (or sense) what they do!

I think online communities can be helpful as an addition to a good local church, but they are different and cannot offer pastoral or true Christian fellowship as God designed. The temptation is to substitute fellowship with online connection, but in the Bible there is an emphasis on gathering. the book called "One Assembly" by Jonathan Leeman is helpful

no, I don't think most of the videos in this category are good. That's why I avoid saying this or that will happen. Rather, I give biblical principles that people can apply and which can give them guidance on what God wants them to do in specific situations.
