Fuse has always been good I’ve never understood why people slept on him.

I've been maining Fuse since season 12 and he is extremely good for forcing enemies out of cover, securing knocks and just being an all around menace. With the motherload you can stop third party pushes in closed spaces, force enemy teams to run into a specific direction and counter revives. I've always thought that he's at least a B- tier legend and now with the knuckle hustler perk, he's at the very least a B+ legend. Edit: changed the first B+ to B-

I like Fuse too, but have issues with my controller drift in aiming his clusters. That is one reason I don’t run him a ton. lol

I agree, with all said here, Fuse is a Bangalore with a tactical that makes damage. Fuse can be defensive and offensive

Looking at a fuse with 2 free slots not picking the arc stars and frags on the floor is driving me crazy

One of Fuse's past Battle Pass kill quips just feels prophetic "What can say, kid. The future is Fuse."

Getting the octane treatment. I mained him since he was released and even had people leaving my game for picking a bad legend. And then all the toxic people switched over and ruined the character even more

So weird that people phrase things as "good now" when they have been unchanged for a while (Fuse, Havoc, Alternator, Sentinel)

Q speed buff made it usable close range, previously you could pay with 100+ hp by just pressing it at the wrong time.

I think it's an issue by mostly nerfing top performing champs/weapons instead of light nerfs along with small buffs on the underperformers

because it is good now because other changes around it, has allowed it to work, havoc is good now not because it got changed but everything else that could compete got nerfed (mainly smg's)

Its because bots nuthug pro players' sorry ahh sentiments and don't think for themselves.

Fuse has always been good after his initial buffs. His ability to not only pin a team down, keep pressure on, divide a team, or hold off a team from pushing is second to none. Fuse is a great assault Legend, but secretly a pretty above average defensive Legend too.

There's nothing more satisfying than to hear the knock from your knuckles clusters, of who thought they got away 😁

I absolutely loathe when they do something in the ALGS and everyone takes it as the law of the land and it ends up causing nerfs to the game

I've always liked Fuse, as nothing feels quite as satisfying to me as the rare instance where you can absolutely wreck a team with grenade spam and I like old man characters. I (used to) watch a lot of Japanese tournaments (or as they say, "custom matches"), and Fuse is almost never picked there, but when someone does pick him, he does pretty well against the camping culture there. Knuckle dusters are a huge annoyance and a source of constant, free damage (nothing game-deciding though), and the passive for more grenades and the ultimate combination can take out a pinned, whole team out of the game single-handedly. Always wondered why don't people pick him more often as an anti-camping-meta legend.

Watch Astel Leda using maggie in the recent vsaikyou tournament, he’s a menace with her in this camping culture

Fuse literally has DPS and area control all over his base kit. Even as an aimless noob, I can apply pressure and win matches so I'm surprised he wasn't meta already

I have been having a tough time with all the Fuse / Maggie the last two seasons. I really like defensive legends and just having every door torn off and traps destroyed left and right its been so hard.

Maggie's ult does a lot of damage but I like just using the speed boost pads against the mad Maggie and rushing in with those pads

I play fuse because I think he's fun. Same with Maggie. Literally free damage when you're playing with fuse. Also I love the speed boost with the knuckle cluster.

It's amazing to think people thought he was useless after he came out, but my boi Match1n was the one who got me into it when he was doing qualifiers with fuse. Will always be remembered as the OG fuse.

I main Loba and Fuse. the dopamine hit when you see a little 10 pop up after sending out a knucklecluster is so good

Fuse has always been good. Was slept on for so long. His my 2nd main when caustic is bad.

I freaking hate when all the casuals start copying everything they see in scrims/algs. Bangalore has been the epitome of a balanced legend for 5 years straight. All seasons of Apex, Bangalore was never the best, but also never bad... Then pro players use her for ALGS, now she's geting nerfed, and nerfed, and nerfed. But she has literally been the same for almost 5 years!

