@@colbythompsonn there was no reason they had to change up the original formula so much. And then the audacity to stop updating the game after less than a year. I really doubt anymore plants vs zombies shooters are going to be made because of how hard it flopped and that makes me so sad.

The non-toxic community is very agreeable compared with other competitive games

Only Turf Takeover seems to be active. I've had issues finding lobbies on other modes. Monthly events in town hall are the only exception

this game was like the second blessing of god, mainly the second one because of my +5000 hrs on it.

I hope that they will make a real GW3. BFN was so disappointing when I first played it, it felt so much like a corporate watering down of such a great game series.

i still wanna give BFN a shot for the new characters, such as the snapdragon and TV head, but i will admit the new art style does not look appealing at all.

PvZ GW2 is that one game that will never get old, its bin 7 years ever since it got released and its feels like it all happened yesterday

I remember playing the first one almost religiously back then… still remember my favs though, the electrician and plumber variants of the engineer zombie guy… the Marine Biologist… The freeze trooper guy… and the vampire sunflower for the plants. I also remember a hot rod chomper I had though I don’t remember if it was a special variant or a skin

Same here! I got all the achievements in the first cause I loved it so much and Vampire sunflower is definitely my fav. We really need a GW3, I pray that EA gives this series another chance and take what made the second so great.

On the Xbox mixed mode and turf is pretty popular. Team vanquish is sort of underrated because since so little people play it you could do like 2 v 2 with random players.

Having last played yesterday (17th September 2023) on playstation I've found it fairly easy to find full lobbies: especially in turf takeover and mixed mode. I live in the UK and generally play between 17:00 and 23:00 in the evening. Also speedrunners music starting from 6:00 - awesome it's an underrated game.

I know I’m a few months late to this video but for anyone wondering, you practically have to queue for Turf as that’s where most players are. Also I seem to find Mixed Mode easy to find lobbies for, but this could just be a me thing! :)

Jesus, i miss this game. Massive part of my childhood, mainly the 1st one.

Turf takeover and mixed mode are the only game modes people play. There also tends to be more active players at night west coast time at 8:00-11:00pm. (Btw this for west coast servers on computer)

Last time I played, I had no problem finding games on Mix-Mode

From my friends experience there seems to be a surplus of hackers which sounds like a headache to deal with

Gw2 is still going strong. But for the consoles, gw2 pc alot of people avoid due to modders and hackers that will be in every other game. I still remember running into a guy who was using Yeti in a suburnation

on xbox it’s good, sometimes hit reg is questionable but when u look back at it it’s pretty good and normally down to ur connection if it’s not hitting

We finally got there, only took 7 years 😂😂

i restarted playing 2 days ago after 2 years, and its actually still alive because i found an almost full lobby

I loved this & GW1, I’m probably gonna play this game again for nostalgia.

Console is pretty active still

i have been able to get into full lobbies on gw1 it’s actually so nice how many people still play

On european servers I would definitely say that it is dead, however on most of the other servers you should be able to find a full game

Hey man, this is actually 400k sub quality vids, really liked the content. What you said at the end is unfortunatly never gonna happen, after de BfN fail one of the popcap locations got shut down. This location was responsible for all the shooters. We’ll never get anymore PvZ shooters antmore since popcap is now only focusing on other franchises.

In my experience on garden warfare (console) I’ve always found full lobby’s or half full lobby’s. (This is in turf takeover)

mixed mode is actually decently active in the europe region, at least on the PC version.

Bruh the Xbox version has like zero hackers and is actually still pretty populated to this day

just started GW 1 again and its just as good as I remember

console gw2 is in a way better state than the computer variant

I find on console no matter what mode I play there is usually a full or almost full game around 3 - 11

If you play on xbox you can get full GW2 lobbys quick

Last time I hopped on it, which was like a few hours ago, they deleted the character pack😖😭

Also if you want a full lobby, play Mixed Mode

Yeah lobbies on PC are hard to come by and the game is currently having server issues… But my god when you find a game, it’s heaven!!

I remember playing the game i lagged back in after 4 years

as a man who played this game for the past 7 years, i had many great memories as playing online for the first time and meeting people, this cures my sadness after finishing school and work, making friends here was a joy, and here i am still have the game downloaded, always have a smile on my face

Started playing again yesterday on Europe, everything was active

Asia servers are dead, I'm just playing in NA/EU servers now with constant 200 ping, but timezones makes it difficult for me to find a suitable timeframe where I can find lobbies

When i was little, I used to watch this game on youtube, it looks so cool and fun to play, even tho I have never played it, the graphics, the diffrent shooter, and PVZ is overall Nostalgic and beatiful, I would love to have a chance to play this game, sad that the game isn't as huge as other shooter games, In my opinion one of the coolest shooter games ever!

I think so too! It's very reminiscent of what I liked to watch and enjoy but I just wasn't able to play it. It's too sweet to see someone share an opinion on something that it's not as talked about.

i wouldnt reccomend playing this on pc unless you're messing around with mods because theres a ton of people who abuse the mod support on pc unfortunatley

I also started playing this game again, i missed the old days when i bullied Imps with party citron, so i downloaded it again last week and i’ve been getting some full lobbies (gw2) lobbies of course, not the dumb Wall-nut Hills map. But my biggest question regarding GW2 in 2023 is to see if the town hall ever will open as the countdown says "unknown"

Its funny this video came out. fee days before I jumped back into the game to. Also playing on PS5, its much more alive and active. Very easy to find a game, with occasionally dead lobbys.

You know i still play yo get all the characters, it's funny because in this Game bots with the highest dificulty are better than online players on average.
