Watching from Washington state. We’re in an unincorporated part of our county and property taxes have been very reasonable, but we too have seen the impact of rising home values. We have a cap on property tax increases of 1%; there was a bill to raise that to 3% that was just dropped (probably not the best idea in an election year). Our monthly payments are about $350 higher than when we moved in to our current house 13 years ago. Definitely one thing I will be paying (no pun intended) attention to when we move.
Still cheaper than California or New York !!! Great video as always.