She’s been nerfed because of her abilities. Her smoke is strong where she could conceal her and her team or the enemy. When you add on top of that a scan legend or the now deceased digi threat, she had the upper hand in fights and there was no counter play to it unless your team also had the same tools.

I have mained Fuse since he was released in Season 8. It took all you shmucks 13 seasons to realize that he's a great legend. Now everyone wants to play Fuse.

Yep, 13 seasons of 'only bots and dads who have 3 kids play Fuse' 😂 to be fair, I don't think the mindset is down to Fuse, it's down to people not thinking for themselves. Most just play whoever streamers or pros play, I understand it but it's quite sad also. The countless hours spent on useless Wraith because of Aceu and Faide for example is a great shame

Fuse has always been a great legend. His playstyle is flexible. As an aggressive player, you can force players to move out of cover. As a defensive player, you can temporarily make areas unsafe for players or straight up make paths unpassable. Punish flankers by locking them in your ult, drop a few arc stars and they're down. Great synergy with crypto drone by making a mini seer ult. I personally play him to keep the pressure on enemies and making sure that they don't have time to reset and constantly deadslide. Been playing him so much my rough accuracy to stick a knuckle cluster to an enemy is about 90%. Pair him with ash to create a snare + arc star + knuckle cluster combo. Pair him with caustic to create a ring that punishes you for leaving the fuse ult yet also punish for staying inside the gas. Mad maggie goes well by initially pushing people out of cover with her drill only for fuse to stick them with a knuckle cluster. Fuse can also use the ult to let Maggie use her wrecking ball. Essentially punishing you if you stayed inside the ult.

To be really honest, Fuse was SOO GOOD ever since he got the 2x tactical buff like 2-3 years ago and still is. Glad to have him as a main as he absolutely lethal.

Him getting the ability to hit Ring console's with the new perk was an absolute game changer for ALGS

Fuse is alright although i havent noticed him truely change that much, with how many legends have movement abilities now, its not hard to escape the fuse ult

one of the reasons, if not THE reason, Fuse is being picked in pro lobbies is the evac tower+ultimate trick. Using them in conjunction increases the radius of the fuse ulti to such a large extent and can give prolonged wall hacks. Add the griefing potential of knuckle dusters+extra grenades u can see why he'd be a good fit for competitive apex.

Can you do a Vantage solos game

Fuse has always had massive damage potential in endgames but he was hard to slot into comp teams due to him not supply rotation or movement abilities. Now that he has the ability to use ring consoles he can be used as a defacto controller making him easier to flex in.

Fuse main here. Yes you can walk through other people's motherload and if you pick less dmg from explosives you take kess dmg from yours and other knuckle clusters. It can be a pretty op combo fr

My best friend and I have mained fuse for many seasons and that has caused a few issues but I just let her have him cause it makes her happy and i enjoy octane and even lifeline this season. I can’t wait until she has some movement.

But Charge Rifle Merchant! It’s a wonderful pairing with Rampart

Honestly, there's really no reason why Fuse has 2 tactical charges.

That's because it's very situational. Even if you stick someone, if they move or keep running they only take like 20-25 damage, it's only useful if they are in cover healing or bunched up. He had 1 charge when he first came out and he wasn't very good. Besides the ring scan now (which I don't really care about tbh) his knuckles are the only thing he has going for him

My “meta” for a long time as a Ramp main Bang 2nd is a Car and a Sentinel 👌🏻

I think with the higher pick rate of Fuse, there's a lot more Wattson's now. I wouldn't know though because I already play Wattson religiously.

Yeah it's horrible playing against Wattson's, even worse when you are in the zone and you have one on your team. I've lost many a nade to a friendly gen xd

I was playing Fuse today for a challenge and did about 450 damage within two minutes on a hot drop before dying. I never picked up a weapon. That was all knuckle clusters and two punches.

I love this as a Wattson main.

Fuse didn't become Meta good until he got the perk to reduce damage from Motherload (that people were asking for many seasons...) and the perk to move faster after hitting a Knuckle Faster.

Fuse to me is just a menace. But... his biggest flaws are his need for good positioning and high ground to get the most effective power out of his kit. Currently his ult is incredibl niche as well as just about ANYONE can just dash jump out of it with no issues, maybe taking 5 damage at best. It's not USELESS... But until the RIGHT situation comes up, it kinda is generally. Almost no situation where I and my friends have used fused ult did we ever think "Damn, so glad we had a fuse" cause we coulda achieved similar results with someone else who had more to bring to the team in the kit overall then just knuckle clusters and grenade spam. Arguably that is probably fuses strongest asset of his entire existence. Being able to carry double the grenades of any other legend. And the tweak they made long ago to allow you to use sky nades with him as well was a huge buff that was needed. No other legend is as efficient inventory wise as he is for sieging people out of cover when needed. But honestly Maggie does that job pretty well with her tactical as well...

Finally, our time to shine!

Man I just started playing with Fuse in ranked, I love everything about dude, I only play to cause chaos and Mess up my opponents plans, its my sole purpose to cause havoc on the battlefield.

In season 20 I was so close for the 4k badge when I was in ranked btw I was so focused trying my best to win and when I notice my damage I got scared and I was shaking badly and I lost in ranked I did only 3748 damage 😢😢😢 as fuse

I wish Maggie would get a new ultimate perk or perk in general, hear me out a wrecking ball that releases more speed boost and increases the push back distance by like 10%. Or as long as the drill is hurting the enemy is gives Maggie a speed boost.

You have a very soothing voice.

Every time I solo queue I pick Fuse, tired of my team mates hot dropping and slurping up every gun in the area. At least I still have my knuckle clusters. Added plus is Fuse is insanely fun to play, always has been.

it is just because his ultimate's wallhack is so usefull against bangalore in the final ring.

As a Wattson main, I have alot of fun bullying these Fuse's. I deny their grenades and Fuses typically have very bad gunskill because they are used to nade spamming, which makes them the perfect candidate for getting fenced mid gunfight. Its glorious how I humiliate these nade spamming dogs right in front of their teammates, and its always a joy to place a Nessie on their deathboxes. Its so satisfying to play a harder character that counters an easy-to-use character

Your not going to deny there grenades very often u can't run around w your ultimate up at all times, there's really good fuse players and bad fuse players just like everyone else

Fuse players genuinely are the biggest glue sniffers in the game

Fuse is fun. Especially if you solo queue.

Most yall don't even know Fuse can be a better scanner than Bloody and Seer. Especially near mountain sides or objects high overhead.

I've had to play Fuse for weeklies for couple last weeks now. Not that it hasn't been fun, but not my usual pick. Also quite ok after seeing so many ramparts in solos. I don't even play ranked or watch esports.

Fuse has been great ever since he got 2 knuckle clusters, Match1N was the best Fuse player

I'm pretty sure you have to have a Fuse in your group to play Ranked this season.

All these comments and I didn't see a single one about the exploit with fuse and evac towers. Remember to cluster glitch to get wall hacks over a huge area. That is back with evac towers pop an evac and ult it and boom you get infinite bloodhound scans for the duration of the ult.

That isn't a problem, it's literally what he is designed to do. He's a grenadier. How is any different to Pathfinder or Rev making up like 50 meters on you with a good Q and aping, you can't do that with Fuse. Every legend is situational

FINALLY people are starting to realize that Fuze is the most annoying legend to fight (not counting horizon mains). He has unlimited AOE grenades that he can just spam over and over. It is crazy that he exists and people still complain about being silenced for 5 seconds. Like people would rather get hit by unavoidable damage from across the map than not be able to use their tactical for a couple seconds that they weren't going to use anyways
